Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Before I forget to mention, Don, one time I was eating Quaker cold cereal & as I lifted my spoon I realized that sugar coated lump was a BUG that had been dried into the cereal.  Never bought that kind again but did put the coated bug on a paper towel to dry and into an envelope and mailed back to Quaker with the note, "Now I know what that Quaker man was smiling about".  The bug didn't get into the box anywhere but the factory because it was cooked into the sugar coating.  Never did hear back from them.

Love all the photos and can't get over how different what YOU see is to what we've read about and see in the news.  What a wonderful place........  So nice to see how happy your days are.  :smitten:

Patricia, I'm on my way!  I know you won't mind sharing room with cats.

Don (and Bubble), what a lovely location.  I could look at that out my window all day.

Shirley, the bug would have added some protein to your breakfast.

Not much comes out of food factories that don't have something in it. Impossible to not in such as flour mills etc. Just to much is canned and packaged. Always watch bagged potatoes .fruits. Good for spiders.

Don. Now those look like nice Flats. Is that were Bubble lives or a area you visited.?

Beautiful pictures !   Looks like such a pleasant place.  Agree that it is a different kind of place than what most of us know about that area.  Looks like a very nice place to live.  So happy that you share your trips with us.  Gives us a whole different feeling about that part of the world.

Thanks for your pictures.  I never imagined such beautiful foliage and buildings.  So serene.

Bubble and Don, I loved the photos.  However, isn't there a law there about "public displays of affection"  (tee hee!).  It looks as if you're having a wonderful holiday together--and the sunshine is fabulous!

Again such interesting and very unique photos! I've spent some time debating whether the tree behind you two is real or a sculpture.

Just a change of subject momentarily,  I want to draw your attention to a vital service that Bubble provides to the very large French community here in Netanya. For several years she has operated a French language lending library providing books in French to her many clients who have "come home" to Israel. For the nominal fee of 40 shekels a year (30 shekels = 1$)she maintains a continuous supply of French publications. These pictures show her and her childhood friend from her days in the Congo taking care of business

Thanks Don, I was aware of the library but not of these particulars. Bubble is special and it's nice you two found each other!

Lindancer

I would also like to add Bubble is a special lady. What a wonderful idea, Thanks, Don for the photos. Very interesting.

Bubble, so many talents.   Don , not sure in your case, from Canada, if you speak French.

Radioman34

Jack even though French is an official language I do not speak it.  If I were to apply for job in the civil service today it would be mandatory which is why many folks in my age category resent having it shoved down our throats

Don we only visited Niagara Falls and Toronto several times.  Questioned whether we could handle Montreal.   Loved Toronto, and a last trip was to see Phantom of the Opera.   Now I do not even have papers to travel out of US, that for me is not a problem.

JaneS

When my youngest daughter was first married she lived in Montreal.  My first grandchild was born there so I never questioned whether I could "handle" Montreal.  I went!  My daughter loved the city as did I and now my grown up grandson lives there on his own.  We can do anything if we want to.

My congratulations to Bubble for her industry.  She is providing a service to people who need it we are all proud to be her friends.
