Today’s Encouraging Thought…
Jul
18
God loves us as we are, not as we should be. Nobody is as they should be…that is why we need Him so. God’s light shines the brightest as we love others who are also not as they should be. By this, some may see and desire a relationship with our God of Love too!

Gloria, I envy you the weather you had. I love those harsh storms, as long as they don't damage anything or anyone.

Janie we are having the same "nothing" temps. 82 for  high down to 70 at night.

Larry , I never sleep "in" any more; My nurse is hear with my first medications at 6 a.m., then I spend a good half hour in exercise, then 20 min. on the breathing machine, then close to an hour on 'Bible and related books. 'then I have  a light breakfast at home, then get cleaned up, ready for the day and on for daily scheduled program. So after another hour of lunch with friends I am ready for book and nap.

Jenny, I am glad you are home and enjoying nice weather. I am so happy for your D
ad..he encourages  me as I am now 93 and a half…..looking forward to our shared birth date in Nov.

time to go to lunch….June

Good afternoon, lots cooler today, low humidity. Yesterday ABC's  weather at 4 said Riverhead was going to get a big downpour at 5PM, for a change it was right on the dote lasted about half hour, we really needed that rain

Gloria, I just wrote what a big rain, the weatherman did show a big funnel cloud over Brooklyn. Tomorrow I finally go see the surgeon in Hampton Bays,  I had a choice I could see him next Monday in Riverhead or tomorrow in another town. I had to cancel my Red  Hat luncheon at Jerry and the Mermaids

Jenning glad to see you are home safe and sound. Does The nurse come in every day?  Minecame for 3 weeks, would have come longer if needed.

June, glad to see you up and about. I like the songs Englebert sings.  I went to one of his shows years ago

GLORIA de, my dad currently has...

occupational therapist, that will see him today and 3 more times

wound care nurse to dress the bed sore, that will only come one more time tomorrow.  It looks great.

Physical therapist, there yesterday and will come 3 more times

This is what is the current plan.  I think they all feel comfortable that he can then continue on his own.   He returns to the surgeon in 3 weeks for them to X-ray and let him know what restrictions he will need from then on.  Over all, it was about a two week period of home health care and I think that is about all he will require.  Diane is there, however she is very limited in what she can do to help him, and they are well aware of her restrictions.  I felt they were a bit slow in getting started, as no one came to help him showere or tell/show him HOW he should do it.  My Bob got the shower all set up for him with hand held shower, seat, mats and grab bars AND he showered him two times, bless his heart.  Not many son-in-laws would step up to the plate and do that!  I know his own son would not have done that!  Now today the OP therapist is coming to do it for the first time.

I hope you are getting in to see about the hematoma and it is not as bad for you.  Take care!

JUNE, we WILL celebrate our shared Birthday again this year and hopefully more to come.  I know you have been so capable as well, like my dad, but when the body parts do not cooperate there is not much more you can do and I think you do your best to keep getting around.  Nice you and friends got to have lunch with Your Dori.

LARRY, glad you got to take part in the 60 cent pancakes at IHOP yesterday...we passed several of them and ever time I would say I wish we had time to stop for pancakes!

COTTON CANDY, I, too, hope you will join in and let us all get to know you.

We are off to the store to get some food in the house.

JANE, you get rested up....you sound exhausted.

Jenny, I am so pleased to hear how well your father is doing.  I don't want to upset you but my father was the same and because he was alone after all the help from PT, OT, etc., ended, he slipped into just sitting, his muscles shriveled up and a year or so later, was
helpless, had to be lifted in & out of a wheelchair.  Broke my heart.  I hope Diane is strong enough to keep him strong, make him work those muscles and continue exercises. We all thought Dad would be back to his old self and in spite of my brother & sister visiting him every day, they didn't insist he do the exercises and did everything for him.  Lesson learned, no easy way to keep strong, but we must. After all your "repairs", Jenny, I'm sure you know this and also know all you can do is encourage.  I hope by knowing that Diane needs him, he will choose to stay strong.  God Bless... tell him we are all rooting for him!

Gloria de..... I don't know if I've posted since you explained about your recent problems.... but you do have my sincere sympathy for the pain and distress of each day.  You have a great attitude and outlook, an inspiration for sure.

Larry, yesterday I visited with a "greeter" at Sam's Club, he was upset about calling Uber to go to the airport for "stand by", plane was full so called for Uber to take him home..... the price was double what he paid to go, same distance.  Are prices set by each driver or set fees?  He said he objected but didn't do any good.  Are you allowed to ask for a particular driver each time?  Reason I ask is we never know when we will need rides, we had a scary cab ride once, I would have not gotten in the vehicle if Cas had not been along... don't remember the city, but needed to be at the airport without delay.  A very dirty cab, smelled awful, but the driver smelled worse (of booze).  I don't think I've been in a cab since. I'm sure your son is a very considerate driver & has me thinking....

I didn't sleep in this morning, woke up at 5:00, lay in bed until near 6:00, fed cats & myself, sprayed myself for bugs & out working in the yard until about 10:30.  After a shower & washing my hair, we all ate again and I tried to nap but didn't succeed.  Still have more yard work to do in the morning, more "cuttings" to get into the dumpster before the mower comes.  The humidity is so high it's hard to stay out very long... sweat was dripping off my face.  I'd love to find a husband/wife team that could just do jobs we always did ourselves.... Anyone I've talked to gets a glaze over their eyes & prices start going up before they open their mouth.  Can't get a price per hour & know for a fact that people that worked for my daughter started racking up prices as they worked, every movement was an extra cost.  I hate being taken advantage of... & had it happen more than once this summer already.  Whine-whine....

Time to eat & feed cats again, I'd love to have a little shower (or big one) to cool things down.  I was moaning about my electric bill until talking to the lady across the fence this morning.... my bill was half what hers is (about same size houses) & we had our thermostats set on the same.  These extra heavy, dark tinted storm windows do help.... but 4 people in their house coming & going so that makes a difference.  I did change all my lights to LED after Cas died and noticed a big difference doing that.

Shirley

Hahaha.... I think I may have not posted "the rest of the story".... phone rang & I was doing the copy & paste & rushed.... nothing important & that was loooong enough anyway....   :uglystupid2:

JaneS

Well, it's official!  I've become a "lie-about".  AllI do is lie about and do nothing!  I sure hope tomorrow is more productive than today was!  I sure don't see how it could become less productive.

When I had one of my knee surgeries, it was mid-winter and my daughter was concerned that I'd get cold just sitting around. (she knows I keep the thermostat kind of low).  So she sent me a thermal blanket with a fuzzy side and a smooth side from LLBean.  I love it but if you ever get one, be aware.  When they sew those two sides together, they stuff them full of zzzzs and there's no way they can get out unless they're touching skin.  and when they touch skin, it's lethal.  YOU SLEEP!  Resistance is futile!  Maybe I should take it to bed with me at night?

I've slept, fed the dogs and myself, answered some messages, filled out a survey for my personal care clinic and if there was something hollering for doing, I might even do it.  You notice I said "might"!

Cotton Candy...welcome.  We're a loving, helping, understanding, sharing, caring and sometimes rather crazy lot.  Join us!  We love newcomers!

Shirley, re Uber rates - if an area is busy, they have surges.  Probably when the Sam's greeter called Uber, it was from home and in a low surge area, but when he called them from the airport, things were busy, therefore in a high surge area.  Tom occasionally drives for Uber and they have days and/or nights that are more busy than others.  Especially after a concert or like activity, rates will be higher.  There are times when things are dead and rates are too.  If you see the greeter again, you can explain it to him - and it's perfectly fair.

Tom had a birthday Monday and he's been celebrating ever since.  Tonight we went to Dot's for supper.  Tom does most of the cooking here so I know it was nice for him to get a home cooked meal that someone else cooked.  Tomorrow we will go to Jan's for another birthday celebration.  I am sure he'll have something to do on Friday too.  As I recall, my birthday was celebrated on the installment plan too.

Had a busy day. A few years back I would have considered it a boring day. What a difference a few years makes when you get in the 90's.

Went down for Bible study, back to go for lunch, home to rest and read, eyes closed for about half an hour, then down for book signing and purchase from our former Pastor. Then home all worn out. I have a light supper in the microwave and then I am through for the day. Tomorrow will be a "do nothing" outside the house. Inside my plants are saying, "'WATER ME !"

Now I am going to eat some supper and close down the computer, read and sleep. Good night dear hearts, my Love, hugs and prayers are coming out to you all. June

Good morning everyone..

Another lovely cool morning here! No or very little humidity for now. Yesterday was a bonus day for me, I finally got the bathroom walls, windows washed down and the floor also. No nap either!!

Crow was hollering for his/their breakfast so they have been fed.

It won't be long till we will have fresh beans, they are starting to grow now and the peas are starting to fill up. Every time I head to the garden Golden girl is right behind me, she is also looking for beans!! She loves the fresh beans as much as we do.

Larry,is IHOP like a Wendy's?  Didn't  sleep in this morning but not promising not to do it again :)

Jane, hope you got some much needed sleep. Running on empty is not good. Cherries here are not that great yet but I hope to can some when they taste like cherries .

June, I think you are amazing in what you do. You not only lift our spirits in here but in your home too.

Shirley,I hope you find someone to help you. Sure would make life a bit easier on you.

Jenny, your Dad is doing great, hope he keeps up the good work.

Lloyd, that was so nice of Bob to help you with the radiator...hope you can relax a bit now.

Gloria, where are you??

Linedancer yesterday one neighbour was cleaning up the 3-4 trees that fell across his sheds. Other neighbour still has a big poplar in his back yard all from that storm that went through here.

Cotton Candy, please join in, as others have said this is a great group. When I was at the dairy the other day,one lady was telling me they now have a new ice cream and it is very good...….Cotton Candy was the flavour!

Better get a move on it.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Good Morning Everyfriend!  Our morning is kind of like Amy's....low temp54 when I got up 58 right now...low humidity...sunshine.   Temps are headed for the low 80s.  I can live with that.

I actually feel like doing something today!  I wonder what it should be.  My daughter and granddaughter are coming Saturday, Maybe I should clean up and prepare.

The one thing my parents would splurge on at the county fair when we were little was a big cone of cotton candy.,,,only one and my sister and I had to share it but it was a real treat for us!  That brought back a memory.  Thanks!

Guess I'll get on with my computer stuff this morning and then try moving around a bit later.  Amy made me tired with her wall washing, etc.  But that's the kind of tired that doesn't last.  I'll get over it.

Enjoy your day, Everyfriend!

Good morning everyone, 53° , amd a wonderful day in start to the day. Weathe rman said it feel like fall. Now that is my kind of day. My #1 DIL-I always said she was the second daughter I wanted-called me last night and asked if I wold like to go shopping today. I said YES. I have been wanting some things for awhile and will be able to get them today.

JANE  glad you had a good sleep Tuesday night. That is like me when I have a sleepless night, so tir ed that when I finally get to sleep I can sleep 9 or 10 hours without moving.  Of course I am stiff when I get up but feel rested.  Yesterday a high moved in with the wind co‌ming from the north west from Canada.  Love it.

AMY  thanks for sendingus the cool air and low hummidity.

LARRY  Tom Sellick played the oldest of the Sackett brothers in a few of the movies.

JENNY  so that is why my ear s qwere burning yesterday. You sure do know me and how much I love western views. Nothing like that here. When my western family took me to Arizona I was fascinated with all the differ ent scenery. Wonderfyl for Mark and Megan.

JUNE  we had tornado warnings here with that storm and there was one  just over the border  in Conn.

GLORIA de  the weatherpeople here were on time with the storm here, too.

Hi Everyone.  We are expecting to get to only 85 degrees this afternoon and a 50% chance of more rain.  Everything is very green here at the moment.  The only thing on my schedule for today is to pick up my friend and we will go to coffee for an hour.  Then I plan on a quiet day.  I was tried all day yesterday and today seems to be starting the same.  Late yesterday morning Scott came out for a little while as he had to work last night.  While he was here he got his mother's printer going again.

Pat and I went to the dinner at the Church last evening and had forgotten it started at 6 pm rather than 5:30 as usual.  One of the families that sit at our table had forgotten also so we had a nice change to just sit and visit.  We had a good meal and following that the 40 teens and adults that worked on the mission project here this week stood in front of the group and a member from each team discussed what they have and will continue to do to work on the four homes.  There was no charge for the dinner and the folks in attendance were asked to donate toward needs for the homes that the money United Way had provided didn't cover or couldn't be used for.  One of the needs was a window air conditioner.  They had already had donated a stove and four new mattresses.  They had a list of things for each house they would like to have and people could sign up to donate towels and other like items as several of the bathrooms were being worked on.  It was a very nice evening.

My new corkscrew came in the mail yesterday so I decided to open the bottle of wine and have a sherry size glass of it.  I found out I had no clue as to how to use the corkscrew.  However, I did a search and found a video of the exact item being demonstrated and it showed how the tool was to be used.  So I got the bottle open and had the wine.

I am soon going to run out of time this morning before I need to leave so will try to be briefer than usual and perhaps won't address each person who has left a posting since I was here yesterday.

Jenny, glad you are safely home and had a nice drive back.  Congratulations to Mark and his new job as the head golf pro and GM.  He certainly has been advancing quickly.  Maybe they will be able to settle in and stay there a long while.  Glad your dad is doing so well.

June, thanks for sharing those devotional thoughts.  I don't think I would like to have someone waking me each morning at 6 am.

Shirley, I am glad Mary Ann explained about the Uber charges as I have no knowledge of the subject and have never used that service.

Jane, nice to read you are feeling better today.  I just can't picture you as being a "lie about" as one day sure don't make you so. I only had cotton candy a few times as I was growing up and loved it.  I have had it a time or two as an adult and it is still good.

Gloria, glad you are getting to go shopping with your DIL today.

Amy, do you feed the crows?  Your speaking of fresh beans and peas brings back many memories of my mother and grandmother sitting out on our front porch in the morning shelling peas or breaking green beans.  Mother always called a lot of green beans.  My grandmother made the best green beans I have ever eaten as they were fixed with bacon grease and or so good.  No, IHOP isn't like Wendy's and is not a fast food restaurant.  They stay open 24 hours a day and feature a big breakfast menu and then a full menu of lunch and dinner items.  I think they are noted for their large servings.  I have always enjoyed their food.

Another hot day for a stretch here and the nights have been hot too.  We need a "norther" as Texans would say.

Cotton Candy:  We lived in Plano for 9 years having been transferred from a town of 500 in Minnesota to Texas.  All four children graduated from Plano high and also Texas universitiys.  Are you in that area?  Thank you for the Blessing you send out on you name.

Gloria:  I jumped with joy over the house cleaning help!  It is too pricey but sure was a treat.

Jenny:  Glad to see you home and your dad is so much better.  Your Bob is a gem!!! It sure is different this summer with so many hot nights.  Did you hear that West Nile Virus in near the Fort?  It could be here too with that ravine.  Take care.  I am so glad that Mark & family did not have fire damage.

Larry:  That is a such a practical gift - helping fix some homes.

Mary Ann

It's cooler to start out here today too but I imagine we will be in the high 80s and that's not so cool.  We may get rain tomorrow night or Saturday and Tom just told me his high school class will be gathering outside tomorrow night and while he would welcome the rain, he's just as soon it delay a bit.  We need rain badly as our beautiful green lawns are getting brown, which is not beautiful!

I forgot to mention in telling about Uber that the prices within a surge differ with how busy the area is.  Usually there is more activity downtown and at the airport so when it is very busy, the surge price goes up.

The mowers are here today; they come every Thursday.  We've had the same crew for years and they do a good job.

We ate at Dot's last night and tonight we'll be at Jan's  and next week at Annie's, all to celebrate Tom's 61st birthday.  I think he'll be finished celebrating by then.

Mary Ann, thanks for the info about Uber prices....I'll pass it on to the greeter next time I see him.  Wish Tom a very Happy Birthday for me (from me?)...

So hot today I'm shut in for the rest of the day, last report was "feels like 104".... heat index alert.

Larry, just curious.... if the Dr recommends wine, why not pure grape juice?  I'm a fan of Welch's 100% grape juice but can not drink red wine.... something in it makes me feel like I am smothering, choking.  I can drink white or rose' wine, only red is a problem.

Cotton Candy, I've run across you before & trying to figure just where... maybe a photography site other than this?  Maybe over in Photos here.........  I agree with all the others, this really is a good place to stop & talk things over...and I also love the memory of eating cotton candy at the MO State Fair.

Gloria, my daughter headed out this morning for AZ a "class reunion" with her husband's .."American School" graduation class. He grew up all over the world attending classes so a reunion brings people from everywhere.  I envy them the cooler nights, she has been watching their temps & it's about 7,000' & much cooler than where they live. She promised photos so hope they get out & not just "city" pics.

Jane, I bought all of my greats those fuzzy blankets for Christmas a year ago... was told they loved them. Got myself one & the cats were thrilled with it.  I gave up & put it on the bed in the RV, for them ... I'm sure not a plush as yours, the ones I got were from Sam's Club.... but much thicker than any I had seen before.

I need a nap.  Hate to even do laundry with the heat & power usage, don't need any black or brown outs!  I stayed up late one night to do laundry so guess that will happen again or I'll run out of clothes!  Be COOL~~

Good afternoon.. Im on my tablet so typing errors may be interesting.

Shirley,,  we're supposed to get to 104 air temperature today and 107 tomorrow.  There's enougb humodity that it will feel as much as 10 degrees hotter.

I woke up 2 hours earlier than usual and was "rarin' to go".  By 10:00 I had  run the flowerbed sprinkler, hose watered all the pots, cleaned and refilled the birdbath, washed the hummingbird feeder,  made syrup for it, done a load of laundry and gone around the block to Braum's and Walgreen's.
Just reading that makes me tired.ðŸ™,,

Welcome, Cotton Candy.  Nice to be the "middleman"..(.."middlewoman" ðŸ˜'?) between you and Shirley.

Wishing Everyfriend Everywhere an Enjoyable Day.

Thanks everyone for the invite...I lost my husband of 54 years 5 years ago..it's fun to connect with others in different parts of the country..and read how different..yet the same in many instances...I live in what's called the hill country of Texas...very small town...40 miles to closest hospital...the rivers and mountains are beautiful..but right now we are having 100 plus temps and really need rain..I guess some would say I live a boring life....but I'm happy and at peace....Have a great rest of the day to anyone reading...CC

Hi CottonCandy, My daughter lives in Allen, TX.  That's (I think) 5 suburbs north out of Dallas.  I spent 7 summers there watching the girls right after they moved there.  I really don't like the traffic but where they actually lived, it was pretty quiet.

I like where I am...unless I have to go somewhere.  You've heard the expression, "you can't get there from here".  Well, they meant my home town.  We do have a hospital practically in my backyard and a major medical center about 10 miles away but the nearest major airport is about a 3 hour drive.  Not so convenient!

Keep coming back and tell us more!

Cotton Candy, are you in the "hill country" around San Marcos/New Braunfels?  I love that area.    Took my granddaughter to an Intergenerational Elderhostel at Canyon Oaks Ranch near Kimberley when she was 9 (she's now 23).  It was lots of fun.

Lloyd Hammond

boy we are relay getting the weather all around us today. whiteman airforce base had seventy eight MPH wend.  Oak Grove MO. had softball size hail. that is a;; eighteen or so miles on two defferant sides of us. is cloudy and thunder and lighten all around us still. I am making home Made ice Cream. wish you were here.

Welcome Cotton Candy. I am so glad you decided to join the "family" here. This member is taking the day off. It has been a busy week, so I am resting. The Red Hatters will be singing again tomorrow at 10 a.m..

My plants were happy to get their weekly watering....three days late, other than that I have had my shower, stayed in "at home" clothing, read and slept. Just had a light late lunch, so I am really at ease today.

Gloria..glad you had a day of shopping...good for You girl.

Thinking of our Gloria de, and pray all is going well with her.

I wish Bubble could post some news to us of her dear friend.

Off I go.......June
As long as we are here, let's dance.

Shirley

See what you started, CC?  I had a friend that owned one of the "week end" houses, they invested is the most unusual places, but
I did learn about them... Fredericksburg?  We spent a week in Horse Shoe Bay... sp?, many years ago.  Another lady invited to the same event & I checked out the antique stores and I actually took a trail ride with some of the other ladies.  Loved the conventions in San Antonio but best of all, they were held during bluebonnet season.  My camera was hardly off as we drove down the highway, but I never did get good close ups of them or the red Indian paintbrush.  Guess I need to go back!

June, you reminded me that my plants were also begging for water. Job taken care of.  I only have 3 pots & because of my dark tinted storm windows, poor plants suffer from lack of sun & often lack of water.  How they survive, I don't know, kind of pitiful looking.

Lloyd, so far this year we have missed the hail... plenty of wind.  Had a "pop up" shower a couple days ago when clouds just opened over my house & dumped & the wind looked like it was going to break every tree limb off... few minutes & it was gone.  No damage  in my yard.  Love the chair you made & curious if you had a pattern.  My husband was always building something, one son is following in his footsteps (when he has time).  Guess that storm went on to Sedalia, still have lots of nieces & nephews living there.

Jane, we never had dental insurance.... thank goodness we had good coverage when we had all the heart operations!  Good thoughts for you.

Time to think about what to eat (again).  Got a tomato & some bacon, start with that~~   guess I will be doing laundry most of the night....

Good evening, beautiful comfortable day

June, I did see a surgeon to day, and he did a small procedure to day, and my leg is really throbbing. I have to go back Monday So much fun getting old isn't it

Shirley,I try to keep up with watering of plants.  I have two plants the that need repotting .  they are both what I call sentimental plants The Peace Lily Mark gave me over 35 years ago, and a small Christmas tree we got 20 years ago, it came in a little 2 inch pot, I now have it in a large pot, which it is out growing, it has grown wide and about 7 inch high

I also say Welcome Cotton Candy

Lindancer,  I make a syrup of one part sugar and 4 parts water.    My feeder holds about 2 cups so I use a half cup measure - one of sugar and 4 of water. Let simmer for 5 minutes and cool.
"They" say you don't need to tint it red but I do a little bit because that helps me tell when it's empty.
Not sure how many hummers come but I have to fill it about once a week.
Have never figured out how to keep the ants from getting in, though.

Shirley, I would have helped you with that tomato and bacon!!!!!

#1 son posted a picture of his dashboard thermometer as he was driving home after work.  It read 113 degrees!  I hope that was outside - not in his car!!!!!

June Drabek

Gloria de, I was told by a nurse after I had thyroid surgery, that if we have pain after a treatment we cannot heal as quickly as we do if we are given pain killers of one kind or another. I firmly believe she was correct. The body can relax with a pain killer...be it something easy like Tylenol or with serious pain an injection of some kind. Treating us for something and then shuttle us out with nothing but a new appointment is NOT doctoring in my estimation.

I have an Apt. with a section that is all windows. That is where I have my low bookcases and my plants. It faces East. I have Geraniums, Ivy, delicate bamboo, and african violets. One main Violet and six starters that I talk to and tell them to take root and grow into blooming plants. All the windows have venition blinds so I can easily adjust to their needs. My computer desk takes up one end of this room, so the blinds are essential.

Time to go fix up some light supper....I have really relaxed all day today. Haven't been outside once, but  I did walk the hallways.

Have a goodnight my dear hearts. I love you much. June    :smitten:

Wish you had been here to share the bacon & tomato sandwich, Callie.  It tasted so good, plenty of tomato & bacon so when I finished off the first half I decided I'd better toast another slice of bread to make it all come out even.   ;D   Forced myself to use the Oatnut for this half, (I love bread & had indulged myself with a "buttertop" that is going too fast).... and after putting it in the toaster looked back at my plate & saw I had not eaten the other half.  I was more than full but still had room for a "Ding-dong" & cup of coffee.  Staying inside.... too close to the kitchen is putting on some extra inches, my comfy clothes are getting snug.

Gloria de.... my plants all need to be repotted...an outside job so will wait until cooler weather.  I saw while ago that our feels like was 107... takes your breath away just to step outside.

Poor CallieCat insists on staying in the garage & it is like an oven.  I leave a door open for her to get out during the day but can't at night.... opossum, skunks & raccoons come in for the dry cat food. She comes inside to eat with her kids 4 times a day & runs to which ever door she wants to go out, pool area, front door or garage. One time I got her to stay in for a few minutes, she even sat on the couch when I lifted her on it (keep a sheet over it) but couldn't relax so I let her out.

Just had a thunder boomer go over.... lighting but no rain.  Seems to be over.  Tom came in but Tiger refused.  He is hiding in the hall, terrified of storms.

Got to start the laundry so sweet dreams to all and God Bless.... Shirley

SHIRLEY, STARTING the laundry NOW?  When do you sleep.  Or are you programmed not to sleep?

I, for one, am going to bed right now.  I have to be perky and behind my counter tomorrow morning and it's not getting any easier!  Good night Everyfriend and may God bless us, every one!
