Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Angelface, yes I sure did not understand...I certainly did not read between the lines...guess I was focusing on those innocent honey bees...and not the full story behind behind it...Thank you for putting me straight...

Sue, I do not recall ever seeing Bob's photo.  Guess we both have too many happy memories to dwell on any bad times.

SCFSue

Jack, Bob took all the pictures--I've never done that and wish I had taken some of him.  I do have a few that our boys took and other friends who took pictures when we got together.  He's been gone since 2002 and I still miss him every day.  I know you feel the same way about Shirley.  We were blessed to have them as long as we did.

Good afternoon

Sue I think i have wrote this before, my husband was born in Alex, City. Ala..and I also was lucky to have him so many years. I have a picture of us taken 11 years ago. I will see if I can put it in here.  Our son graduated from the Citadel, He would have been 71

Shirley

Gloria de..... hugs to you tonight, we never forget our kids birthdays and know how it must hurt.  Quite a nice accomplishment to have graduated from the Citadel. Many years ago we had a neighbor whose daughter worked at the Citadel, they thought it was a very special place to work.

Sue, I'm the one always behind the camera and am shocked when I am in a photo, not at all what I thought/think I look like!

Jack, you have come up with some amazing photos/ fake magazine covers, etc.

Now this photo really has put a smile on my face...have you ever seen anything cuter or more adorable, dont you just want to give her a cuddle?

JaneS

Good Morning and thank you BUBBLE!  I think I know what I have to do to send you pictures now.  Believe me, there will be more.  I've been practicing on AMY!

Yes, JACKIE, I do want to cuddle her every time I see a picture.  But she's half a continent away and I have to content myself with pictures.  I told my granddaughter that she has to send me AT LEAST one picture a week until I die and she has to tell Emma every day of her life that GG loves her and misses her.

Another granddaughter is in town today for the public sale at her other grandfather's house.  I've been designated by daughter to attend the sale with her.  No one was allowed to take anything from the estate before the sale and there are things that my SIL remembers most of his life and would very much like to have.  We have a list!  Thank goodness, it's not going to be a HOT day.  Temps are only supposed to get into the high 70s today.

I hope you all have a great day!

Please JaneS and anyone else: I will gladly post pictures, but PLEASE put in the subject line "For posting in S&F".  Thanks

I get so many images for Paintshop in my mail, that they could easily go to my PS waiting file.

Hard to imagine that we were one once...I wonder if I was so cute?... :crazy2:  blue eyes and blonde hair...well ok I still have the blue eyes... ;)

angelface555

Jackie, at that age I was a  blued eyed, red headed baby with eyes going opposite directions! :)

I had my first eye operation in two years. Until then I could see both ends of the room without moving my head...

FlaJean

A precious baby picture.  Such a special smile.

Jane, she's a darling!  No wonder you're so smitten!

I was a towhead when I was young, then it went to light brown or dirty blonde and now my hair is very white.

Jane, what a beautiful, and that is is 9weeks.  wait till she start to giggle at you.  I agree with Jackie, you just want to cuddle her

Jane it is rough when the children are so far away.  two of my grands grew up in Mass. Dennis was in the AF so they were station all over the world . One day I got a call from my son saying: one of the officers he knew wife in S.dakota was coming over. If I could meet her in JFK airport we could travel together. I said yes, I had not seen Jesse in 10 m0nths.  I said I would walk on water if I had the chance.  I ended up  a month in Turkey, at Christmas time

Thanks, everyone for the nice comments about my Emma.

Bubble, I'll be sure to have a warning in the subject line.  I got so excited when I realized it was going to go that I forgot everything else.

Shirley

Aw, Jane, that is one cutie pie!  My goodness, she looks like she is ready to talk to someone!  She actually looks like a little like YOU!  Thanks for posting, Bubble.... so thankful you are pitching in with so many of the helpers no longer able to help!

Patricia, my niece had her eye worked on very young as well but not soon enough to save the sight.  She had the "sleepy" eye and they did the patch over the good one thinking that would work, but it didn't.  So young and no way to explain what is going on, I'm sure it was upsetting to you and your parents.  From what my mother told me years later, I was set for surgery to open a tear duct that didn't open and the night before it opened on it's own.  Scary raising kids, huh?

The tulips are gone and new plants taking their place with hanging baskets just starting to bloom.  This photo is of a long trellis that they placed baskets on this year.  The plants are herbs they use at the lodge.

Shirley

What a neat idea, Jack, those baskets on that trellis.  That will be gorgeous as those baskets keep on blooming.  Looks like the herbs are well protected from deer & rabbits or anything else that might taste them.  Probably smells really good if you can get close enough to that fence.

Jack, very nice! There are many local, on a smaller scale, of course, raised planting beds enclosed in eight-foot cages here to keep out the moose.

Sato, I love your flower photos, such beauty!/size]

Destin Beach on the Gulf of Mexico about 8 miles or so from us.  It is as beautiful as the picture.

FlaJean

Thanks, Angel.  The sand is so different than most beaches and it feels good when you walk in it (unless it is too hot).

FlaJean, beautiful but so crowded.  It feels like in an army parade, each allotted just that much space on a row!
