Oldiesmann: Relevant links can be found in topics in the Homemaking, Food & Garden board. I'll see about moving them over to articles here when I get a chance.

Oldiesmann: Found them. They're on the CP site: https://www.christianphotographers.com/recipes/recipeindex.html

Oldiesmann: I'm not finding anything related to recipes on the site. I'll do some digging through the Internet Archive and see if I can dig them up. It's possible that got lost in the big server crash back in 2016

On this one, I did not like the tube in blue at all but I went with it because I have no real selection of different female tubes! The last five coming through my email were, would you believe, naked with melted chocolate running all over or they were dipped in it!

I tried a foreign tut but even with an English translation, I was lost. So I downloaded some more male or "hommes" tubes and played with one. The Renaissance filter made him look a bit grungy instead of so noble and clean cut. This was better for my purposes, more real. The frame was just one of the Filter attacks.

In Adara, sinedots on the background yes, but not on the frame.

I liked the effect on the frame with the blue woman.

Interesting background in #29.
I don't think I ever used Attack.  I even wonder if I have it, I'll have to check, it looks neat!

You are catching up fast, Angel, especially since my mod has been absent because of a death in her family.  I haven't gotten approval on the last three lessons I have sent in.

These are two of the last lessons I have done and will send in to the group as soon as BJ is back.

Love Letter

I especially liked doing the following one.  I am very tired of trying to find an image of a woman that I like enough to use.  I do not understand this obsession with half-dressed or naked young women.  There are so many other beautiful things in this world that can be used in a graphic.   Angel, I loved the child that you used in #29!

In this one I thought the soft colors and the flower called for some poetry (word art) instead of an image. I hope my mod will feel the same way when she sees it.

I too am tired of the pose of women in tubes and that is why I often select a child instead.

Love letter is  lovely in these quiet hues

Bubble, it is in one of the Filter Factory groups. It is a mirror and then blur type if I remember. Renaissance was also one if I remember. You know I should start writing these things down as it was factory and not attack!  :-[  #29 had selections, mirrored and resizing with most of it using textures/blinds at different settings.

My hand was so sore after doing those lessons, my arthritis, my hand and my scrapes from the day before yesterday's fall, combining isn't helping my control.

I was speaking of Jessica with the sinedots on the background and possibly frame.

I really liked Kaleidoscope and it's male tube! He is perfect, thumbup: Was that from Tubespack? Very well done I thought. Sensual is also a delight!

Phyllis, I don't know about BJ, but I love both of yours! I am also collecting more male tubes as I'm finding so many that have clothes on!   I also collect so many flower and berry or fruit tubes. My favorites are Luz's room tubes, I can feel the need to start doing those again!

Check your mail Angel, for some tubes!

I have yet to get to my Yahoo mail:  too many extra things requiring my attention today and I did not have time for that.  There is a mixed-up with my permit for a caregiver and this not having be processed by the authorities last year. Maddening and I must be on the phone for hours trying to fix it, when it was not my doing.

I'm sorry! I hate anything to do with government agencies and I have spent a lifetime with them as I am disabled. The hoops and Rigamol associated with governments is maddening! I hope yours goes as quickly as possible!

I saw the tubes and thank you so much!

Bubble, I tried retrodot from Sinedots and it closed my program and lost all my graphic info I was working on, so I deleted it.

The next three are ones from your wonderful tubes you sent me and I played with.

so_P_bubble

Lovely, I don't recognize them anymore lol

I also already used some in lessons #30 and 31. They fit the graphics so much better, to me, then the oddly dressed or styled  female tubes looking as if they were direct from the catwalk!

I had to ask for help with #32 as my BGFFX stopped working in my Filters Unlimited2. I asked my mod if I will need to completely delete and re-input the filters? I already tried a re-download without deleting the first to no avail. Stay tuned...

Lesson#30

Gloria

PHYLLIS  I was doing OK with the stationery before the tower went back. A few days ago I wondered if I should enter the license number into my IM letter creator again, I did , and I have made 2 new ones that went in and I sent to a group. I liked it better with XP and Outlook Express making stationery. Everyone could see those but with IM not many who do not have Incredimail can see them. I do enjoy making stats especially the ones with frames, can post that part here. I have hundreds of tuts I have saved over the years.

Thanks Ladies, I like that mist I used in Diamond Structure.

MARILYN  I have an address in my profile.  I was using Windows live email but it stopped working so and using incredimail and that address is not listed. With this new computer I am wondering if I would have less trouble if I downloaded 10. Keep getting the pop up to install it.

BUBBLE  keep the information and patch for the AAA filters.  I want to call my grandson and ask him about partitioning my hard drive to keep 7 in and get 10 on the other half. Did you have much trouble with PSP in 10 or getting used to it? Magic- where did you find that handsome (?) heart throb?

PATRICIA  wonderful frame on your blue woman, you know me I go for frames. I like your #29.

I have a lot of female tubes  and they are fully clothed except for a few bathing beauties that are vintage.

Great fashion frame, Gloria!
No, I had no problem with W10 and PSP except for a few pluggins that do not work/
I have a new  computer and no partition on this one.  I did like having a partition on the old one and keeping all the related PSP files separate.

Angel, that girl is really in the right place in #31!  I love it

Thanks, Bubble, I think she fit better than the scantily clad poser tube used in the demo!

Thanks also, Gloria. I have always been into frames and now am looking for filters to change their shapes. I do love your fashion frame! That's the type I would love to make.

Bubble, your Scribbles is great, everything about it,especially the small buttons in the corners with the tubes imprinted!

Distressed, is also very well done, lots of work put in that one and the colors are so complimentary as well!

I am having trouble with a few filters not working since my change over and my mod has suggested the FM Patcher.

angelface555

Edit:

FM Patcher said my files were not FM files. So, I deleted Filters Unlimited2, redownloaded and unzipped it and then reapplied all filters and FFX prefixs. Son of a gun, as my father would say, everything is now working fine. Lesson #32 is approved and I just sent in Lessons 33 and 34 which I'll show here with Lesson 32.. I am so close to finishing 100 lessons and it sure has gone faster than then first fifty!

Gloria, when I got this new refurbished computer last week, I asked for W7 because I thought perhaps W10 was affecting the graphics program. I soon became so fed up with W7 not having the features I had become used to that I took the offered W10 upgrade. I am doing fine with PSP12U and W10.

Plus the filters I had to put into Filters2 Unlimited to work in the 16-year-old desktop with the failing graphics card, work just fine on their own on this 64 W10 PC. I wouldn't go back to W7, but I had gotten used to W8, and 8.1 and then on to W10 when I had the laptop. It's probably different if you have only used W7.

angelface555

Lesson 32;

It was the BK Cruncher filter that wasn't working earlier. It managed to make those extra frame copies inside the graphic so I really needed it to work. It simply would not earlier.

angelface555

Notice no scantily clad, "catwalk smirking" female tubes?

Lesson 33;

Lesson 34;

Phyllis, you used word art and I used perfume because to me it seemed a natural.

This one used two filters I really never paid attention to. The first was artistic effects, halftone and the second was the middle, User Defined Filter. Both helped develop that nice background for the graphic!

My mod just approved Lessons 33 and 34!
