Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Since some folks would like to see this started up again, let's give it a try.

Remember, if you provide an answer to a request you must request another subject.

Let's start off with

Show me a photo of a waterfall.

While the rules are that if you post a photo you are to make a request, I would suggest that lookers in that do not post photos, let us know things you may want to see.   Those posting photos might then respond to your suggestion.

MaryTX

Very good idea Jack.  I love to look at others pictures but I don't take pictures and wouldn't know how to post them if I did :).

I would love to see a fall scene when all the leaves are turning golden.

and autumn leaves ! :)

Give me  ... a tea cup or a coffee mug!

jackwv

Bubble a good one and with fall leaves.

Mary Ann

Jack, you sometimes say that you don't know the names of flowers, trees or birds.  I think your bird is a Cedar Waxwing, a fascinating bird (to me).

Show me a body of water  (pond, pool, lake etc)

jackwv

Pat that mug is too nice to drink from.   Jean that is quite a band.  I had just finished my photo to show someone the Vignette feature on windows app.

Shirley

Haha, love it!!!!  Rolling them in.  Great photos, everyone!

I was also going to say Jack's bird is a female cedar waxwing.  You got a better shot than most found on the internet.  I had a male one that someone brought for me to revive, it have been laying on the ground all day outside their office... I kept it a few days/week and turned it over to the city naturalist because we were going out of town. They were migrating through.  I made it a box with evergreen limbs, fed it apple & of course, scrambled egg & what ever fruit & meat I had on hand.  The bird would eat as long as I talked to it, didn't seem to be injured at all, hated to turn it over to someone else .... Sadly, I called when we got back & was told it died the next day... "but they took lots of photos of it".  That was NOT what I hoped for.

Jack, that vignette feature is awesome, will give it a try when I get a chance.  Another birthday party tonight so I've been doing what I can to help since everyone else is super busy today.

JeanneP

Always enjoyed the "Show me a photo off". time when I feel  bad that I just can't get photo's in here. Enjoy other peoples...

Good thought Jack has of if you can't post a photo then just make a request to SEE. Will give people that have lots of photo and so smart showing them a chance to post more.  Still can vote of the best photo . Will maybe vote after maybe a dozen instead of having to have a lot of the same thing. Will go fast.
JeanneP

jackwv

JeanneP   with the new post there is no competition and no voting.  That is the way I like it.   Just posting photos on request and hope all enjoy.

This is a common type of pond here that is made up of snow runoff, stays deep and then by late August has soaked back into the ground leaving only a grassy depression.

Lion at Pittsburgh Zoo

He was staring me down and you know I did not get close.  One of my favorites.

Give me a photo of tree

[attachimg=1]

Shirley

Patricia, how still that water is & perfect reflections of the trees!  Beautiful colors.  What kind of trees are those?

What camera did you use on the lion, Jack?  Very sharp fur & eyes.... even the foliage is sharp.   That is the type painting I enjoy most.. always start with the eyes & work out.  His fur almost looks like it's been brushed, doesn't it?  Is that his mate below right?  Was she pretty?

angelface555

Shirley, those were paper birch in the spring.

Jack, would I be able to use your photo on my PSP, (Paint shop Pro?). Terrific lion photo!

FlaJean

Vanilla-Jackie

Oh, I am sure enjoying these...

...Jack wv...I nearly spilt my cup of tea when I came face to face with your close up Lion at 6.15 am this morning...guess he-she was the last thing I was expecting but, what a great capture...

Pat, feel free to use the photo.   Jackie, it really was a stare down. Shirley I used the Panasonic prior to the 200.
Jean great and unusual trees.

I am posting the full photo of the lions in the photo discussion, you can see the value of having a good photo and being able to crop.

Now lets see Jeans request for a ball.

so_P_bubble

FlaJean

Bubble, your little grandson didn't leave a ball around the house?

so_P_bubble

No  - he was here today with a big balloon, but that is not a ball.
Don't you have one?

SCFSue

Show me a photo of a train.  I still love to ride trains to New Orleans to visit my son's family.
Sue

jackwv

Bubble here is a clip from a video I have of a Polar Bear playing with a ball.  Jump in, you would both have a ball :)
