Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

WE'RE VOTING

UNTIL NOVEMBER 8.

CHOOSE YOUR 5 FAVORITES

"C L O C K S"

Details:

  • From FlaJean:  "Give us Clocks. Any type of clocks (wall clocks, mounted clocks such as on a building, etc., but not in paintings)."

  • Use the attachment feature to show your photos in your post making sure that your image is no larger than 640 pixels wide or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes.  If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo.  If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it.

  • Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.

  • If you possibly can, please tell us the camera you used to take your photo and when you took it.  But if you don't know, please post the picture anyway.  We want to see your photos.  :)  Please only enter photos taken by you.

  • The challenge is open now and will be locked to uploads on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 and then we'll vote on them.

  • Please put a title in your post for your photos.  We need the title for the poll.

  • Please post only one entry per post/message.

  • Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge.  So start posting.  Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!
Remember, this is a fun project!

Thanks to FlaJean for suggesting this topic.  She was the winner of our last Challenge entitled "Clouds".  Thanks  FlaJean!

Mouse Watch

I took this picture
with my Smart Phone:    Nexus 5X,  Android 7.0

I have no idea if I am doing this right, or
if watches are considered clocks ..      :idiot2:

Pat, I have a serious question about which link to use posting from the Gallery.... the 1st or 2nd. I would also like to ask you to remove my photo from the challenge since it is a watch & not a clock...  I was so determined to figure how to post from the Gallery again (since I have not been into/on Photo Bucket for ages)... & wanted an entry & forgot I do have a "bird" clock that my husband gave me many years ago that I could have entered (if I'd been thinking)....  Part of the challenge is to post a photo that really follows the theme in any contest be it art or photography.... & it's bothered me ever since I posted the watch... it may have told time 100+ years ago but is still NOT a clock!  Thanks... Shirley

so_P_bubble

where is your bird clock?  You can post many entries, didn't you know?

and BTW my cake is not really a clock either!  I understood the theme to mean "clockwork" in general.

Beverly

Shirley - If you hung that watch on the wall it would be a clock!  ;) I will defer to Jeanne Lee but I think your watch is eligible. (No money or prizes involved here! Just a fun challenge.)

Shirley

Aw, shucks, Beverly, I thought we were challenging for that million like the "prize patrol".   :2funny:  You have a sneaky mind.   ;)   I'll just leave it be, so many gorgeous clocks it won't be a problem anyway.

I did finally get that photo of the park off the phone, Bubble... but will have to resize to show how dull the trees are this year.  I need to put back on one taken in the same spot some years ago when the trees were so bright.  On the other hand, I am thinking nap-nap because I don't know how much sleep I got last night.  FitBit is also off today.  My neighbor is having the same problem with theirs off & on.  When I am tired or frustrated I either eat or sleep.....

I've had a lot of candy, potato chips & dip & lunch so guess if I want to get into my jeans next week I'd better sleep & cut out the eating!  Managed to get on Amazon to order a couple things, actually, that's why I got on the computer while ago.  I ordered a mini SD card for the phone because I read lots of photos on a phone can cause havoc. Havoc I don't need more of.  While at it I ordered a couple of thumb drives to load the latest great's Baptism photos on so her parents can e-mail to all those family members that showed up.  I had some prints made for the ones that don't use computers.

I started to read back over for typos but remember this little jewel will cut off if I don't keep it moving.
