The Gulf water in this area is just a beautiful green and so clear.  If I were younger I would sure be out there on one of those jet ski machines, but at my age I feel fortunate I'm still walking so I'm not complaining.  Will just enjoy looking.

Jean that is very impressive, the clean beach and clear water.  Now will look for you and Larry to do some video with the 200

Shirley

Amazing video, Jean!  I'm not a water person but think the jet skis would be fun.  Beautiful water & video.

JeanneP

Been a long time since I walked by sea that colour. Think I was out on a cruise.  I love being by ocean but not crazy about getting onto it. Maybe in water like that I would do it. Long as I can see the bottom.

did my quick trip to the library. Left house at 4pm and back by 4:40. Just still to hot to be outside. Set now for next 2 days as will still be high 90. Got 3 DVD and pickup up "The Hamilton Affair" for one book.  Right now I am in the middle of the book "Margo" Had it out a couple of time but did not start it. It is quite good. Margo was the eldest sister to Anne Frank. in the non fiction book as we know Margo died same time a Anne in the Camp. In this book she lived to escape on the last day. Changed her name, came to the USA and now has a job in a Law office. Not admitting her religion of her life.
Fast reader. I will finish it.

Time to fix fast dinner.

WOW Aki, so much musical talent in the family. That is wonderful.  Did any of the older generation played an instrument?
I also admired their dresses and such a beautiful hair arrangement for Mai.  It was a pleasure for the ears as well as the eyes.
Thank you for sharing, you must be very proud of them all!

jackwv

Aki what a pleasant way to start the day.   Such talent in your family, loved all the music and the videos were so well done.  Will look for more to come.

Mary Ann

What fun to see Aki's grandchildren play the violin.  The violin and piano are my two favorite instruments since I tried to learn both of them.  All three of the children are much more accomplished than I ever was.  The girls are young beauties.  Atsushi is a little gentleman.  Thank you Aki for sharing their talents with us.

Mary Ann

Shirley

I had to battle my computer to see the videos but thoroughly enjoyed!  The girls are so pretty and graceful to watch.  Moi seemed very much in charge of her instrument in the first video, and Mai much more gentle with hers.  You know how much I love the sparkle in Atsushi's eyes, and I can imagine him thinking, "I can do this and will be out playing ball soon...."  Thanks for sharing them with us.

Aki...
...oh what darlings, all your children are following in the the passion of music and playing instruments - the violin...how proud they must be making you as parents, such talent...they are all a delight to watch and to listen too...thank you for coming back to our forum and posting once again..

JeanneP

Aki.  You must spend some great evening and get together when all the family meet. Such Talent. I never use to care for the Violin when I was younger but have learned to love it. Specially when like you girls.
Going to go back to them and listen as I am eating dinner today.

Thank for posting them.

I was unable to log in a a member of S & F. I  re-registered and  got a member as new member... I don't know why. Perhaps something happened in S & F while I was away for a while. This time Jeanee Lee helped me.

Thank you for nice comments from all you guys. My thanks.

JeanneP

AKI.  We all had to start out showing New Members a while back when something was changed in S and F.  Some people have just not come back on.  Guess they did not want to bother with doing all the sign up.  Was easy enough and Jeanne Lee is always ready to help us in anyway she can.

Video showing some of our stormy weather.  We get more rain and storms here than Ocala.  We are so close to the bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

jackwv

Jean, that would be a sight to see (once)  The green sea and dark clouds moving in were beautiful.

Mary Ann

Jean, your storm scenes are spectacular.  I doubt I've ever seen anything like them.  All I can say is - WOW!

Mary Ann

JeanneP

Jean.  Those are beautiful to watch. (Lived close in Uk) but so long as you are far away enough so that you don't have destruction. I don't know how people can stand it to see their home just washing away from being to close to the sea area.
I think in UK there must have been a ruling on building as never where homes and things built as close as they are here. Some areas really built right up to the beaches.
Soon you will have the sun shining out again. That is one thing about Florida.

Yes, nature is beautiful but also dangerous.  When we lived in Ocala, I was sitting in the sun room during a storm and lightning struck our tree not far from where I was sitting.  It really gave me a scare.  It stripped sections of bark off the tree and they ended up in the neighbor's yard.  I jumped up and ran into the living room where I felt safer without all the windows.  I doubt if I was safer but sure felt like it.

Shirley

Gorgeous video, Jean!  Where ever you were, it was a great spot.  We also had a tree get struck by lightning & bark landed on our front porch. The lightning went through the roots to the well, followed the wires into the house & burned out VCRs, security system, a whole bunch of stuff, including the submersible well pump.  Like dummies, we didn't think to turn it in to the insurance, at that time they would have paid, the deductible has gotten so high only major damage is worth claiming now.  Thanks for the show!

Thanks for your info. Assume there was some policy change in S & F.. Jeanne Lee was helpful. I appreciate her help.

Aki, I really enjoy seeing your grandchildren play the violin because it seems so many young people play the guitar these days.  The violin and piano are my favorite instruments, probably because I tried to play both of them in my youth.

Moe is very talented.

We have just a few Japanese families in town but at least 9 thousand from China, Korea. They hold many concerts at the University and other places. Many of their children enter the contest or play at the concerts. Most still play the Violin. Most of the awards that are given out at the schools. They seem to be won by these children also.  Can tell that things have not changed in the raising of their children. Seems that we are getting a little to lenient with ours. I don't have any close but notice when I visit they are lot more spoiled than even mine were.  Times are changing.

You must be very proud of yours. AKI.
