Good Morning Everyfriend! I was here earlier and then had to leave and feed Mickie.  I'd given up on Cooper coming this morning and Mickie and I were out for our walk when I got a text saying they were on the way.

The snow was supposed to start around 6 this morning but here it is 9 and we have no snow!  However the sky is grey and low and threatening so I'm sure it's coming.

JENNY, thanks for printing your "reactions" to the vaccine.  Now, if that happens to me, I'll understand.

Gotta get started on "stuff".  I wish you all a good day...better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.

Good morning...

I hit the floor running this morning. Needed to head to town to pick up more eye of the round for my friend and one more for us. I am glad I didn't let it go till another day as the almost full bin from Fri is almost empty!

Beautiful sunny day but cold sitting at 0° F

Patricia, Jane , he does come up with some pearls of wisdom.

Jenny good news to get the vaccine!

Better get a long...

Enjoy your day and stay safe.

Well, those easy winter days are apparently behind us,

Wind Chill Warning issued January 31 at 4:11AM AKST until February 02 at 3:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks
Middle Tanana Valley
...WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM MONDAY TO 3 PM AKST
TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills expected to 60 below zero.
* WHERE...Hills north and east of Fairbanks.
* WHEN...3 AM Monday to 3 PM Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting to 40 mph will lead to
dangerously cold wind chills that will cause frostbite in as
little as 10 minutes to exposed skin. Additionally, expect areas
of blowing snow.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Chill Warning means the combination of very cold air and
sustained wind speeds of 15 mph or more will create dangerously
low wind chill values. Frost bite can occur quickly and even
hypothermia or death if precautions are not taken.

Patricia, I keep forgetting to comment on the drumming bird...looks just like our Peepers who is now 27 yrs old.
Wind chill is a sneak and if your not carful you can become frostbit in no time.. I bundle up and if it is really cold out I would wear my down coat. Tried wearing that when I danced with Mr SB but it was just too hot!!

We used to have more wind chill long ago, and after the mild winter we've had, I hope it isn't making a come back. I remember wearing mini skirts in seventh grade and thinking it was okay to dash from home across an empty field to school. Of course, I ended up with frostbite, along with many other girls.

good afternoon everyone. just a point of interest do not say any thing in front of a 2 year old that should not be repeated. Our 2 year old g grand son, heard me addressing my wife. hay Nancy come here. and he said hay Nancy give me a apple please. used to be hat grandma or grandpa.

Amy

Lloyd, out of the mouths of babes! :)
At least he did say please and you will both be Grandma and Grandpa to him....

LLOYD, my grandson was just barely two and was sitting in the car seat back when we could have them in the front.  As he looked out the window, he said, "Dammit".  I didn't believe I heard right so I said "What did you say?"  He turned and looked at me and said "Dammit".  I asked him where he heard that word and he said, "Aunt Caffy say dammit."  If he had said his father said it or his uncle or any one of a number of others, I wouldn't have been shocked but Cathy didn't use swear words.  And when I was telling the story, she was laughing until I got to the end and she couldn't believe it either.  And that's the only time I ever heard him use that word.

Now I'm off to the haystack.  We have Cooper for the night since we did get considerable snow while Frankie was working.  I already had it figured out that if she made it safely home, she better not try any extra driving to pick him up so here he is.

I wish you all a peaceful night's sleep and a happy, healthy, germ-free tomorrow.  And may God bless us, every one!
