Peter I am having no luck contacting you on Skype. hope you are doing good.
Have a great day.

Lloyd

Joy

Good morning, Amy and Lloyd.   Lloyd, doesn't look like you are listening to any of your friends here.  I thought you weren't supposed to be doing any work yet???   Hope you don't do anymore harm by what you did yesterday.  I know it is hard for you to have to just sit and sit and sit.  Take care of yourself.

It is another rainy day. We have had rain mostly all week and more to come.  Lots of downed trees, and wires and lots of flooding.  This is all supposed to continue throughout the week end.   The Preakness Horse Race will be a muddy mess.  Feel bad for all the beautiful hats to be rained on.

I will be interested in hearing how Gloria's meeting turned out.  Those kind of similar meetings that we have had where I live, unfortunately never turn out the week we hoped for.  I sure hope the residents where Gloria lives will get some good results.   Our Manager doesn't seem to be as nasty as the one at Gloria's place, but there still are all kinds of other complaints about her.  I don't have much contact with her, so I only have the grape vine to go by.

Time to think about getting some breakfast.  Have a wonderful day !

Reading all the notes - I wish everyone well and stay safe.

My Kindle Reader is not fully charging all night long - sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.  It cost $35 and knowing how much the batteries cost plus I wouldn't know how to fix that problem - this may be another search for a decent price.  Planned obsolescence.

Gloria:  I will check back later on you.

Lloyd:  "back in the saddle again"  -  take it a bit easy, please.

My Blood Draw is scheduled at 10 - sipping water.  Don will have to hand me a coffee and I may need to stop at Kneader's for a treat.  That is so late for me.

Amy:  I couldn't sew straight yesterday or something else was wrong so I spent a lot of time pulling stitches.  Nothing accomplished.

Shirley:  Have a stress-free day - I hope the wind cooperates.  We had wind last night and it shows on the deck.

Good morning Joy!

Gloria

Good morning everyone,  54°, another rainy day.   Just heard on the TV the weekend will be more of the same. Thought April was supposed to me the showery month not May. The weather guessers are saying that next week will be cool and possibly more rain.

JOY  no fun when a job gets to you and you hate it. I had some that I did not like much but when one has to work as long as a person can get a pay every week just put up with it. My CNAs complain about the paper work they have and still have to put it all on their tablets, too. I don't think much will be accomplish with that meeting tomorrow. She will just harass the ones who signed and show up.

LARRY  the link you put for that site looks interesting. Will check it out.

CALLIE  the witch is the second manager here, the first one left for a better job. This is also the first meeting like this in the 12 years since the building opened.

SHIRLEY  thanks, hope something will be done to get rid of her.  Time to shut off part of your house tat y ou do not need?

JANE  we are all anxious for tomorrow and a couple are rtoo scared to go to the meeting. Wold be better if we had a professional advocate but nothing like that we could find here. At least an adacate would know how to fight. LOL with you bike fall.

JUNE  this meeting starte with a petition and we pray something will be done to change.

SHIRLEY  hope the timing and your appointment and the pool workers work out OK.

AMY  that meeting is tomorrow at 10am.

LLOYD  I remember wat ching a honey bee gathering pollen at my son's. Fascinating seeing the pollen on the legs getting bigger.

CAROL  tomorrow is the day for the meeting. I dread going but know I have to. We are tired of being harassed.

Have a good day.

When I spill some food on my nice clean dress
Or maybe forget to tie my shoes,
Please be patient and perhaps reminisce
About the many hours I spent with you,
When I taught you how to eat with care,
Plus tying laces and your numbers too,
Dressing yourself and combing your hair.
Those were precious hours spent with you,
So when I forget what I was about to say,
Just give me a minute.....or maybe two,
It probably wasn't important anyway,
And I would much rather listen just to you.
If I tell the story one more time,
And you know the ending through and through,
Please remember your first nursery rhyme
When I rehearsed it a hundred times with you.
When my legs are tired and it's hard to stand,
Or walk the steady path that I would like to do,
Please take me carefully by the hand,
And guide me now as I often did for you.

Good morning Everyfriend!  I was sitting here wondering why everyone was ignoring me and then it dawned on me!  I forgot to say "Good Morning"!

I hope you are all having a lovely day so far!  I've been bullied by my kids to get a new phone.  I forgot if I told you my cell phone died yesterday.  My one daughter has been trying to talk me into a new phone for a couple/three years now and I resisted by claiming that I've just gotten used to this one and I like it.  Well, I don't like it any more!

Today is one of those "do whatever" days.  I'm just going to take it as it comes.  First on the agenda is to put the dishes away from the dishwasher that I left working while I slept.  And second is to empty the dryer.  After that....who knows.

Have a good day.

Hi Everyone.  It is another overcast morning and rain this afternoon is likely.  The same was forecast for yesterday and we ended up with only a light shower.  We had a good meal last night at church and then Scott came out.  We got to chat with one of the great grandchildren for a few minutes.  Today, after coffee, Scott and I are going over to the Target store in Augusta and have our cellphone switched from AT&T to Consumer Cellular.  It is much cheaper and they use the same AT&T towers over the country.  He got my iPhone unlocked and this morning I backed it up onto the computer and then reset it and am now in the process of having it restored from the backup. This will be plenty for one day.

Callie, it would be hard to send kids to college on one's retirement income, at least it would for me.  Unfortunately, neither of our children wanted to go to college when they got out of high school.  Later however, we did send our son to electronics school and then even later our daughter attend a two year technical college and managed to make it last for 5 years.  It sounds like you have a good system to water your flowers.

Shirley, it is pretty amazing all the bells and whistles that are now available on cars.  Our Hyundai is now 9 years old and doesn't have these newer things.  We do have heated seats.  It has a sunroof but we never open it.  As of now I have no plans to get a newer car but I never say never.  Your #2 son sounds a bit like I am in that I like to have things in place and now askew.  I don't care for the new style of women's clothing that have the hems that are not even as it bothers my sense of order.  Silly I know but that is me.  I am glad men's clothes haven't adopted that style.

Carol, it sounds like you have a nice weekend ahead. I hope you get to stop for the treat after your blood draw this morning.

Gloria, it sounds like the manager will have a pretty big job to harass the residents if a lot show up and a lot signed the petition.  Has anyone checked with your county Office for the Aging.  I think most counties have such an office and they might be able to put you in touch with an advocate.

Jane, it must have been a surprise to see your husband's cousin in your line yesterday.  Glad your work went well and it sounds like your cold/cough didn't interfere.  Jane, I don't have to rest long before I can get back up.  I hope you don't wait to replace your phone since you are away from your house in your car often. Will you be getting a smart phone?

June, nice that you were up to attending the Bible Class.  Like you when the afternoon arrives I am ready for rest and then taking it easy the rest of the day.  I believe it is because our hearts are not strong enough to provide all of the blood and oxygen to our bodies to keep up from tiring and the tiring is a way to let us know we have pushed hard enough.  Glad that Gary could get away for the Pastor's Retreat.  Pastor's work so hard they need to get away and refresh themselves and perhaps be pastored by someone as well as being a pastor to his flock.

Amy, glad you got your garden tilled.  Do you have a dark loam type soil up your way?  I grew up with that type of soil in Missouri and it was a shock to come to Georgia and now South Carolina and the soil is red.

Lloyd, glad to see you were feeling up to doing some work.  Your bees sounds like they would be interesting to watch (from a distance).

Denver

Good morning.

We have been enjoying our beautiful weather the last couple of days.  All of our flowers are planted and we are both worn out.  Tasks that we used to do with ease have become very trying for us these days.

CAROL, I do hope you get your treat this morning after your blood draw.  Bob and I both have to do that soon for our yearly physical the middle of June.  That appointment has been made for over a year, and now the date is nearly upon us.

GLORIA, I certainly hope the meeting will go well and something can be done about that mean old manager!  With so much support I would certainly hope the powers that be would realize she is not doing a good job there at your building.

Good luck to you, SHIRLEY, getting the pool resurfaced today.  I remember the day we had to deal with that job as well.  I do miss not having a pool but not the cost and care they require.

JUNE, enjoy your visit with Gary today.....hope he can get your computer back up and running well.

We are headed out the door to take our car in for a wheel alignment.  We bought new tires a couple of weeks ago and they noticed some wear that eluded to a alignment problem.  With all the pot holes we have around here, I guess it would be hard not to throw your wheels out of alignment.

Unfortunately I see: to be hosting another cold....same as before....sore throat and coughing.  I guess it could be allergies however I have never been aware of that being an issue before.

I wish you all a wonderful day.

Good afternoon, still raining and in the 50's

Gloria we are all waiting and hope your meeting went well.  I wrote here last week the big article in our paper about the bulling that goes on in Senior places, senior centers, nursing home and senior homes even in you own home.

Jenny, sorry to see you are getting another. I have never gotten rid of my cough, and I am sneezing all the time, The car was yellow with pollen when we went out yesterday.

Larry, I think I am finally going to sell my car.  I have not driven in a year, but I kept so when I have to go someplace, I can ask someone to drive me, and to stop and take me other places.  If it is their car I do no feel right asking all those favorers.

Jane, enjoy your day off.

June, keep posting, you write such nice post

Gloria de - I sold my car two years ago to a grand niece who lives in Indps.  If she comes up here to visit her mother and grandparents, I see the car and it is in good condition.  I am not sorry I sold it.  There have been only one or two occasions when I wish I had a car, but I decided at the time I sold it that I was too old to drive anyway.  At that time, Tom was using my car so I really didn't have the use of it.  I can see how you feel when others drive you, but if you haven't driven in that length of time, you almost forget how to drive.  Tom takes me any place I have to go and even if I was in a retirement home, I'd have transportation.

It is another lovely day in my town, and I am thankful to be here. If  I am still awake at 2:45 I will go down for "balance and mobility" class, but if I am sleeping that's o.k. too. I keep my morning very busy, especially today. My laundry is picked up on Thursday, and delivered all neat and clean on Friday. I have to have my name printed on each piece of clothing with indelible scripto.....not always easy, but eventually it will all be done.I spend a half hour in massage and exercise, then 15 minutes on the breathing machine, another half hour on Bible study, coffee and whatever, then prayers for family and friends and a hymn, just for God.

I finally got myself washed and dressed and went downstairs for more coffee and a doughnut, then over to the chapel to sing some more hymns......just for me and God......surprisingly rejuvenating.

Soon it will be time for lunch with friends, then, you know what.....book and nap.
Tomorrow the daily routine will vary, as our Red Hatters are to perform again at the fireside launch. and the rest of the day is open to whatever..more naps, I am sure.l

Gary never appeared to work on my lap top, but thats O.K..I prefer the desk top anyway. He has his own VERY busy life as Pastor of his Church, husband of his wonderful wife, and always needs of his parishoners that pop up unexpectantly. He needs to guard his own health too.

As long as we are here, let's dance.

Mary Ann and Gloria de, I gave up my good Oldsmobile 88 about 8 or 10 years ago......when I started the fainting, with no warning....I was a danger to others for sure. I never missed the car. No more essential care and expenses and  concerns. Life goes on.......

There was no blood draw this morning - I was so shocked when the desk told me that they would not take my insurance (when my doctor agreed in December that she would put my insurance through.  So, I have a call into her.  Don says (he is the one to go to) that all they have to do is file a claim.

Trying to stay calm - I have insurance but no doctor.  Something is very wrong. The office wants me to buy the ins. they have changed to -- here is the rub.  It is worthless if you cross the state line.  What good is that?  We go to Cheyenne, Wyoming and New Mexico, etc.

I asked my doctor of many years to give me a call because I don't assume the new girl on the desk knows all the facts.  Never assume!

I had an almond croissant to help me calm down.  Thanks for caring.

Jenny:  Sorry about your cough or cold.  Allergies - I think we are allergic to the hoards of traffic.  Don had an omelet at K's and they put at least a half cup of broccoli in it - it comes that way if you don't say no broccoli.  That is kinda strange to me for being called the American omelet.

Gloria:  I hope you had a stress less day.

CAROL, I am so sorry to read about your issue at the doctors office.  As you know, I, too, went to your doctor for several years and I loved her, however I could no longer see her due to the insurance the office required....same issue, we travel and it is not good out of the area.  I hope you get this straightened out.

JUNE, sorry you did not get to see Gary today, but it appears you had a good day just the same.

We got to see the ultrasound pictures of our  new 12 week grand baby today and I am just so excited.  Seems they will not know for another month if it is a boy or girl, even though they were originally told it would be sooner.  They were both just so excited to see the pictures and to hear the heart beat.....nothing like a new baby to get the family all excited.  In one of the pictures the baby raised one arm up above the head and then raised the other one also.  So sweet.

The “cold” is in full bloom....coughing, sneezing etc.  my head hurts when I cough, so it seems more like a cold than allergies!  Thank you for the kind words.

GLORIA de.  I am sorry you still continue to have the cough....seems many have complained about how long the cough hangs on.

Pleasant dreams to all.....sleep well.

Jenny, I had that cold, cough, sneezing that would not go away.tylenol plus took away the head pain, breathing through a warm wet wash cloth eased the irritations, and lemon drops eased the coughing. I am now addicted to lemon drops..sugar coated..ummmm Time for my breathing treatment now...twice a day, with albuterol and it really helps my shortness of breath. Getting older isn't so bad after all, a nurse comes calling with medications five or six times a day. So off I  go to breathe and then to bed and book. God is keeping watch dear hearts. Hugs, Prayers and LOVE. June

Good morning everyone..

What a beautiful day it is starting out to be!! Yesterday went well, we were early for the appointment and they took him in. Stopped for a Chinese buffet before heading home. Only saw one cow moose on our drive.
Going to spread some grass seed as the weather man said rain tomorrow, just watch. when you are counting on rain it doesn't.

Larry, I forgot to answer your question, I am sorry. I have a Town and Country van and when the wipers started to really fast it scared me, couldn't figure out what I had done to cause it. All is well now. Yes we have lovely loam here, soft as velvet under bare feet. I have only seen red soil in PEI.

Lloyd ,are you keeping off that leg and keeping it elevated??

Jane, hope your colt is gone.

Gloria, I hope today all the tenants get to say good bye to the witch. I copied  a Letter To My Children. Thank you for posting it.

Carol, I have a few more blocks to sew together then I can sew the rows, just hope I don't have to do reverse sewing. A date with Jack is NO fun!

Jenny ,hope you are feeling better soon. Hubby is a bit better but they are now calling it the 100 day cough.

Better get a move on here

Enjoy your day eve4ryone.

Morning everyone, don't know it it is good or not. The meeting today and I am nervous about that. still moisture in the air and from what I just heard tomorrrow will be another washout.

JANE  I have 2 smart phones sitting in the boxes they came in. First one was a Jitterbug that I saw on commercials and the AARP magazine. It is an Android and I cound not unserstand it. Then I got an iPhove from Consumer Cellular, At least it had Windows installed and I knew that.  Did not Consumer Cellular and quit them after several months. Go just 2 minutes over and they charge more and jeep doint that even when I selldom used it anyway. Just have a simple flipphone from Tracfone. Suits me because if I use it once a week that  is a lot.

LARRY  when I see some of the styles these days I do not like them at all. When I see older people-seniors even-wearing those skin tight clothes all I think is how uncomfortable. In the bullerin it said 35 pages of complaints, there is only 53 apartments here. There are some who will not attend and others will go for the free coffee and DDdoughnut. This state does no do much for the elderly. Small state and everything is from the state not counties.

JENNY  as this manager goes on she is like a worden or dictator. Just wants to rule everyone.

GLORIA de  the meeting is today at 10am.

CAROL  every day here has stress except weekends when the witch is not here.

LLOYD  hope y ou catch that mouse.

Better get going if I was to get downstairs for 10.

Directions to His Mansion Located on "Victory in Jesus Boulevard"
(Author Unknown)

1. Begin your journey by making a right turn onto "Believeth in Jesus Boulevard," also known as "John 3:16 Thoroughfare."

2. Continue traveling North, as you proceed through the green light, leading directly to "Jesus CHRISTreet."

3. From there, you must turn directly onto the "Bridge of Faith," which will pass over "Troubled Waters."

4. As you pass over "Troubled Waters," you will enter into the "Tunnel of Obedience," making a right turn onto "Keep Straight Road."

5. You are now on the "King's Highway," heading Northbound leading directly to "Heaven-Bound His Way."

6. Continue to travel North for three miles: one for "The Father," one for "The Son" and one for "The Holy GHOSTreet."

7. At the first exit, make an immediate right, entering onto "His Grace Boulevard."

8. From there, make another immediate right onto "Gospel of Light Lane."

9. As you continue traveling North, at the next intersection, make a right turn onto "Prayer Boulevard."

10. As you travel, you will undoubtedly end up on "Temptation Road." Do not, I repeat, DO NOT follow or yield any other vehicles while traveling upon this thoroughfare. Many travelers make this common mistake and end up on "Sidetracked Loop."

11. Be sure to avoid the intersecting "Sin Street," as it leads directly to a Dead End.

12. Pass by the following side streets: "Envy Drive," "Me First Lane," "Have It All Avenue," "Hypocrisy Street," "Gossiping Lane" and "Backbiting Boulevard," as each road is full of potholes and will force your journey to slow down.

13. As you proceed down "Long-Suffering Lane," "Persecution Boulevard" and "Trials and Tribulations Avenue," remember to keep your eyes on "The Prize Street," and you will avoid getting lost.

14. Without a doubt, if you follow these directions, your final destination will be "Streets of Gold" through "Victory in Jesus Boulevard!"

God bless each of you in your travels with our Lord Jesus Christ!

Good Morning Everyfriend!  And maybe I should also say "Good Night" since I guess I forgot to say it last night.  I fell asleep on the couch while watching TV through my eyelids and all I wanted to do when I woke up was go to bed.  So I did!

AMY, I don't think I've ever seen a moose on a drive around here....well, let me revise that.  I've NEVER seen a moose on a drive around here.  However, a few of them stopped traffice on a road in Yellowstone National Park when I was there.

I'm off to WM to greet my public this morning.  Wish me smiles.

I remember telling you all that I was going to have "Freezer Surprise" for a few meals due to the fact that I'd taked a few unmarked containers out of the freezer.  Well, so far, I've had 2 suppers of Jambalaya and a lunch of sloppy joe....around here we just call it "barbecue".  I have enough for 2 more sandwiches for my lunches.  And that takes care of the Freezer Surprise.

Now, I'm off to get dressed and ready for work.  I think the doggies are settled down for a bit.

Enjoy your day, Everyfriend!

P.S.  My son got my cell phone working yesterday so that urgency is in the background for a bit.

Hi Everyone.  We have another overcast day.  We had rain all morning and most of the afternoon yesterday.  It was just the right kind that soaks into the soil.  I noticed our humidity outside this morning is 97% and we may get more rain today.  This is the day for the housekeeper but nothing else is yet on the schedule.  She left a message last night that she would be late today as they are closing on the sale of their old home after a long period of having it on the market.  I am hoping Pat will feel up to going out for our main meal today.  She was feeling better yesterday. I don't plan to do much as am still tired from yesterday.

Yesterday Scott and I went to a Target store to switch our cell phone carrier from AT&T to Consumer Cellular.  The lady was waiting on other people there ahead of us dealing with a problem and we waited probably 30 minutes only to find out she had only 1 sim card and we needed four as were adding four lines.  She called another Target store and they had the four we needed.  So we went to Panda Express for some lunch and then drove about 20 minutes to get to the other Target store.  The tech there wasn't busy and she really knew what she was doing.  We were out of there in 25 or 30 minutes.  She installed the sim card in my phone and it works beautifully.  When we got back to the house Scott put it in his mother's phone and we couldn't get any signal.  I had to lay down and rest as was pretty exhausted but then heard her on the phone.  Apparently it took an hour or so for the service to be established.  So now we both have good phone service for about half the price of what we have been paying.  It uses the same AT&T cell towers so we really notice no difference in quality.

Jenny, I bet you will enjoy the flowers but understand about the difficulty of planting them.  I haven't planted anything outside for the last two years as the daily watering required here became too burdensome. We are fortunate around here not to have to deal with many potholes since we don't get the winter freezes and thawing.  The roads are not quite a good here in South Carolina as they are in Georgia but South Carolina is a poorer State.  Sorry you are having to deal with another cold. Not too many years ago I remember you wondering if you would ever have any grandchildren and now another is on its way.  I bet you are a wonderful grandmother.  I still miss those loving hugs from my grandmother.  We saw her a lot and she always had her arms out to greet us.

deAngel, does your nephew have his own car?

Mary Ann, you are fortunate that Tom is right there with you and can get you where you need to go.

June, your mornings sound a bit like mine in terms of having a set number of things you do each day.  Hope you enjoy the Red Hatters today.

Carol, it sounds like the Insurance company struck again or maybe it is just the person handling the insurance.  I sure wouldn't want broccoli in my omelet.  I hope Don likes broccoli.

Lloyd, I hope you catch the mouse or probably mice since if you see one there are probably more.  Fortunately we haven't seen any over here.

Amy, glad you are getting some beautiful weather up your way.  Scott and I ate a Chinese lunch yesterday.  At Panda Express you choose what type of rice you want and then can get either a bowl with one type of meat on it or a plate with two types of meat.  The serving are very large.  I couldn't begin to eat all of the rice but the Orange Chicken was delicious as was the other chicken item I had.  Thanks for the info on your vehicle.  I have never heard of the 100 day cough.

Gloria, I sure wouldn't want to wear the tight fitting clothes that some men are now wearing.  Of course, some of my clothes have shrunk quite a bit and fit tighter than I would like.  :)  You all sure don't need to be living under stress.

Jane, in the last few days a kangaroo has escaped from where ever it is kept and has gone hopping down the road.  I think the 911 operators were dubious of the calls until they started piling up.  Fortunately no cars hit it and it was returned to its owner.  We did see some moose when we lived in Alaska and they are really large animals especially if you are in a small tin can of a car, which is what we had at the time.  It sounds like you will have to make you some more freezer surprises for your meals.  Sure glad your cell phone is now working.

Hi Everyfriend!  This is my first time in front of the computer since I went to work this morning.  I drew two long registers for both halves of my shift and I was exhausted when I got home.  I took care of the puppies needs and had a little lunch and than I took a Loooooong nap!  I feel better now and I've done a couple of odd jobs so I seem to be among the living now.

I have that cough left over from my cold too and I sure hope it's not around for 100 days!

Enjoy the rest of your day...wherever you are and whatever you do.

Good morning everyone..

Cloudy morning here, sure hope it rains on the newly spread grass seed.
Grocery shopping yesterday was like a zoo, everyone else had the same thought, shop early to avoid the crowds. This is a long weekend and traffic was heavy with people going to their cottages and pickerel seasons also opens this weekend.

Today we are off to a yard sale, they have an old Singer for sale and it may have a new home if it is the right one. :) Should also take garbage to the dump later too.

Jane, I have photos of moose taken just up the road from here. I never want to meet one on the highway as being long legged they would come right through the windshield.

Gloria, hope everything got straightened out yesterday..

Larry, we enjoy Chinese food once in a while makes it a special treat for us.We like the buffet as we control the portions.

Good morning Everyfriend!  I'm in the middle of making dog food while we wait for the pill time to elapse for the doggies.  But I took a time out for coffee and to see if anyone was around in the Soda Shoppe.

We have more rain.  It started sometime during the night and is supposed to continue all day and into the night tonight.  Ah well, this too shall pass.  And I suppose I'll be wishing for it in August.

PS...AMY, you can have my rain.  We are on the way to MUD again.

I hope Everyfriend has a lovely day filled with whatever makes you happy.  I'm hoping that Cathy will decide to go to the Amish store and take me with her.  She didn't go last week and she didn't go after work yesterday so maybe today's the day!

I copied some recipes off the internet and if I don't get shopping today, maybe I'll cook.  I checked and I have everything for 2 of the recipes.  Anyway, ENJOY!

Hi Everyone. It is another overcast morning but only a low percentage chance of more rain today.  We did have lightning and thunder last evening with quite a bit of rain.  Yesterday we did go to the shoe store where Pat ordered the shoes she wanted and they should be in after about a week.  We first went to Honey from the Rock Restaurant and had a delicious lunch. I spent the rest of the day resting as was still worn out from the activities on Thursday.  This morning I will go to the fruit stand and get Pat some more fresh strawberries.  I then plan on stopping at Lowe's for an item and then at Aldi for a few things.  Depending on how much energy I have by 10:30 I may go to a meeting before the stops at Lowe's and Aldi's.  That will be it for today.  Pat made some homemade potato soup in the Instant Pot a couple of days ago and that will be our evening meal.  I do plan on watching some of the golf later this afternoon.

Jane, sorry you had to get two long registers yesterday.  I know some of the items you have to check out are really large and heavy so no wonder you are tired.  Glad you were able to have a good long nap.  You probably felt like I did on Thursday and again yesterday that I was running on fumes as the tank was about empty.  It has been a long time since I lived where mud was really a problem.  Part of that was living in towns with pavements and sidewalks and now in the South the soil is so sandy it doesn't seem to turn into mud very easily plus I try to stay off the unpaved portion of my yard until the ground dries, which occurs quickly.

June, you had a busy day yesterday.  Glad you were up to all of that.  I hope you had a good night's sleep.

Amy, we have a week to go before our long weekend for Memorial Day.  I like to shop early and here that usually works to avoid long lines.  Hope you found the Singer satisfactory and were able to acquire the machine.  Pat really seems to like hers.  A few days ago she lost the bobbin cover and looked high and low only to find she had put it in the pocket of her blouse so she wouldn't lose it.  Fortunately she located it before it went into the washing machine although not likely that would have hurt it.  We almost always go to a buffet when we eat Chinese so we can have chicken prepared in many different ways.

Good morning everyone 46°, cool this time in May. Turned on the TV and saw the newly wed Royal couple heading to the Castle.

Well yesterday's meeting went OK. The witch and her lacky were not there the building owner was not either. One woman was, don't know he title but a touble shooter I guess. Boy did people open up with all their problems, me, too. She took the names and phone numbers of a few, me included. Said she would have one with the witch. She will be back in 6 months. The lady that  was evicted was here, glad she was. At first she said only tenants could ask questiong but the evicted one told her about being evicted and having 5 days to get out so she let her  make remarks. She was surprised at some of the things she heard. Now we wait, wonder if the witch will cool it now.

JANE  you Freezer Surprises is a good way to make room in the freezer so you can freeze more surprises.

LARRY  when I check humidity where my daughter now lives it is in the low teens and even single digits. Really dry there. My clothes keep getting baggy. No appetite anymore. If they ge t t he wit ch out of here and get  someone who knows how to treat the elderly mabe the stress will leave all the residents here.

AMY  will have to wait 6 months before we know what will happen here.

JANE  we should have rain later and some outdoor graduations. Hope the rain holds off till the ceramonies are over.

Better get moving, my son will be here around 10 so better go get dressed for the day.
Have a good day.
