Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Sorry, must have dropped reminders for this, my favorite discussion.  Don and Bubble, great to see you together again, and keep the photos coming.

Don...

Wonderful photos of the two of you out and about! I envy you that Mediterranean sun! Enjoy your time together!

Mary Ann

Don, great pictures of you and Bubble.  We are having sunshine today, but I know we are not as warm as you are there.  Cute little doggies.

Don. You are looking well rested already. Enjoy the next 3 months. Look forward to lots of photo's.
That just staying a set time must be in all countries now. I think the US have cut to less. I know one friend whose sons father is Italian. Use to come about 3 times a year. Now only allowed 1 month a year. Boy just now goes to Italy for the summer.

Fla Jean that tree is beautiful!!! I can't wait to see our Flowering Crab tree this year, hope it is full of blossoms.

Jack ,thank you there was Mom and her twins, Mom was off in the bush keeping an eye on her babies.

Shirley, n/p I could have sat for hours watching those two play.Doesn't take much to amuse me. :)

Gloria De love your new avatar..and you may please keep your snow. We are down in places to bare ground here. I know we will pay dearly for this beautiful weather we are having right now.

Don/Bubble love the photos and the one of the pooches too. What is the temperature there now?

Lindancer

Jean, is that a tree or a bush. Just beautiful

Bubble you and Don look great together.  thanks again for posting

Patricia, now you see why I got frighten when Taffy got out the front door, I am that close to the road, and some people do not drive slow.

I am so tired I thought I'd better sit down or might trip over my tongue.  Been busy ALL day, mostly working with the RV (gas & slide out to clean & put "stuff" back in for the next trip.  Gave it a head to toe wash on the outside, that is a chore and then watered the little trees we planted last summer.  SO dry.  Picked up my new glasses, not quite what I ordered but will try for a while.

Your new avatar is really nice Gloria de...... We would love to have had your snow... now the word is the "winter wheat" is dying in some areas around here, from lack of moisture.

Don & Bubble, such great photos, you do make all of us happy as we join in your hugs & smiles.

Jean, I know you have good weather but really, that is almost unbelievably beautiful!!!  Here we are with our brown grass & a few buds starting to swell up and tips of the jonquils peaking out of the ground, and they will probably freeze, too early for blooms.

Took my almost, daily walk to day.  Great to have a companion that always wears a smile.

Jean, lovely tree! I have never heard of that variety.

Gloria, you are right to keep Taffly safely inside.

Jack, Mimi always is charming!

Lindancer

Jack, what a lovely picture of your beautiful companion.

Amy, that was the snow we got when they said we would only get a dusting. :o

Gloria thank you, and she loves people.  When we walk she wants to visit everyone then sits and lets them pet her.  Kids love her since she does not jump, just sits and lets them feel her ears and pet her head and she never licks their face.  My only problem is getting her away to continue our walk.

Lindancer...
...similar to our this mornings snow scene...it has finally reached here...

Flajean...
...a very pretty tree, a name I have not heard of before...

Jack wv...
...now is it my imagination but does Mimi look fatter to me? if so, you must be feeding her well...or maybe time for the groomers to shed some of her fur...she does look very cuddle-able, I could give her one of my cuddles quite easily...I love your choice of setting...

big Chinese Fringe is a real treat for the eyes!

Mimi is adorable, I wish I was nearer...

Hope Mimi has not gained weight.  See the Vet next week. She had just had a good brushing out by a groomer and I do not have them trim, I like the long feathers.

FlaJean

Most gardening nurseries call the Chinese fringe flower (Loropetalum Chinense var. rubrum) a bush.  They can grow up to 10 feet tall.  Our neighbor in Ocala had several but kept them trimmed and they didn’t flower.  The flowers are a delicate fringe of pinkâ€"very pretty.

Jack, I Always enjoy seeing photos of Mimi.  What a sweet girl.

angelface555

Thanks, Jean, it is a very large, tall "Bush."

Shirley

If I could only find a sweet girl like Mimi I would jump at the chance!  You think Mimi would tolerate cats?  I would have a hard time getting anything done if I had a Mimi to hug and walk.   :smitten:

Tiger was so upset with me she hid out this morning .... didn't show up for breakfast until nearly noon!!!  Tom & Callie had their breakfast & went on outside before 9:00 am and to tell the truth, I was getting concerned about Tiger but afraid to go search.  They have the run of the basement, lots of rooms down there, plus the family room/kitchen, utility room & bathroom off that... so too many places to hide.  I know she heard me call, I even whistled.... she was pouting.  She likes to sleep by my head ON my pillow or crook of my arm.... that is okay in the RV but I don't get a sound sleep like that.  Old LaurenKat had that "prime" position in the RV so Tiger was jealous.  Tom always has preferred to back up to my legs so between the two, I don't move all night, or sleep sound.

jackwv

Shirley when I went to look at Mimi she was surrounded by adult goldens and two cats.  I had one cat up behind my shoulder and scratching for attention.  I would pet her and when I stopped she would scratch again for attention.  I loved it and would keep on scratching.  Mimi does the same thing, and apparently got along with cats.

SCFSue

Jean, I keep my lorapetalum cut back to about 5 feet tall.  Taller than that and I can't trim it myself.  It's in full bloom already which is strange as we've had the coldest winter since I moved up here in 2004!  It usually doesn't start blooming until late march.

On Friday Bubble and I ventured to the jam-packed city square to take part in the Shoshan Purim  celebrations, and what gorgeous day it was! Thousands of people converged on the centre, and Bubble in her Santa hat and I in in full Santa regalia were warmly greeted. Security was, as expected, high, but the security personnel were in good spirits and occasionally posed for selfies. One striking photo I took was of a mom and her daughters, the children in their costumes and she in her army uniform fully armed with an automatic weapon.

This young gentleman is carrying the Torah Scrolls.  What he is wearing represents the covering  for the Torah. The Torah itself would have a crown on each end, and he is wearing the crown. This is a very creative costume.
