Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Awfully quiet in this topic the past few days. Time to change that with one of Spike Jones' signature songs. Spike was far from the first one to record this (his version was released nearly 12 years after the original), but his version is probably the most well known one today. This was written to celebrate the end of Prohibition in the US in 1933.

Well, with everything you all said about the raisins, I might have to give it a bit more thought!  I'm thinking right now that the top of the outside A/C might be a good place to put them but then I'm also thinking that the squirrels can probably get up on there.  Of course, if I stood there and watched for them to come, the animals might not even try to get up on the A/C.  I'll have to give this some more thought!  Thanks for all the info!

Lunch with my friends was nice!  We all have some of the same memories and we share them and something new always seems to come up!  And we all talk about our families, too!  My SIL Craig used to work in the office there, too and they all knew him.  So I shared the pictures of Kyle's wedding with them and they loved hearing about that.  Some of them remembered when Kyle was born so his wedding was special to them!

I think I'm pretty much packed now.  About the only things I still have to pack with go in my carry on bag... like bathroom stuff and shampoo and my eye drops.

After Saturday, I won't be on here until I get to Cindy's and get set up!  I'll have to pack my computer on Sat and I'll be off until Wed. the next week.  I'll be able to read but not send from my phone!

I wish you all a peaceful night's sleep and a happy tomorrow.  Make the day your own in every way.  And don't forget to stop by and share it with us.  We'll miss you if you stay away!

Finally found my way back in.......no time to post right now but just wanted to say I am still alive and kicking.

Heading out to our grandson's lacrosse game.  It is seniors night so his dad will be going on the field with him.....just so sad that Michele is not here to share in this momentous occasion😢😢

Hurt my right shoulder a week ago so no typing for me.  I am doing this very gingerly 🥰🥰🥰
My best to you all.

From RICK "Start by just putting a few there till they learn that it's good stuff. Let them see that you put it there."
No problem with squirrels swiping them?

Both Trumpeter and Tundra swans have been sighted, a sure sign that spring has finally arrived here. No sign so far of the Whooper swan, also known as the Common Swan.

Also, I just read about the first wild siting of Dall sheep calves and Native ranchers report new reindeer calves.

Good late morning, I'm only now getting to the computer and S&F, it's been a busy and late start to the day.

Amy, I haven't been out the past few days but from what I see from my balcony, all the snow is gone. It's sunny, fifty degrees out, and we're expecting a high in the sixties.

Grapes and grape by-products are also toxic to cats. "It's well-known that grapes and raisins are toxic to dogs, but did you know that grapes are also not safe for cats, (and ferrets too); to eat either? We don't know why grapes are poisonous to pets, but the risks they pose, including kidney failure, are serious."

"According to the Merck Veterinary Manual, the majority of dogs with grape or raisin toxicosis experience vomiting or diarrhea within six to twelve hours of eating the fruit. Other clinical signs include lethargy, loss of appetite, increased thirst, stomach pain, weakness, dehydration, and tremors. Kidney failure develops within three days. In some cases, the kidneys shut down and stop producing urine. Most dogs who reach this point don't survive."

Another paradoxical fact is that the most common food allergen for both cats and dogs is chicken and chicken byproducts, yet the most common canine and feline cat food ingredient is chicken.

Maryz...Enjoy your time in Hendersonville...nice get away.  Still so windy here, so pollen count is very high...

I got out to one of our grocery stores this morning....almost nobody there...my favorite way to shop.

Now need to catch up on my reading.

Stay safe and healthy,
