Oldiesmann: FYI. you can now get to this site via seniorsandfriends.com as well as the regular .org (the .com will redirect you). Figured it might make things a bit easier to remember :)

Oldiesmann: Welcome janezka! I'm probably the only one here who's not a senior (I'm almost 40) but I handle the technical side of things, so if you have any questions, just ask :)

so_P_bubble: Hi Janezka! welcome.  Try the forum and look around to see what might interest you. The Soda Shoppe is the place where you will meet most of the members.

Oldiesmann

Stumbled across this clip a while back. Wish I could dance like this.

Apparently the guy's name is Paul Shelnutt, he's from Alabama and is pretty well known among buck dancers, but I can't find any other info on him beyond that. There are several additional clips of him on YouTube as well.

And he makes it look so easy, and i see the other guy got into the act....right in front of the camera, blocking view of the older guy...

Here's another video of him with nobody else getting in the way this time.

Where does he get all his energy from, i am worn out just by watching him...

Speaking of energy, here's another guy who's even more well known - even getting being named a National Endowment for the Arts Heritage Fellow (see https://www.arts.gov/honors/heritage for more on that). He was 76 or 77 at the time of this video. More info on him at https://www.arts.gov/honors/heritage/thomas-maupin
