Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Bubble, your  little booties are so pretty !  I have tried knitting,  but just find it a lot slower than crocheting.  However, I like the looks of knitted baby things better than crocheted ones.  Although, I do crochet baby afghans.  Just think for baby clothes,  the knitted ones are prettier.   I have tried knitting, but just can't really get into it.

Sato, your flower pictures are beautiful.  You do such a good job in presenting them.

All of these, Sato's lovely flowers and Bubble's baby outfits make me think of Spring rather than the rainy dank day outside of my window!

Pat you have it right, the photos sure lift the spirit.   I can use some of that rain, but afraid you are too far away.

angelface555

Jack, if I huffed and I puffed and got all red in the face, I'm still not sure I could send it the 3,937.9 miles between us. However, I sure wish I could!

Pat I am unable to grasp that distance, but would seldom trade our weathers.

Jack, we are a dry climate similar to Arizona and usually little to no humidity. Unfortunately, your heat comes with a wet climate. I think we should stick with what we know.  ;)

Amy, Jane, and Shirley were, awhile back, discussing whether our pets are spoiled or much loved. I'm going with both!

Just remember this haul doesn't include her covered igloo shaped box nor some toys that are put away for supervised toys. The orange ring has various balls in the ring. The large blue tube has her kibble as vets say cats are happier working for their food and the green ring has a motorized mouse. The ball next to it has a battery operated feather on top and a wooden dish holds various ignored cat toys. The three bendy straws in front are the only things that currently hold her interest. I saw those on a foster cat cam.

Believe that shows Spoiled  and much loved.

I believe pets are our family.....and I'm sticking with that!  :)

It also shows that my SLR is much better than my attempts at a cellphone camera.

Bubble, lovely knitting.  I use to do a lot of crocheting but then I got a computer. 😁

Jack, always enjoy pet photos.

Sato, gorgeous mountain lily.

Angel, Nice photo of Farrah.  We used to have a miniature poodle who was also good at finding dirty laundry, especially socks.  A few years ago Larry’s brother was visiting and I told him to make sure he kept his bedroom door shut.  He didn’t and in the morning he couldn’t find one of his socks.  We looked all over the house and finally found it hidden under a couch cushion.

angelface555

Jean, that's funny!

I used to have a miniature schnauzer who was good at that game! I think its the favorite human scent that attracts them. It struck me that she jumped four feet, on top of the dresser and tray to get cozy.

Now back to the laundry I've been ignoring...

Mary Ann

I have a human who can lose things too.  Recently Tom washed my winter coat and interim coat.  It really was my fault that the gloves were left in both coats.  The pair in the winter coat were more expensive (but not too much so) than the cotton ones in the other coat.  Of course, it was the more expensive gloves where one is missing.  Both cotton gloves survived the washing.

Kendrick doesn't have as many toys as Farrah and I'm not sure he'd play with them anyway.  We had a white toy like the orange toy and I gave that to the girls  but found it's not a toy when more than one child is around.  That toy may have gone to a yard sale.

Shirley

Well, darn, I forgot to take my camera down to the river for a shot of the tiger lilies blooming .... sorry, will try tomorrow.  They are sure not as large or blooming as much as most years, lack of water.

Sato, that is a beauty!  Don't think I've ever seen that color before.

Bubble, when my daughter was born in England I felt like the worst type mother because I couldn't knit or crochet her baby "woolies" as my landlady called them  Undershirts that I had only seen made of cotton knit were so cute when hand made. The landlady had a friend that agreed to make a full batch of baby wear that included a little "sweater" like yours.  I saved & gave everything to my daughter through the years, don't remember what she charged, at the time I was having trouble converting the pounds to dollars in my head.

Patricia, my poor cats have a box of little toys that they never played with.  Old LaurenKat would play with Cas to keep him happy but she didn't feel she needed to entertain ME!  Tom :& Tiger don't play with toys but now & then Tom will discover a ball & chase it around the room until it goes under something. He eats, sleeps & wants outside or to be brushed.  Tiger does not like being brushed.

Jean, a boxer my son had used to eat underwear.....  yes, icky as it sounds, it showed up later when they cleaned the yard. I don't think it lived too many years & ever since he has had Great Danes.

Hi to all.... it's nearly 8:30 & I have not eaten "supper".... did this last night & woke up between 1:30-2:00 am hungry & finally got up & ate a sandwich... got on the computer & never got back to sleep until a nap this afternoon.  Less than 3 hours sleep for the 3rd time this week, not smart!

Unusual type of beautiful Cosmoses

Very unusual.  They look like folded silk paper flowers, very sophisticated too.

Joy

Bubble,  thanks for showing the crocheted jacket and boots.  They are pretty, but I just seem to like the knitted look of baby things.   I just think the crocheted items are looser looking than when they are knitted.  Just my opinion!!!  LOL    All of your items are very pretty !

Jean, I used to do a lot more crocheting than I have done in the past couple years.  I still crochet afghans and have been working on one now for a couple months.  Bought the yarn that I thought was pretty to make one for myself, but don't like it now that I have it started.  So, that makes me not very anxious to work on it.  I decided to make 2 smaller ones instead of a large one for myself.  I will eventually get them done and donate them to the Linus Project.  I haven't given many to them lately.   I do have 3 or 4 baby ones tucked away, in case I need a baby gift sometime.

Enjoy seeing your photos, Sato.  I’ve never grown any cosmos.  There are so many pretty colors.

Sato, you photograph some unusual flowers, ones I have not seen or heard of.

You have such a deft touch with your flower photos, Sato!

Now I know we have both pink and white flowering clovers here, but I'm not sure if it is the same varieties.
