Cotton Candy...I can read it...When replying - posting, to enlarge your on the large A with the red arrow to the left side, click on number 3 ( number 3 is my chosen choice ) although 4 if you wish to go higher...write in the centre of the two icons..
Patricia...cant answer your question as I haven't yet figured that one out..." quoting: Tell me again how this change benefits us?"  All I know is it seems to be infuriating many of our posters...we dont take kindly to change...even if change is meant to be progress and the way forwards...I think this proves we are creatures of habit, and prefer to stay with what we know...
Patricia...what I am finding most frustrating is when I click on email notification it doesn't bring me into the post...just an empty - blank piece of space...same as your above link..
If like me, you are finding you have been getting far too many topic email notifications...just found out how to cut them back..( well I hope this does the trick )....Click on your " name "- top left on " notifications "...where you see the " orange  notifications preferences " click on the " watched topics " button to the side, then the list of topics - rooms comes up, just tick in the box to the side of the red " receive emails and alerts " that you dont want to receive, scroll to the bottom, then click on the " unnotify " button, bottom right...hopefully your computers email box wont receive 50 plus unwanted notifications posts like I was receiving...
Oldiesmann...this is the email notification link sent to me of your post...but I see Bubble has already shown you this...It seems there are good and bad points to our new website page they say..." its swings and roundabouts..."

Some email notifications are now saying...

" You have been quoted in the post titled "Re: FYI: Upcoming site upgrade" by ( members name ) "

other notifications are stating...

" A reply has been posted to a topic you are watching by ( members name ) "

Neither bring me to the actual posting...Hm, maybe I need to adjust my notification preferences, otherwise I shall be getting too many notifications in my email box......
When I click on email notification of a post it doesn't bring me into the post like it did previously but, it brings me into a blank page showing shoutbox plus menu above with welcome home to our S & F's banner..but no posts underneath just a blank that cant be scrolled down.........

...yes, always be wary of what one wishes for....they often have a strange way of becoming real...this was a saying my late father had often said to me...

Larry Hanna...
...I miss those days back in Bedfordshire when we became annual members of our nearest Costco ( Milton Keynes, ) I always found it handy for household stuff such as bulk buying loo rolls, kitchen paper rolls, washing up liquids, soap-powder, the normal household necessities...and of course our last home had a car garage, perfect for storing the stuff...

....that was mentioned on our news a couple of days ago....Crazy if this law ever gets one can change the day that they were born into this world...Has this man thought about being " truthful " about himself....If this law changes as he would like it to, what if he was to meet a 49 year old lady, only to find out she is really 69...or a lady who claims she is 69 but in factuality is 89 and looking for a younger man... what one asks for, is not what one gets...

Your mention of our dear Karren and her Monty brought back both good and sad memories...I well remember her long and brave fight to beat her cancer...and her e-mail offers of being there for me if ever I needed someone to talk to...Of course I never took up her offer, I never burdened her, she had her own issues to deal with but, just the offer alone showed what a lovely caring lady she was...

Marilyne... I type we have heavy rain gushing at our windows...heavy rain and strong winds was forecasted for today...I wish we could send some your way....I feel for you asking for rain, as UK went through one of its longest dry spells last summer, of ( three months, ) the grounds were so dry, I along with many had wished for rain..But today we are getting a bucket load along with strong winds...I of course am tucked up nicely inside and cosily dry and warm...

...yes terrible to lose ones homes, I also fear for the wildlife when forest fires take over...

I think it is now becoming a rarity seeing a lady in a skirt or pretty many now wear trousers come Winter or Summer...As for me, I have gone the opposite....I once lived in trousers only but, I now prefer skirts and cant remember the last time I donned a pair of trousers, I just dont feel comfortable in them any more....It is just as well really that I dont wear them, with my MS bladder emptying due to nerve damage, at least when I need to go when out and about in the car, I can do so at short notice without anybody noticing what I am doing, I wouldn't be able to do so if I had trousers on...

I dont know if they are " Hallmark " movies but they do this every year leading up to Christmas, and I watch many of them, the ones that show the True values of Christmas, even if the stories are far fetched...the decked out house with Christmas lights, the families - people, the person who still believes in Christmas, the snow, the carol singers...of course I will watch them when I am alone and I am at peace...yes it transports me to the kinds of Christmas I would rather be having...In my opinion, our American friends know how to do Christmas more than their UK companions...

Its that time of year again....This is the time all your American Christmas films are shown on our UK channel 5 in the afternoons and I am a real sucker for watching them...Oh I dont care if they are make-believe - " Romantic Fantasy, " I get so much enjoyment in watching them, even if I watched many this time last year, and the year before...They seem to be showing two per day...the one I have just finished watching is " Journey Back to Christmas..." a time warped journey of course with a happy ending...
I have recorded all for this week and will watch the ones that appeal to me, the ones that show the real old fashioned Christmas...

Town Talk / Re: Norms Bait and Tackle

I am just off to bed as it is touching mid-night here in UK... but I had to stop and post the time ( two years ago ) when for the first time ever, I read a passage from the bible in my then new church...The bible reading I was told was the second hardest to read and to make matters worse for me, the Lady Bishop came to our church on that day, where a lot of preparation had taken place, and it was almost a full house...If you are wondering which verses I read it was from The New International Version Bible...ACTS 2 Versus 1 - 21...( The Holy Spirit Comes At Pentecost..) and would you believe I pulled it off, it was word perfect on the day...well I lost count of the times I practised it over and over at home and making many mistakes over the pronunciations of...Galileans - Parthians - Medes - Elamites - Mesopotamia - Judea - Cappadocia - Pontas - Asia - Phrygia -Pamphylia - Egypt - Lybia - Cyrene - Judaism - Cretans - Arabs...and these were just the versus from 7 - 12...
Going back to my school days, I was one of my classes top best readers and always enjoyed standing up in class reading to the rest of the classroom, but have to admit I was both excited and nervous on this special occasion in front of our visiting lady Bishop who incidentally I was introduced to whilst rehearsing as she walked in through the church door....
