wonderful pictures....thank you, BUBBLE for helping everyone to get their special pictures posted.

The lady below me in the tree picture is ADRIENNE from San Francisco.  The lady in the lower right is the late Shirley Thomas from Perth, Australia.  I recognize the lady above Shirley, but I do not remember her name😢

LLOYD, so nice to see YOUR FAMILY....they are a lovely group.

MARYANN, the girls are getting so big.....that is a very special picture for you to remember your nice birthday gathering❣️

JANE, how nice to see your Christy and you together.  That is a beautiful rhododendron.

GLORIA, now that is one TALL Saguaro......your Regina looks like a midget🤣🤣

I've been & looked several times & surprised I didn't comment! Love getting to meet the families & see who we've been talking about in here!  Thank you all for sharing them with us.... and many thanks to Bubble for posting!

Jane, I think Christy looks a lot like you & think you both have fun when you get together... your smiles light up your faces. Love how the hat leaves shadows on you... On my walk home in grade school there was a huge rhododendron, maybe lighter color, in one yard. We never walked in anyone's yards but I just had to see that mass of blooms up close so dared to go near. It was awesome, probably 75 years ago & I can still picture it.

Mary Ann, you had a nice turn out for your birthday! Couldn't see the twins very good, are they identical?  Dot is looking good. I still miss Norm, hope you don't mind my saying, he reminded me so much of my own brothers.

Mary Ann

Shirley, the girls are not identical, however, they do look much alike.  Mother Alicia has carrot red hair and James did when he was young; his is now more auburn.  The girls have carrot red hair.  Jo's is curly and Ellie's straight, however, when I saw Ellie on Easter I noticed a slight wave at the end of her hair.  James has curly hair, much the same as Tom's.  I like to think that comes from our side of the family because both Norm and I had wavy hair with body.  Jo weighed a pound more than Ellie when they were born but Ellie is catching up.  Jo is more big boned and Ellie more small boned.  But facially, they look like sisters!

Jenny, thoughts and prayers with Michele.

Thanks for all the nice comments.  Christy hasn't had it easy but she's never lost her smile or her knack of doing nice things for others.  I can depend on all my kids for that! I do enjoy sharing my family with my best friends!

Posting for Shirley

Here's a shot my son took when I stopped to "adjust my thinking".  This bike is not remotely like my other regular bike or my little Yahama Chappie..... It is taller/ higher than I expected & I had the wrong kind of shoes on (they kept getting tangled trying to step through the frame).  Anyway, if I don't break a leg right away, I think it will be fun to toodle around the campgrounds to take photos.

Oh, sending one of the red columbine that "came out of nowhere" by my front door.

.Great picture, Shirley.  I am sure you will get a lot of enjoyment out of your new "toy".  Just be careful.  We don't want any accidents for you.  It looks like it will be perfect for when you are camping.  Will give you a chance to meet up with some new friends..

Thanks, Bubble, for posting for Shirley.

Shirley, that looks like a lot of fun....maybe a helmet would be in order? If you are just toodling in camp grounds you may not need one though.
Beautiful columbine too.

It's nice to see pictures of both Shirley and the columbine.  The bike looks like fun but I am sure I never would have attempted such a thing when I was her age.  I'm a lot "chicken".

Cool Shirley ...

I would have to have a 3 wheeler,
because of my vision..  I give anyone
our age credit for bopping around on
a bike.

You know the rules and breaking something
is not an option.

Have FUN!

Neato!  Shirley but like Sandy said, no broken bones and I don't agree with not needing a helmet.  In my experience, campgrounds have rocks and trees both of which object to being hit and tend to hit back!

Nice photo Shirley—-of you and the flower.  That bike looks like fun but make sure you only toodle😁.  It has been years since I was on a bike of any kind.

OH MY GOODNESS....SHIRLEY❣️
I love your new bike.....and I can not wait to see you on it in person when you are here!   I do not believe I have  NEVER seen a red Columbine!  It is beautiful!

Mark and Megan are coming by with Jonah shortly and Brian and Cathy are coming too.  Sadly, Michele is not well at all today, so she is in bed and Dave will not leave her alone....I feel so badly for them.

Enjoy your day, EVERYFRIEND  and THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting the picture BUBBLE.

Good afternoon. sunny day great for golf as the forecast had been rain.  they are playing  a few miles from me.

Larry we need a bed side by side. I too have the restless leg, you can get restless leg cream on line or at Walgreens.  My doctor told me not to take the pills for it.
I get the gasping for breath bad yesterday.  The aide was here and she called the nurse who gave me a shot of morphine under the tongue 1% which helped then a shot of something to make me relax.  I slept for 8 hours.  feel better to day.  they also brought me a nebulizer which I am to use when I get up and once before I go to bed.  Of course they tell you to SMELL THE FLOWERS AND BLOW OUT THE CANDLE.
so far I am happy with this set up. someone is here as soon as I call.

Hugs and prays to all in need
By the way my grandson just drove up from Niceville. He is walking lots better.

Gloria de..... glad you mentioned "SMELL THE FLOWERS AND BLOW OUT THE CANDLE", I had forgotten that & think it will help my breathing right now. Been doing a lot of shallow breathing for quite a while & it does take a toll on the body. I am happy to read your gr-son is walking, this is the Miracle boy, right?  Great news!

Sandy, I had the wrong glasses on for riding the bike so was a little un-nerving. Those glasses were from about 15 years ago & are the best for inside the house but not for much distance. I have been switching back & forth to find whatever works for driving, for in the house & in the stores.... but still have to take them off to read. Not at all satisfied with what the eye doctor said last visit so will wait for another, different check up.

Mary Ann, lucky for me my twin aunts broke my mother in by being such tom-boys as they grew up. Their mother died when my mother was just 7 so she felt responsible for the twins & a younger little girl as they grew up. They had 3 older brothers & an older sister, their father married a widowed cousin of their mother some years later, she brought 2 sons/cousins into the family. The oldest girl got married & sort of left my mother in charge of the little kids. By the time I came along my mother was happy to have a kid that could take care of herself (after I got past being sick), so I kind of raised myself. I lived on my bike, happy to ride to the library & store, it was almost an extra leg, part of me.

Amy, Jean & Jane.... I don't worry about hitting my head as much as breaking a leg if I go over.... seriously, my biggest concern is how to get that leg away from the bike so I can just roll away. The helmet I have for the Yamaha has a face cover but I feel like I can't breathe in it & not impressed with regular bike helmets. Riding for most of my life it was not my head that ever got hurt, I may change my mind to probably too late.  ::)

Jenn, so sorry that Dave & Michele can't be with you & the "California Kids".... but he is such a good person to stay with her when she needs him so much. Hope you can make it to Mt.Princeton while we are there. My boys are a little worried about me this year (so their sister says), but I've let them know that what ever happens, all bases are covered! We will have fun.

Thanks for the comments about the columbine... it was such a shock to see when it started to bloom! Don't know how to save seeds from them, I have the pinkish type all over the yard, they just grow where they want to. I do love them.

Cats are pacing, waiting for me to come out & go down to the river with them.

It is funny that you you
say Fe looks like me.    Actually,  her Mother
and my Daughter Kelly (her Grand Mother) both
have said that Fe resembles my side of the family.

Gloria, so glad your grandson was able to drive up from Niceville.  It's good to hear that you are happy with the care you are getting.

Nice photos, Sandy—-thirty years.  They went by so fast.

Shirley, you must be planning your usual trip to the mountains with your boys.  You look like a natural on that motorbike.

Love the photos, Sandy.... and I also think Fe looks like you, any pics of you at that age? Where did you grow up? Always a water person?

I'm jealous, I tried to become a blond one time & all it did was turn my hair orange. Even in high school I was getting gray/white. My twin aunts were white from my first memory of them, it's in my genes! I get white hair from both sides, twin aunts were Mother's sisters but I remember when looking in the coffin at my father's father (age 65), he had a full head of that "glow in the dark" white hair. My only memory of him.

Jean, I start planning the trip to CO in January when the boys are getting reservations that first week. By the time we head out I have so much stuff loaded in that RV we can hardly move around. A lot can go out when we get there, one son takes a big canopy & the other son takes a screen room... I put up the little hunting blind that keeps my chairs & bike dry during those daily showers. I don't haul nearly as much when I go to MO alone, cat provisions & I know what I want to eat.  I think we had to settle for sites a few sites apart.... we've been there enough to know which have some shade & which ones the elephant will fit into.

The sky is rumbling, rain about to start. The pool looks so nice......need to take a photo before the storm. One year it happened like this & had photos less than half an hour apart.... pool went from perfect turquoise to black that fast.

Amy

Sandy, Fe is so sweet!! She looks so proud of her tattoo.......thank you for sharing...

Nice to get the one of Mary Ann and Family. Looks like a nice birthday lunch crowd.
I recognized some of the ladies on the christmas tree. Many are gone now.
Going to send this before it vanishes again.
