Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Beautiful photos, Sato.  Thank you for posting them--you're a great photographer!

JeanneP, where have you been?  I haven't seen a post from you in Bosom Buddies in a long time!  I miss you!

Short walk this evening.  This is a photo of an umbrella shaped frame that they hang pots under, nice idea.

Another photo from this evening.  Strange but when I point the camera, this dog gets in the way.

Jack wv...
...you have yourself a stalker... ;D but a harmless and beautiful one...
...are those umbrella flower pots part of your Oglebay walk, or somewhere different while you were both out and about on your " short walk? "...Those flower displays must have taken a lot of time and effort...

Sato...
...I too am enjoying your " hobbies..."...Are all these flowers growing in your back garden?...

Jack, Mimi is so photogenic.
I enjoy all those flowers. So refreshing looking in the summer heat we have.

Shirley

Not sure which is the most beautiful, Mimi or those "hanging baskets", Jack.  Always wonder how on earth they manage to keep all those flowers watered.  Love it when you take walks.

Sato, you are so careful to include names of the flowers with your photos.  Thank you!  My mother was a Garden Club person that knew the name of every flower and also the "common" names.  I did not inherit her green thumb or memory for names!  Right now I am off to Google what the "Black Eyed Susan" looks like since that is what I've been calling the flowers growing along my front walk. I am not sure when I got them started but they spread their seeds where ever they please and I love 'em.

When I left a few friends yesterday they suggested I forget my walk, it was so hot and humid.  I needed to only walk in and be greeted with that lets go look, and still went to the park.  it had dropped to the mid 80's and a slight breeze.   The umbrella shaped plant holders were also at Oglebay.

Bubble thanks Mimi is a beauty and when I have her sit she is quick to give me that smile.

Posting for MaryAnn

These are seats owned by James and Alicia and they take them with them to restaurants and they also use them at home.

Both of these pictures were taken in February for the twins' first birthday.  They now are almost 15 months old.

Bubble, beautiful children and the seats are a great idea.

Mary Ann

Thanks, Bubble.  I appreciate your posting the pictures because I know you have other, more important things on your mind right now.

Jack, those seats fold up flat and are easy to take anywhere.  James and Alicia seem to have a system for packing when they go somewhere with the twins and it is very efficient.  I think the back folds down first, then the arms.

Sato, the amaranth is so vibrant and lovely--and the Chinese trumpet creeper is beautiful, too.  What kind of shrubs/trees/plants do they grow on?

Thanks for posting the pictures.

Shirley

Mary Ann, really unique chairs, don't think any of my grands/great-grands have discovered them yet.  Hard to tell which parent the twins look like because they have much the same features.  With my twin aunts I noticed in all photos from childhood on one twin would be looking direct into the camera and the other staring off into space... daydreaming.  One was always practical & the other looking for fun.  I see one of yours is staring at the "1" and the other is waving their "1" in the air.  My twin aunts were "mirror", one left handed & other right.... so they always sat next to each other at the table to "not bump elbows".  Love the photos.

Sato, you keep finding different flowers to show us. Beautiful color of the Chinese trumpet creeper and perfect background for it.

Mary Ann

Shirley, although the twins look much alike, they are fraternal twins - from two eggs.  I could see some resemblance to Tim, Tom's older brother, in Ellie, who has straight red hair.  With both parents having red hair, we expected the girls would have red hair.  Jo has curly hair and that seems to be from our family, although Tom's former wife has hair with body too.  Alicia thinks Jo favors her family, but I think she looks much like James did as a youngster.  We shall see as they get older.  I think one of the girls has a tendency to be left handed, but we aren't sure yet.  Tom is left handed and his maternal grandmother was left handed.  I don't know of any lefties in our side of the family (Norm's and mine), however, I really don't know.

Sato, what lovely flowers--and you must enjoy the public park for planting such beauties!  Thank you for posting these pictures.

Sato, nice photos.  I can remember years ago in my mother’s flower gardens we always had what we called “Scarlet Sage”.  Nowadays more colors are available but I like the red best.

angelface555

Sato, so lovely and it must be wonderful to be able to walk among such beauty.

Sato

Jack, Sue, Jean, Angel, thank you so much for your kind words. Glad to hear your messages in summer heat that is the most in this season.
