Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Jack, I remember seeing that before but enjoyed it again!

We have both a rescue group here for Goldens and a club for them, which are probably the same but I only know they are local as well as in Delta, 25 miles from here and also one in Anchorage, plus I'm sure a few more!

Jesse is maturing well, looks good!

JeanneP

jack ,do you think son will get another one of the big dogs? Poor little doxy. Will it be able to be boss over 2? I would like to have it now, right age, don't think I want to start with a new pup.

Glad Jessie had that removed. It did well last time. Fur grew back good. She is in good health that shows.

JeanneP

jack. Great show again.
Now I want getting a black screen on the previous ones you posted but after trying 3 times they Came up. Think at times Firefox is the problem when on desktop.

Patricia the local rescue is present at the gathering.  People looking for pups never have any luck, they are all spoken for.   Feel another at this time, at any age, would be too much for Jessie.

JeanneP   the little doxy would be up to bossing two.

FlaJean

Remember that video.  It's interesting to watch how the dogs act in a crowd.  Some are quiet, some noisily barking but they all seemed friendly.  Just like people in a crowd.  I guess I identify with Jessie--kind of quiet and watching what is going on.

Sachiko3

Jack, I remembered the video well and enjoyed it very much. I pray for Jessie being restored.

Lindancer

JackW, your sunsets are always beautiful
I agree with Patricia, that your Jessie is a great ambassador.  My son   golden, THt went every where he went Rosey went, he even took her on his honeymoon.  :)  My grandaughter got one when she moved to Knoxville,Tenn. in Sept.

Sachiko thank you, she is doing fine.

Lindancer, Jessie has never been boardered, she travels with me.  I got her several years after I lost my wife Shirley.   She got me out of the house and on the road with agility and has always traveled without a problem.   Laughed at your son taking his on his honeymoon.   This photo was taken several years back, at Dewey Beach Delaware.  Jessie is in front on the right playing with a pup.  The two behind belonged to a couple from the Baltimore area, on their honeymoon.

Jack wv, that is such a lovely photo to treasure,.....we moved recently near to the coast of Dorset UK, but so far our two dogs have not seen the sea, well they have but not been on sand YET, as soon as my Blue Badge, disabled parking badge arrives which should be any day now, I-we will make sure our Benji walks on sand and dips in the sea before we lose him, which vet told us could be as soon as two months time...depending....I must remember to take my camera along with me, these are the photos to treasure, aren't they? the happy fun loving days with our fur friends...

jackwv

Jackie, hope you are able to take Benji on that trip.   Agree the photos are a treasure.  I have so many I have been weeding them out, but still go back and view photos of my two prior Goldens.

I had a real problem for years viewing old photos of my my wife Shirley lost in 1998.  I now have many on the walls where I can view them daily.

Take that camera, I have both the iPhone and a camera that travels with me.

FlaJean

Jack, what a precious photo of the dogs enjoying the surf.

Jackie, I remember the PhotoPeach video you did sometime back of your dogs.  I'm trying to remember if Benji was white with brown spots?  All the dogs were pretty.

jackwv

Jackie, my thanks to Jean for the reminder.  I went into photobucket since I followed your shows and July 2012 you posted
The Rat Pack, and loved the 3 pups, your comments and the music.  You should post the link here or in slide shows.

Up to the park earlier this evening, the gardens are now full in bloom for the holidays.

Like the hanging baskets but found this interesting.  They had 5 containers under the wire frame.

Quiet now and the Cicada about gone.   Here is a photo of one tree, looks like it is decorated, but the brown ends will fall to the ground and start the next 17 year cycle.  They will not be missed.

Sachiko3

Jack, beautiful park! The hanging baskets are beautiful and interesting.

Lindancer

Jack, what a beautiful comforting place to just set,and dream. The colors are lovely

Jackie I feel so bad about Benji, they are our children. Hugs to you, I know you need them.

Sachiko and Lindancer thank you.  Oglebay park is just 5 miles from my home and for years we have driven to it for our almost daily walk.  Free and open to the public, a real gem for a small city.

Sachiko3

My husband went to his vegetables garden and harvested eggplants, kidney beans, one green pepper. I harvested the petit tomatoes in my garden.

angelface555

Sachiko, between you and Jack's great photos, I don't know if I want to move by Oglebay or to Japan!

angelface555

Sachiko3

Angelface, thanks a lot for your comment.
Please come to Japan. The climate is good, and the food is delicious, too.

Jessie and friends look happy!

jackwv

Patricia, that food Sachiko posts always is tops, plus what she would show us on her trips.   Like the mist  coming in on my photo, that you added.

Now Oglebay is special but you have so much beauty in both your areas.  I will continue to show local photos, till I hit the road with Jessie.

Joy

Jack,  beautiful pictures this morning from Oglebay.  As I have mentioned before, I sure would love to visit there.   Just can't get any of my family to agree to take me.   But, I will keep hoping.  LOL

Patricia,  you did a great job on Jack's picture of the dogs.  I like what you did.

I agree with all comments, Jean, she is lovely!

Jean.
A beautiful baby, looks like a smile on her face. Love the afghan colours did you make it?

Joy

Jean and Larry,  congratulations of the new great-granddaughter.   She is beautiful and  I, too, love the afghan.   So very different.

I know you have a great-grandson, so is this the first great-grand daughter?    Are they part of your family that lives near D.C.  I think I remember your having a son that lives in Silver Spring.

Hope you get to see her soon.
