Oldiesmann: Relevant links can be found in topics in the Homemaking, Food & Garden board. I'll see about moving them over to articles here when I get a chance.

Oldiesmann: Found them. They're on the CP site: https://www.christianphotographers.com/recipes/recipeindex.html

Oldiesmann: I'm not finding anything related to recipes on the site. I'll do some digging through the Internet Archive and see if I can dig them up. It's possible that got lost in the big server crash back in 2016

Good Morning Everyfriend and a special "Good Morning AMY!!  Thanks for letting us know what's keeping you busy!  We all wish you better times!  Keep on keeping on and know that if you don't make it in here, we'll miss you!

Today will be a busy day here.  Emma spent the night and I think she stayed up a bit later than usual and now she's catching up!

I'll be out for my daily walk soon and Cindy said something about a visit to the Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish) store later today.  I guess we shall see!

I wish you all a good day...better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow!  Make it your own in every way and don't forget to share it with us!

Good morning...

Seems Alaska contacted Oklahoma , Oklahoma contacted Ontario..young pup  (son) then phoned me. Thank you Patricia and Jane  for your concern. :smitten:  I must admit time is not what it used to be.....now if I sit my eyes just may have Jane's slam shuts!! With Kyle not able to do what he use to do I get the extras. Babe now needs more coaxing to eat and I will take the time to hand feed her.Trying to get yard work plus garden in has been taxing but this too shall slow down (I hope).

Enjoy your day and stay  safe.

A forgotten tune from what was supposed to be a double album rock opera of sorts. This was the only song from the project that was released until 1996 - the project was shelved after test releases failed to gain any traction. This was from 1967 and was a hit in the UK and the Dutch-speaking region of Belgium, peaking at #2 in both locations. It didn't chart in the US though.

I am reading P. B. Ryan's book Still Life with Murder. I started it while I was charging another Kindle which has Peterson's book on it. I could not put it down. Well, not until my eyes went too fuzzy on my at 2:30 in the morning. It is the first of a series (aren't they all these days?) beginning in mid-1880's and set mostly (so far) in Boston. The murder mystery touches on medical practice, the rampant opium and alcohol addictions, police bullying and corruption (and mentions that hiring Irishmen as cops was a relatively recent development at that time), prejudice/bigotry among both upper and lower classes, and the horrors of the Civil War and, more specifically, Andersonville Prison that killed so many Union soldiers and left indelible scars on those that survived.
