Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Shirley, too far to drive, but I would be there to eat when you whistled.

so_P_bubble

well, I don't whistle but when I sing "Food, Glorious food" you can see Don getting up from his comfy armchair and heading for the kitchen!!!

jackwv

Bubble, I had to take a look at an Oliver video and listen to "food glorious food"  Would like to hear your version. :)

The only sound from my kitchen is my tearing open a box of frozen food, or the can opener.   I do air fry steak and chicken.   Mimi will eat anything I put in her bowl, just like my old Jessie and Zoe in this photo.

Jack, drop in and you will hear my version... ;D

Shirley

Bubble, they are catfish & do have "whiskers".... they really are much larger than they look in the photos.  One in particular opens his mouth so wide he could swallow one of the others.  I do believe you that Don will come a running when the dishes rattle.  For sure food tastes better when shared than eating alone.

Jack, I automatically checked to see which one was Zoe.... (on the right?)  Thanks for sharing them with us, I sure
miss having a dog.

jackwv

Bubble would love to drop in, but will not happen, very limited travel.

Shirley, right as usual that was Zoe on the right, miss the two of them but Mimi is a perfect fit.

Amy

That is amazing Shirley, thank you for posting the photo. Now for those that think animals are dumb had better thing again. Shirley the Catfish Whisper...

It's a beautiful day in Netanya, so what better time to explore the seashore than now. We weren't sure if I would pass as a flower child, so you be the judge,  There isn't enough hair on top so we tried the beard instead.

Sharing your joy!  We all need some smiles and a laugh or two.

Shirley

Okay, Bubble, I was wondering if y'all were setting a good example for the young'uns.   ;)   Love seeing you both so happy and dancing in the streets!  Yes, Don, you make a perfect flower child!

Amy

Bubble and Don ,not only there were the people enjoying you but here also. Your happiness is spreading world wide. Smiling here!!!

Jack,my Golden girl will also eat  anything. Cauliflower, cabbage, beans carrots, apples ,oranges  bananas. She doesn't shy away from any food!! She is having trouble with her hind end and at times needs help to get up or turn onto the other hip. Taking it one day at a time with her and thankful for what I do have.

Amy I would check with your vet.  Medications like Dasuquin  did wonders on two of my old goldens.

Jack, it was so nice to see photos of Zoey and Jessie once more!

Bubble and Don, it is wonderful to see you two enjoying your time together!

Amy

Good morning

Jack ,thank you I shall mention this to my vet. I am giving her Glucosamine,Chondroitin with MSM plus salmon fish oil and a 1/4 tsp of turmeric a day. Vet gave me pain pills for her and she gets 1/2 every other day. Old age is not for the faint of heart be it man or beast.

Things are winding down now and the packing has begun in preparation for my departure four days hence. Our activities have been curtailed slightly, but our main indoor actvity has been a board game called Rummikub. It's fascinating game, invented in Israel, involving simple logic and the requirement to overcome those surges of frustration this game engenders. Get it
if you can.

Don...
...not familiar with the game but I can see that your concentration is occupying your mind, hopefully taking the distraction away from your soon to be, returning journey home...

...by the way, who was winning?... ;D

Don and Bubble,  that is one of my favorite games here in the US.   Did not know that it was invented in Israel.   It is one of popular games played at a lot of the Senior Centers in my area.  Unfortunately,  it hasn't caught on that good here at the place I live.  But, a big group at a similar place where my friend lives play every evening and several groups play during the afternoons.  It is a fun game.

Don, Sorry that your stay with your beloved is coming to an end.   I know those hours have just flown by.   Have a safe trip back home.

I cannot believe your time is up already,

That game has been popular here for years and there about 4 or 5 tables that play at the pool.  Some use to play cards, but they would blow away, now it is Mexican train or rummikub

Again, three more great photos and slices of life, Don, and Bubble! I have played Rummikub for years along with gin rummy that I believed it to be derived from. I didn't know it was from Israel!

Notice to all:  Don's computer just gave up and he cannot post anymore.  So more photos will come when he is back home, after Wednesday.

Bubble - poor Don!  He'll just have to use your computer to communicate!

Don and bubble. That 3 months seems to have gone by so fast. Have a safe trip home.
Now I brought that game of Rubi cube back from UK on last trip. I like the game but don't know anyone who had even heard of it here.
