Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Don and Bubble keep sending those great photos.   The two with your wings had me thinking "Come fly with me"

Quoting.." Jackie, did you mean the parallel drip watering hose on the ground, at the bottom of the sea view ? "

Hm Bubble, is that a hose on the sand at the top? I have often seen miniature railways running alongside seaside views here in UK..but maybe not that high..but it would be a smashing view, if that was what it was...

MaryTX

Don and Bubble, I thoroughly enjoyed all the pictures.  As Jack said, please continue to send them.

Is the rainwater collected in cisterns or catchment ponds and then dispersed to the flowerbeds etc through the drip hoses?  From a distance, they do look like train tracks for a miniature kids train.

Don and Bubble......thanks so much for the very interesting places you have shown us.  Nice to be able to travel along with you.  Some sights that most of us here will never have the opportunity to see in person.  Love the  "internet travels".

Continue  to share your visit with us.

Bubble, Don the flower garden, pansies,, were impressive.  If I am not mistaken the Israels were the folks who came up with drip irragation, used in their farming and fruit crops.  You are obviously having a ball.

Bubble, the photos are lovely and I am enjoying seeing the sea and above all the sun and warmth pervading your photos! Aviv is so cute and his mother's hair is exactly the color and curls my older sister has except she has about a pound more hair than your daughter,  ;D

I'm sure you and Don are enjoying your time together!

JeanneP

Don and Bubble.  Some good photo'S. You are really out having fun days. all the area looks so nice.  How I miss seeing a sea.
Looks like Don bought a new cap. looks good on him.  Sun must be out. Do you have to drive to those places or are they close to where you live?

I am admiring that beautifully clear and calm sea...
That wouldn't be your getaway yacht in the background, would it?  ;)

I would enjoy walking through the flowerbed garden...

JeanneP

Jackie.

I was thinking the same thing. That was the two of them heading on back home on the Yacht.  Don at the wheel.  Wearing his new cap.

Pouring down here. Have to go to a appt. down town where the parking is so hard to get close to the building.  Never fails. always rains when I go there.
Not cold though so can't complain

Was always a great day for me growing up in UK. Best time for my grandmother. It is  Known as Shrove Tuesday where you had to use up all certain things like butter and lots of things such a bacon, meat. etc.  So lots of Pancakes done and my Gran. did for the whole area it seemed.  Then was Ash Wednesday. Start of Lent
So not many sweets made my her for a month. (We had to cheat and buy at the shops) My father did not follow lent. Just mums side. Dad had his own days where not to do certain things. Just growing up. He ignored them later.

Wonderful photos, Don & Bubble..... I'm always soaking up each photo because the landscape is so different from what we read in the geography books (long ago) about the area.  Is there any of the "old world" left or everything as modern & gorgeous as the beach & surrounding?  I'd love to visit but no highway to drive that RV to bring the cats.  Send more photos!!!

Isn't that pose just like that of a Greek statue?

He said he was Superman getting ready to fly (after a shower!).

Love the photos, Bubble & Don.  My oldest son had that curly hair & looked a lot like your "little darlin'".... he is a cutie & I agree that he looks like a Greek god statue in that pose.  My youngest brother put on a towel one day & was ready to jump off the 2nd floor back porch when Mother caught him.  I wasn't there at the time but she never got over the fright.  Handsome dude waving at the camera..... it is nice to have someone our own age to hang out with, isn't it?  Awesome waves & beautiful beaches.  The water is so blue........

angelface555

Bubble, I am enjoying all these photos! It does gives me an idea of where you live and what it is like! Thank you! And yes, Aviv is such a boy!  :)

jackwv

I was just 7 or 8 when Superman first became popular.   I would attempt a short jump with a towel around my neck but never tried to jump off a building.   I did not get much practice, was fortunate to even get into the bathroom, with 6 sisters.

JeanneP

What great shots of both your men. You will never get don in just a towel. did Greek gods ever havebeards ?
Now what kind of a chair is that don is using? Does he walk behind it?
JeanneP

Lindancer

Bubble, thanks for all the great photos.

JeanneP that really isn't a chair, but  rather a walker. But it sure comes in handy for something to sit on when out walking

Radioman34

For those who who choose not to use the lift there is this broad stairway that takes you to the beach from the foot of the city square

There is even an outdoor gym almost at the water's edge.
