Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Thank you, Jean.  I haven't talked to the parents to see if the girls went trick or treating.  I think they live in a "young" neighborhood, so it might be possible.

Cold and rain, bored.   Guess I will do a puzzle  :)

Cute!
Is that tomato soup?... That is good when it is cold and dreary.

SCFSue

MaryAnn, your twins are "Way Cute!".  They have certainly grown since the first pictures you posted--and they look more the same size now.  I seem to remember that one was a good bit larger than the other.  Thanks for posting the new picture.  The cotton ball hats are precious!

Sue

Mary Ann

Sue, thank you.  I think the cotton ball hats are cute too - different.  I don't know about the hats, but when the girls were born, people from their church gave them clothing their children could no longer wear.  That is probably why the girls aren't dressed alike, as in all of the clothes, there is always something that will fit.  Ellie is much more petite than Jo and Alicia says that will probably always be.  There is about a pound difference in their weights now and Ellie is shorter, maybe by an inch, than Jo.

I appreciate others posting pictures for me.  I should learn how, but I have so many other irons in the fire that something else would have to go.

MaryAnn, Oh! those are the cutest photos.  Bubble thanks for posting

Jack what great idea of the puzzle.

Mary Ann

Thank you, Gloria d.  It's been so long since we had a baby in the family, I forgot how cute they can be.  Annie was the last baby and she's almost 22 years old now.

Lin and Jackie, so you know,   that is not a real puzzle.   A free app on windows 10 named   PhotoFunia has many uses and one is taking a photo you insert and putting it into a photo to look like it is a jigsaw puzzle.   I just did one to again show you.   It is appropriate since  I never am able to get myself together  and you can see part of my brain is missing. :)   You simply put in the photo and one click, no work.

Temp only in mid 50's and frost this morning.   Made it to the park, some color but it was cloudy.  Two photos, the first is a metal sculpture of a bird in a tree, the second a few of the trees showing their color.

Love all the photos but JACK, I can't find the PhotoFunia!  I looked under Windows Accessories... where is it???

I am here every day, several times a day.... do not know where the time goes but always something waiting... like now, clothes in the washer waiting to be put into the dryer.   :-\

Mary Ann

Thanks, JeanneP, they grow up so fast, don't they?

Did get to the park, but then 2 football games and hockey later.   I took a photo of Mimi and did the paint effect.  Posting that photo and then the photo used in the Jigsaw app.

Hope you do not mind my posting in here, but want to encourage all of you to post your photos and possibly try some of the apps.

Jack, are 2 little ones following Mama looking for a drink?  Great shot, thanks for sharing!

Sue

Sue they were down the hill from me and keeping an eye on us.  Was funny how they walked in line.

jackwv

Fifty degrees and sun, so took our walk.   From the upper walk I saw activity on the small lake but was not about to take the long walk.  Here is a photo of my view and then I zoomed in on the lake from the same spot for the second photo.

Jack, it is remarkable what cameras can do today.  I know Mimi is happy to walk with you.  What a different life she has now.

In the slide show discussion I mentioned this  ------   Do not know if I told my story about "Almost Heaven'   My granddaughter was with her mother in Paris earlier this year.  At the foot of the Eifel Tower, there was an Asian street performer playing the guitar.  He tried Almost Heaven, had trouble with the lyrics and my Granddaughter from West Virginia stepped up and joined him.  He was pleased as were the tourists

I had a short video, too large to post, but here is a photo taken from the video..  Small world isn't it.

Mary Ann

Jack, I'm glad you were able to post a picture from the video.

Great story Jack and good memory picture too!

Radioman34

That is truly a heart warming story.

...I can only agree....a gesture where both got something from of it...the man who felt his singing and playing was perhaps falling on deaf ears to the passer by's, and your gran-daughter who proved him wrong...

I wanted to let you know I received an e-mail from Sato, saying his health is preventing him from posting.  He wants to be remembered by everyone.  I sent him an e-mail telling him what little I knew about some of the people who post in here.

Sato, so sorry to hear about your health problems. Hope you can get well soon and come back to us.
