Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

rain, high wind, dropping temps here, but bright sky in Eilat. Illy is there for three days on assignment from work. Lucky girl, she tells of bright sunshine.

Amazing photos and of course I had to look it up. Strange I've never heard of that spot and it is so interesting!  Whatever Illy's job is, a dream one it sounds like!  I am fascinated by the way you race around the world from your location. Love seeing where your kids go. I have a son that travels quite a bit & will send me photos now & then. Daughter did travel the world but retired now & never did take photos for me. Thank Illy and thank you for sharing your world.

RAMMEL

Funny what I notice. Even though I can see why it is Screw Hill, it is a left handed Screw hill.

Thanks Bubble for all the pic's.

Really is shocking to see how different our world is in a few short years, Bubble. How is Don doing now that Christmas is nearly here?  Does he still have his Santa suit? Thanks for posting that photo and for posting Jane's.

Aw, Jane, that had to be spectacular in person, it is gorgeous in the photos. We have the Arkansas (pronounce that "R-Kansas" when in Kansas) River behind my house that runs thru the downtown part of the city, not sure they have EVER put on such a show!

Thanks for sharing your photos!

JaneS

The pictures are great but it was lots better seeing it in person!  there was about a half mile of boats and we went to see them in the daylight and then went back after dark  it practically took my breath away!

Shirley, Don is doing as well as possible, but he lost his mobility totally and has to use a w/c or the walker for just a few steps. He is tired most of the time and very distracted in mind. The days are all the same, week ends or holidays not different.
So mostly he sleeps the days away.
He sees very little of the family.
Since Corona, there are no activities and nothing of interest in the home.
One can only feel sorry for the situation.

Good evening everyone. well here is a fourmila for colds/head or chest. given to me by a old drugest, years ago. and we keep some of it made and on hand  all the time in refrigator.formilua Is ( Honey burbon and lemoin, equal parts. My aunt would give me a "hot toddy" when I had a bad cold, chest or head cold. Didn't keep in refrigerator, but made it up as needed. Same ingredients: Honey, bourbon, lemon.  Wish I had one right now, although I don't have a cold.

While I was out of town last week, my 3 next door neighbors, husband, wife & son, all got sick with something terrible; sounds like flu to me.  Even on the local news tonight they were talking about lots and lots of reports of colds, etc. since the "family gatherings" for Thanksgiving.  Hope everyone here has avoided this new respiratory "thing"; be it flu, Covid, head or chest colds.

Thanks so much.  Sorry to hear Don is now "gliding"... I do think I could sleep a lot more if I had the chance!

And I am dead on my feet right now. Julie-Ellen arrived & setting up shop!  She has a zoom meeting at 8:30 in the morning so fixing her spot up. We have a busy day so I'm off for the jammies.... Sweet dreams & God Bless.

We didn't get nearly that much snow!  Please tell me it's "Canadian Snow"?

Click for Lewisburg,Pennsylvania Forecast

Jane, it is nasty to move and some won't move!  Wet,snowball snow that is going to stay right there till it gets colder and dries out some. Twice I have tried to move it, snowplow came by and dumped more in the driveway.I plugged my machine up :(  so it will stay till it becomes more managable...

I honestly can't decide between frigid temperatures or snow for being the worst, Amy. I believe both of us, & the majority, would probably love for this winter to be over with!

Don't you both love and hate those plows?

Joanie, too much hard work, as I remember!

Amazing photos!
