Oldiesmann: Relevant links can be found in topics in the Homemaking, Food & Garden board. I'll see about moving them over to articles here when I get a chance.

Oldiesmann: Found them. They're on the CP site: https://www.christianphotographers.com/recipes/recipeindex.html

Oldiesmann: I'm not finding anything related to recipes on the site. I'll do some digging through the Internet Archive and see if I can dig them up. It's possible that got lost in the big server crash back in 2016

Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Oldiesmann: The chat can be accessed from the menu but I don't kow how often anyone is in there

Joy, thanks for mentioning Jack.  I've been so busy trying to do things right that I haven't had time to miss anyone.  I'll send him an e-mail to make sure everything is OK.

Joy

Thanks , MaryAnn.  I just realized that this morning,  that I hadn't seen anything from him/

I did send Jean from FLorida a private message. I sure hope she will figure out the new format and come  back.  She and her nice pictures and videos will surely be missed.

Joy, I haven't heard from Jack, but it's possible he's visiting his son or daughter for the holiday.

..." Few new ones, ( photos ) tried several times and no luck. Keep getting small print. Wish Oldiesman would post several screen shots with directions. Possibly a new discussion just for instructions. Keep just getting small print. Have not given up but will just keep checking  in...Thanks for checking.."

Okay, Jack, see if this works for you, before you start to type (has to be below that "Add image...line, look up at the line that starts with the B (for Bold)... go over to the middle part of that line where all the little colored squares are, mouse under & it says "Font color".. click on the color you want. Move curser LEFT to the next (mouse under says Font size), click whatever you want, I am using 3. Move next left is Font name, I use "Arial"... slide all the way left & click on the B for bold. Now your curser is bouncing in the middle of all that code so just start typing. If you stop to go correct something make sure you stay in that spot between codes. I did get that photo into the gallery & not at all sure how it happened, but it worked.  You are way smarter than I am but it just takes something to click in our way of thinking. Something Oldiesmann said over in the Soda Shoppee worked for me, doesn't mean I don't forget along the way, but I'm working on it.  I even got that photo resized with the newer PSP & am anxious to try it again, see if I can accidentally get it right again.

Wonderful picture, Shirley. How old is the youngest little great-grandchild?  Doessn;t look like there aren't any more babies now!!!

Shirley, I'm glad you reposted your message because it was hard to read, but I did!  I'm glad someone heard from Jack; he said he reads the posts so he knows what we are doing.

Jack, like everything else, you will get many suggestions on how to write your message and have it big enough to read.  Here is my way:

Write your message and highlight it, click on B; highlight again, click on the A with the red line beside it and click on whichever size you want (many of us use 4); highlight again and click on the color icon and choose whichever color you want.  I think if you don't choose a color it will automatically be black.  I know it's repeating, but it works for me.

Jack responded to my email...seems he had been having problems with the sizing of his photos..

Joy

Thanks for checking on Jack.  I am sure he will figure it all out sooner or later.  Sure don't want to miss any pictures of his "girl".

MaryAnn,  I was doing writing my messages like you are doing.... but after trying what Larry suggested, it goes a lot quicker and very easy.  I click on the "B".....then go over to the font size and click on "4"  and then the little colored squares, I click on the blue.  The cursor is blinking in between and you just start typing right after where the cursor is blinking. It saves having to go back and forth highlighting.  I know you said you were going to continue doing it your way, but when you have a few spare minutes,  just try doing it the other way.  ( not minding my own businesss) LOL

SHIRLEY, that's a great photo and a wonderful family!  You are so fortunate to have them all so nearby and you must have done something right to have them so loving!  Cherish them forever!

I noticed Jack is missing.  I think Sato is also!

Okay, I tried going from left to right & works just the same.  ::) .. About the great grands, two just turned 2 years old (one this week & the other a month ago), the youngest is just a year old & has a 4 year old brother. Oldest is 7 & he has 2 sisters. The 2 red headed kids have a red-brown haired mother & black haired father. (Both grandmothers say that red hair comes from their side of the family.)The girl with the long blond hair is my youngest gr-daughter. "They come in all sizes & colors!" One family lives in Seattle & another in St.Louis, but they love to get together. In case you are afraid to try, Jack posted a link online to resizing photos (don't have it right now), but once resized to these standards, that link to "Add image..." works slick as a whistle!
I need to clean the kitchen & put away food. Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks all, and Joy tried your suggestion, it worked, now for posting a photo.

And Mimi even turned her head the same as the reindeer!
Good job, Jack! We had above 60degrees today & again tomorrow, think Sunday into Monday we stand a chance of rain-snow (if we're lucky).

Nice photo of Mimi Jack and I thought it looked familiar!

Bubble, would you be able to share with us the new coding to show our graphics and photos full size again?

so_P_bubble

Angel, I use the Attachments and other options at the bottom, drag the picture from my desktop and click on upload. The next window shows height and width that is optional.  I enter that because I have it on my PSP. I don't know how others would know the size...
This one I did without the numbers.  I'll try next with the sizes added.

Well only with the measures added does it show the real size. On the first one you need to click on the picture to see it big.  I suppose it is not a big deal.

angelface555

Bubble, do you use 650 for the longest side and then compress it to under 20kbs? Or has that changed?

Mary Ann

Pretty flowers, Bubble, such delicate colors.

Shirley

Gorgeous flowers, Bubble.... I bought some bulbs one year & think it was that kind, but nary a one came up. I really do not have a green thumb. We also have a lot of those critters that dig tunnels under the ground & eat the roots of plants & grass. How's the car shopping going? Did you see the photo of my great grandson that's about Aviv's age? I think he inherited his father's long legs, he is my tallest gr-son at 6'4".

Shirley

Forgot to mention that I just ordered the latest version of PSP for Windows 10 from Amazon, I dread trying to figure it out but am determined to find a way to play with photos again. Hope I didn't make a mistake, a Black Friday special but could have bought it at other places with proof of having previous versions. My internet is too slow to try to download online.

jackwv

Good one Bubble and trying to post full size photo, this from last year, deer on the field in front of a light display.
