After the breakup of The Monkees, Michael Nesmith embarked on a solo career that focused on his love of country music. This included three albums with the group "Michael Nesmith & The First National Band" (two in 1970 and one in 1971). Among the gems on those albums is this great rendition of "Tumbling Tumbleweeds".

We had the pleasure of going to a Victor Borge show about 30+ years ago.  It was a memorable experience!   From the moment he walked onstage and sat down at the piano, he made us laugh, and kept us laughing throughout the duration of his show.  A truly great entertainer.

MG, I trained Rosie (SD) to help me make the bed years ago. Now we're both too old/weak. My husband insisted we had to have a kingsize mattress. I told him I couldn't turn it myself, back before I got injured. He swore he'd help me. He did; one time. When I eventually got Rosie, she helped. If he didn't like teeth marks he should have helped. :knuppel2:

I really debated putting this one up in the Association board. Instead I went for my first thought and left this one for here.

I kept up with Kelly via email maybe twice a year for a while, but I haven't heard, nor have I sent anything for several years now.

I discovered that there are such things as mattress lifters, including a mattress jack (expensive). Because my bed sideboard is two or three inches above the slats, None of those within my price range will work. Be that as it may, I actually got a bit of strength yesterday and got the sheets straightened out. It really helps to put them right edge on.

Don't put chocolate in your pocket ---- at least not today.  We made it to 96°. TG for the invention of A/C.

LOL, chocolate is a major food group for me and prescribed by 2 of my doctors. Organic, no additives, of course. Its one of the highest plant sources of methyl donors. 😋

90°F, too hot for me!
