Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

SATO, I too am enjoying the flowers and I'm happy to see YOU posting!  I've missed your photos.

I have this picture of JUNE hanging in my office for inspiration.  She's like the energizer bunny, she just keeps on going!

Shirley

Thank you Amy & Bubble for posting the photo of "Our June".  Certainly an inspiration, keeps me wondering if I can be so active 10 years from now.  I doubt it, pretty sure that I will never be as gracious or charming OR look so good!  I do believe "attitude" is a big part of OUR GIRLS in their 90s that show us how to grow up. I really like your hair cut, June...

Sato, you have a knack for pulling out colors and blending them together like a painting.  Absolutely gorgeous.

Jean, I've been to beaches along that coast and never saw anything like that... amazing the changes 10-15 years can make. Could be you know where to look?  May be a dumb question, but are all those umbrellas "planted" along the water edge permanently?  Maybe rentals owned by a company (city)?  They look so well organized, neat.........

FlaJean

Actually, our beach didn’t seem crowded at all to me, but my preference in beaches is the fall when the tourists are gone.  I don’t go in the water but just like to walk along the water and enjoy the sea air.  The white finely ground quartz crystal sand is not found anywhere else in the states (according to info on the Internet).

Shirley, when we went last fall, the chairs weren’t there.  My guess is that they are rented and/or provided by the hotels that line some of the beaches.

MaryTX

Jean, your pic reminds me very much of South Padre, except the sand wasn't as pretty.  At sunrise, a company sets out rows of umbrellas as far as the eye can see along the beach and at sundown, removes them.  When Cathie lived in Harlingen, she and a group of friends went there nearly every weekend.

Thank you Bubble and Jenny for getting my picture posted. Janie, I can't imagine anyone wanting to print and hang it....eeek ! But thank you for your kind message.

Bubble, Is there a place where I can go to learn how to send pictures to you  to post? I have dozens I would like to share if I knew how. Thank you for being there for us. June

June, the simplest way would be to have them visible on your desktop and then drag them with the left click of your mouse into the body of your mail to me.
Dont forget to write in the subject line: for posting on S&F.

More beautiful flowers, thanks Sato.

Mary Ann

Sato, in the house where I grew up, we had a pink Rose of Sharon, similar to the one you posted.  I miss the tree but not the mess below when the blossoms fell off.  Of the two  you posted, I prefer the pink, but the white is beautiful too.

Mary Ann

FlaJean

Sato, both are so pretty.

Shirley

Beautiful photos, Sato....  I have 2 small plants of the Rose of Sharon, no idea what color, to transplant to my front yard either this fall or next spring.  We had a large white bush when I was growing up.  I always wondered if the Rose of Sharon was "kin" to hollyhocks, as well as the hibiscus plant.  I've never heard of or seen the bush clover.

angelface555

Sato, again such delicate and beautiful photos!

June Drabek

I need basic help in how to post photos. I know absolutely nothing, not even how to send things to Bubble. I there someone out there that can take this photo kindergartner in hand and lead me through Basics  one ????????

June, is there someone where you are at who can show you how to put one of your photos in an email?

What I do is I have a photo folder in My Pictures that I use and store my photos in. However, you have an Apple, not a Windows system, so you need someone who is familiar with Apple operating systems to assist you and have them write it down or place the instructions on your Apple computer for reference.

Lindancer

Sato, so flowers are lovely.  I had a neighbor, who planted a Rose of Shann in my garden, when I moved here 35 years ago.  Do you know I still have it, she is long gone, but in the Spring I look at it and think of her.
