Busy Tuesday for us......

We ordered covers for our patio furniture so that we do not have to move the chairs and cushions to the garage for the winter.  It is sad for me to be putting our summer furniture out of commission.  The fountain is put away, some plants pulled and trashed!  Boo Hoo!

SANDY, if you are as pleased with this new rollator as I am with mine, that will be fantastic!  I really think this brand and style is a good one.  I bought mine second hand, but it was virtually brand new and I sure felt lucky to find it.  Wonder why the mix up on the shipping?  I hope you get it soon.

GLORIA, it is 56 Miles, (1 hr 15 min) drive from my sons home to your home on a toll road.  I, too, would love to meet you in person.  Maybe we can make it work.  Kurt said it is pouring buckets of rain on his place today from Florence.  I hope it is all over before we head that way!

LARRY, I did see the Chargers player that decided to retire at half time of the game!  Crazy....there are a few more of them that should follow his footsteps for the way they are playing the game!

JOY, it is good to see your post and I am sorry to read you have been having a rough time.  I hope you continue to improve and do come in and say HI when you get a chance.

AMY, I hope it is not something too serious with your hot tub.  These repairs are mighty expensive these days.  Our Boston Grandson fell backwards on the open dishwasher door....It barely tweeked the door, but it was estimated to be a $500. repair and my son had to give the repair person a $100. Deposit on a charge card to even get set up for the repair person to come out!  That is the first time I have ever heard that requirement.

We have a few more things to get done on our To Do List today, so I had best get with it!  It is already 4:30 and to be honest I am feeling DONE!

Enjoy the rest of your evening, EVERYFRIEND.

This has been a fine day for me, a lazy one for sure. I napped this morning, woke in time to have lunch, came home, opened book, closed eyes, and woke  3 hours later. So I took the body outside and walked and used the rollator, walked some more, rollator again. walked, rollator, met new people that visited relatives, one of them, a younger lady gave me a hug, a worker here gave me a hug, I mentioned God to both of them, then came the hugs. People are so happy to share. God is so good. I am so thankful.

I brought half my lunch home with me, so I will go dish it up and eat supper. With all the sleep I have had today, plus exercise, it will be an interesting evening. Just started a new book, "One more Sunrise" by Al and Joanna Lacy. Book one of a frontier doctor trilogy.

So...off I go to nourish the body with food, then home for the rest of the day. Hugs, Love, Prayers and God' Blessing always. June

Hello Everyfriend!  It's been a busy day.  The movie was good...another tearjerker but a happy ending.

Came home and did a few odd jobs, then got a text from my cleaning dynamo asking if she can come tomorrow instead of next week.  That works for me because I want her to come earlier in October due to the company coming.  However, I needed to pick up the odds and ends because I won't be here when she gets here.  Boy! do I ever have lots of odds and ends...and all of them were helter-skelter around the house.  I'm not quite finished either.  Some of the odds were hiding behind the ends and I have to go put them all into a drawer.

After I do that, I'll be off to Dreamland.  JENNY, I can't imaging putting summer away this early.  I have to order some new covers for the outdoor furniture too and if it's getting that late in the season, I better get a wiggle on!

And so, Good Night, Everyfriend.  And may God bless us, every one.

Good Morning Everyfriend!  The doggies have been taken care of and the odds and ends have all found an out of the way place to hide from the cleaning dynamo.  I'm off to the showers and then to Wally World to greet my public.

I hope you all have a great day.  Make of it what you will.  It's yours!

Good morning to the early birds......Amy and Jane.  And, also to all my special friends when they arrive.

Amy, have a safe trip to the city.  And, Jane, have a great and easy day at work.  I have lots of odds and ends that also need to find a place.

It is a beautiful, sunny morning and NO RAIN expected.  That is a big plus after all the rain in the past few weeks.

This will be a busy day for me.  The occupational AND the physical therapist will be here.  And, they each keep me busy for almost an hour.

So, I will try and come back later.

Have a wonderful day.

Hi Everyone.  It is another bright and sunny morning and once again we are headed well into the 90's with a heat index that likely will exceed 100 degrees.  I got my day started early as made a trip to Walmart to pick up our online grocery order.  This time I had to go to a store that is over 20 minutes away from us as both of our local Walmart's had closed the online ordering for a week due to the hurricane.  Fortunately, there is a parkway I can go on for most of the way and the traffic wasn't bad.  I was home by about 8:30 and things are put away.  In a few minutes we will head downtown to the lab as Pat has to have blood drawn in preparation for a visit to her GP next week.  Since she is fasting as soon as we finish we will go across the street to have breakfast where I go to coffee on Thursday Mornings.  This evening is the Wednesday night dinner and then Scott will be out to visit with us for awhile.  That is plenty for one day.  I haven't read the messages yet so will do that when we get home later this morning.

Amy, glad you liked your new dentist.  Being young he should know all of the latest techniques.  My dentist is also fairly young and looks like a kid.

Jenny, hard to believe it is time to begin to winterize things with the heat we are experiencing here.  I expect the rain will be out of the Boston area before you get there unless it comes up from another place.  I see that attendance at the Pro-Football games is really down this year.  I have never heard of having to put down a deposit for a repairman.  I think I would seriously consider buying a new dishwasher before I would pay that for repair.

June, always nice to read you have had a nice day and hope today is the same for you.

Jane, I hope you were successful in findng all of those ends.

Gloria

Good morning everyone not raining now but yesterday looking out the windows was like looking out from the back of a waterfall at times. We ended with 2+1/4 inches of rain. Highest in this state. It would stop at times and looked like the walkway was starting to dry and it started again. There was thunder and lightning at times. Thank goodness we did not get any strong winds.

LLOYD  when I was much yo unger I would have loved traveling around our beautiful country with an RV.

AMY  we talk about so many different foods what recipe do you want? Too lazy to back track to see what one I mentioned. That is me these days, just too lazy to do anything I do not have to. Of course my back has nothing to do with it. Just heard Rain in forecast for Friday here.

JANE  at least you did not have to buy a new battery. I would like to see sunshine, too. Gloomy here and still high humidity. Would like to turn the heat up to get the dampness out but heat is still turned off in the building.

LARRY  NOT GOOD WHEN ONE WAKES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND CANNOT GO BACK TO SLEEP. OOPS sorry about the caps.

SANDY  enjoy the new rollator, I know I would be lost without mine.

JENNY  I am trying to pictur e a toll road between here and Boston. Been many year s sunce I was there. I know on route 95 there are places with a toll booth but that was in Maine. They do not live right in Boston do they?

JUNE  I don't have half your energy and "git up 'n go"

JOY  no rain today but no sun either. Just gloomy.

MY CNA for today just called, not feeling well so went home.

Well, we seem to have located JOY now do we need to get a detective after PHYLLIS?

As you may have noticed, I'm home from my labors.  It was pretty easy today.  Kind of a slow day and no one can figure out why.  I did three things back in the computer room...put in for vacation while my Texas/Okla family is here; did a required survey; and listened to a learning video.

Now I'm home and Tornado Tammy is still doing her thing.  She's going to come back as close to the day the 3 generations of girls arrive as she can.  She will check her schedule when she goes home and let me know.

Now I'm going to goof off until Tammy goes around 2 and then I'll go to sleep for a bit.  Take care of YOU!

Just home from Bible study with our Pastor John. He did very well, very interesting throughout. I had a good morning at home before it was time to go to the Chapel. One of my dear young workers here came calling. She yearns to have a daily quiet prayer time like I have, but she has a family at home and unable to have a quiet corner. I told her God is everywhere...she can pray to Him while walking down the halls to do her work, or a quiet time when she has lunch...that God is always available to us no matter the time or place. I hope it helps her.

Soon I will go down for lunch. I think I will have an egg salad sandwich and as many sides that sound tasty. They make such huge andwiches I will bring half home and have it for supper.

How I yearn to have the rain some of you are experiencing. We are having another beautiful sunny day, a high of 81. I wish  some
of our weather could come to you and Yours to me.

Nearly time to scoot down to the dining room, so I will check back later. jund

Denver

Good evening.  This day sure seemed to slip away quickly!

We enjoyed much cooler temperatures today.  A storm came through this afternoon and we even got a bit of rain.  The news just reported that it is 30 degrees cooler right now than it was last night.  Hopefully we are done with breaking records of high temperatures!

CAROL, I read on Shetland Nextdoor today that a lady watched a HUGE Elk walking out of Falcon Park, just South of you, towards her deck this morning. How exciting.  We see them quite often in Castle Pines, but have never seen Elk right here at our house like we have deer.  I sure would love to capture a view of that big guy on one of my outdoor cameras.  Seems all I can see is a LOT of Raccons and Rabbits!

JANE, happy to read your day was a bit easier than most are for you.  I, too, sure would like to see a post from Phyllis.  It took some head scratching for me to figure out who Tornado Tammy is, but THEN the lights turned on!  I feel it is much too early to be putting our patio away also, but there are signs of us having an early winter and since we are going to be away, we felt it was best to be prepared.  I hope we are wrong!

LARRY, I hope you enjoyed dinner at Church tonight and then your visit with Scott.  I agree about the cost of repairing the dishwasher but in asking I found out the machine is quite expensive to repurchase so the repair was the better way to go.

GLORIA, Bob said that he did find a better way to drive to RI, that did not require travel on the toll road.  Our son lives in Weston, which is West of I 95 and Boston.

JUNE, I am sure you are a blessing to many that you associate on a daily basis there at Rowlentree.  They are all very lucky to have a wonderfully spirited lady in their lives.

I have been on two telephone calls so I had best get this posted before it goes POOF!

Have a good rest of your evening.

Good morning everyone..

Cool this morning, no humidity ..perfect weather!!! Have to meet a friend in town and give her the chicken breasts I picked up for her. She cooks them up for her dogs. There are a lot of little jobs that need done here at home also.

Joy, nice to see you posting and I hope you are feeling much better.

Gloria, it was for your fresh blueberry pie ,if you would share the recipe please.

Jenny, I am with you on the end of breaking records for hot weather. I haven't heard how many we have broke but I bet it is a lot!!

Jane, sounds like you have a busy day today! Enjoy your time with Kiran.

Larry, was there a good turn out for the dinner. I wonder when our older Drs first start out did the patients think oh my young they are?? We all have to start some place and I for one am happy he is my dentist now.

Wonder how Shirley is doing on her trip?

Lloyd, hasn't posted either..

I better get a move on or as June would say a wiggle on :)

Enjoy your day everyone..

Hi Everyone.  Just more of the same weather wise today with heat and humidity.  However, yesterday evening when we came home from dinner at the Church I noticed the air was much cooler than it has been at that time all summer so there is hope for some cooler weather.  Our dinner last evening at Church was quite good and we all enjoyed it.  We then came home and had a nice evening with Scott.

Today is coffee day so will pick up my friend and go downtown for an hour.  I have a prescription to pick up at Walmart and a couple of other items and then plan on a quiet day.  I think I will refresh my Windows 10 software on my laptop.  Fortunately it doesn't have too much in the way of programs installed and the refresh doesn't destroy my personal files although will certainly back them up before starting the process.  It is a bit of a job but have done it quite a few times so know what is involved.  Other than that I plan for a quiet day.

Gloria, you got more rain from the Hurricane that we did since we had only a little over 1/1/2 inches over the several day period.  Hopefully you will get a few days of very nice weather now.  When do you get the heat turned on in your building?  This was always an issue in the old apartment building that Stacey lived in before her last one.  I woke up at 4:30 this morning and then couldn't get back to sleep but did have a good nights sleep.  I continued to rest until about 7 this morning but was reading my email and the discussions here and other reading I do each day so got an early start on the day.

Jane, I wonder if Phyllis has power?  If I recall correctly she lives in North Carolina and there are still a lot of places where the power hasn't been restored and the flooding it making it difficult for them to do so.  I like your description of "Tornado Tammy"  and think I could say we have a "Tornado Janet" who will be here tomorrow to clean our house.

June, glad you can enjoy the Bible studies there.  We enjoyed our weekly Bible study with our pastor in our old Church.  I am sure you are an encouragement to all you meet with your positive and well grounded thoughts.  I hope you enjoyed your egg sandwich.

Jenny, you do have some dramatic changes in weather in your area in a short time.  The cooler weather sounds great.  It sounds like you all live in a nature park.  As I indicated above our dinner last night certainly exceeded my expectations as sometimes when we have the same menu the pork has been very dry and hard to eat but that was not the case last night.  I figured the dishwasher must be pretty pricey for your son to spend so much on repair.

Jane, other than seeing the eye doctor it sounds like you will have a pretty enjoyable day today and especially getting to spend time with Kiran.  Everytime you mention having these opportunities it brings back such warm memories of the many, many hours I spend with my Grandmother.  My sister and I were her only grandchildren.

Amy, we did have a good turnout for our dinner last evening, quite a few more than last week.  I don't mind young doctors and dentists.  Today many of them are in practice with other doctors so can confer if needed.  I am always patient when I see a person just getting started on a new job and recall the first days and weeks in the job chances I had in my career.  There is a learning curve on any new job.  I hope Shirley is having a great time.

Joy

Good Thursday morning.

Just making an quick visit here.  I don't want to be sitting too long because I am supposed to be having my legs propped up when I sit.  The swelling seems to be going down a bit.  I have to weigh myself every morning and if I have a 2 lb. gain overnight I have to call the nurse.  So far, I have I have been losing a pound or two every day.  I still am wearing the white stockings, which are a pain to get on, but I have an apparatus that makes it a lot easier.

Hopefully, I can get back to making some comments to some messages in a couple weeks.  Just don't want to spend too much time, as I have several other groups that I belong to.  But, I have read most of your messages.

Had a PT and an OT yesterday.   They each were here about an hour and had me walking in the hallways and doing some other upper body exercises. Today is a free day, so I plan to catch up with some things that need taking care of.  Some phone calls to make and some notes to organize.

Just want to wish everyone a good day.

Good Morning Everyfriend!  They just called from the eye dr. office to ask if they could move my appointment to an earlier time so I guess I better get off the computer and on the stick.

LARRY, it never occurred to me that PHYLLIS might not have power.  Maybe that's where she is.  I hope that's all it is.

We lived with my grandparents from the time I was born and they were both a big part of my growing up years.  My grandfather died when I was in fourth grade but he left us with some wonderful memories that still linger.  However, my grandmother lived to see her great grandchildren and she loved them and they knew it.  And they loved her right back.  They still recall visits with her and things she told them.

My father's parents had a farm not too far away and my sister and I spent several happy summer weeks on the farm.  I was only four when my grandfather died at the age of 80 but I still have some vivid memories of him.  Gramma Wright lived to see my sister graduate high school and she also left us with happy memories.  I can only hope that I'm doing the same with my own grandchildren.

JOY, good to see you checking in and good to hear that your health is improving.  You continue to take care of yourself and keep improving.  Thanks for checking in!

I better get moving.  I have a couple things to do before my eye appointment and now I don't have "all morning" to do them.  Enjoy your day, Everyfriend.  Grab it and make it your own!

Good morning everyone, woke to leaf blowers, It's not Wednesday but the landscapers are here today. Guess they had to wait till the grass dried some after Tuesday's rain. There was still some showers yesterday and no sun at all, hope it shines today and gives me some energy.

JANE  wonderful that you will have all those generation of women all together. A few times a year I am lucky to have 3 generations of my family with  me. My older son,his son and his grandson. Love those days but I no longer have a camera to get a picture of us together.

JUNE  wish I could send you some of this rain. The rain we had Tuesday might have put out some of those darn fires.

JENNY  that rain we got has lowered the temperature, 56° now and I love it. Been years since I have been to Boston but my oldest son has been there several times bringing my grandson to the airport when he was going overseas.

AMY  OK, will get that recipe out to send you. It really is a different kind of blueberry pie. Last night I was thinking about what one you were asking for and that light bulb popped up and it hit me what you were talking about.

LARRY  this corner of RI got more rain than the rest of the state, some parts had less than a inch. At least we did not have wind. Unless it suddenly gets down into the 30s the heat will go on October 1st. We have to have our AC's out on that day.

JOY  as long as you come in and tell us you are OK we feel better than not hear ing from you at all. I have a hassock under my desk that I put my feet up on when sitting here but even then  I cannot sit here long.

Have a good day.

Gloria:  You had a lot of rain at one time.  Here, we finally had a shower and it was enough so there was some water standing on the lawn.

Jenny:  We used to have elk when we lived in Morrison and cougars were spotted too many time too.  Have you heard the coyotes?  They have been wild two nights in a row - right below our house in the ravine.  Are you sick and tired of the political ads - what a waste of money.  Don is itching to go to Arizona in a couple of weeks.

Joy:  Sorry about your having trouble putting the therapy stockings on - that is quite a chore and exhausting.

Good Morning 'cyber family", have real all your messages, and I thank god that most of you are here and well....or as well as we can hope to be. I have been awake since 4 a.m. and hoping to go down for lunch, and then on to choir practice. I had quit last year but hope  to get back in the swing of things. One of our best voices is in the hospital having a shoulder replacement. So I can hopefully make a joyful noise for her. Then I can come home and sack out.

We had some dark clouds this morning, but no rain....sunshine took over.

Gloria, how I wish we could exchange weather patterns !! does Reginas weather follow more closely to what we have here in So. Ca.??

Janie, I hope and pray you get a good report on your aye appt. Eyes are so valuable.

Joy, do the therapy programs wear you out I know they are essential and you are getting good care, but sometimes our bodies rebel.

Larry. is all the heat you are having normal for this time of year...or has it to do with Florence ? I should not ever complain since we stay in the mid to low 80's most of the time. But I have alway been a "rainiy day" personality.

Its time to scoot downstairs for lunch and then on to Choir, so I will see you later......God willing.

We have had several wild animal sightings today as well as a Elk that was hurt and had to be tranquilized and takn away by Colorado Wild Life personal.  Poor things, we have moved into their area and they do not have the ability to move around as needed.  Schools have been on lock down every couple of days due to bears in the area.

CAROL, yes, we hear coyotes nearly every night.  We have so many Raccons, and at times it seems they are fighting with something.  One time when there were some horrible sounds we think the Raccons got into a squirrel nest.  Those sounds are frightening in the middle of the night.  Oh my, are we EVER tired of the mud slinging political ads!  No one says what they are for, they only want to throw mud at the other.  It is awful.....also so tired of all the robo calls.  We have two cell phone lines and several hard line numbers and the6 ALL are being called all the time.  We are trying to block them but they just call from a different number.  I am sad that it is time for you to head back to AZ again.....we have not even managed to get together while you were home.

I wish you all a good evening.

I'm tired right down to my toenails!  When I picked up Kiran after school, she was supposed to ask me if she could stay while her parents went to dinner to celebrate their anniversary.  She forgot and I took her home.  When we went in the door, my son said "What are you doing here?  Didn't Grammy want you?"  She answered "I forgot".  So back home we came and we had supper together and LOTS of conversation.  She likes puzzles and questions that have more than one answer and we did a lot of that.  We looked at family pictures and took the dogs for a walk.  I think she was getting tired by the time they picked her up a little after 9.

I'm off to Dreamland!  I wish you all a good night and a happy tomorrow.  God bless us, every one!

Good morning everyone...

A nice rain during the night  but today we are to get.Strong southwesterly wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h are expected to develop this afternoon and early this evening, with higher wind gusts likely in thunderstorms.  I had better put away the outside furniture today.

Yesterday was a mixed up day. First ,I went into town but when I stopped at Timmies for hubby's coffee, I heard what every young fella would like to hear.....it sounded like I had Hollywood mufflers and you know every time I stepped on the gas this throaty rumble was hear. Loud and clear!! Met my friend and we swapped packages and then off to the garage. He said he would look at the muffler in a bit so I took hubby and pets home, arranged for a ride back home with my neighbour and took the van in.

A Dr visit that was cancelled was remade, meds were faxed in. The repair man that was to come had problems of his own didn't come but is coming this afternoon...I hope!!

On the upside :) I did manage to get another Camp quilt done, this was a fun one to put together with Damation dogs on it..couldn't help but smile at it.

Today, well I don't think other than picking up my van I am going to plan anything, life has a way of making its own plans .

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Everyfriend!  I was last in last night and here I am again this morning.  If AMY hadn't been such an early bird, I'd probably have met myself going to bed this morning.

AMY, it sounds like your day yesterday, did itself!  Sometimes it just doesn't wait for us to decide.  It just takes off on it's own.  I did forget something that I was supposed to do.  They ordered the salmon oil at the pet store for me and she called Wednesday to say it was in.  I told her I'd pick it up yesterday and I totally forgot.  As soon as they open today, I'm going to call so they don't sell it.

Now I'm waiting for the boinger for the doggies and I'm going to go make some coffee.  I don't know where that laze MABEL is.  She should have had the coffee on in here hours ago.

Good morning.  Not quite figured out what kind of day  it will be.  Another day that finds me feeling so much better.

Jane, so happy that your eye appointment went well.  I know you enjoyed your extra time with Kiran.  I so wish I could see my little ones more often.

I am sorry that I can't comment on too many messages, but hopefully, my time here will get longer as the swelling in my legs improve. THis morning they look just like normal.

Amy, I do have an apparatus that I use to get the stockings on, but it still is a tight fit.  It is much harder to get them off.  I use a pair of rubber gloves to pull them onto this "thing-a-ma-jig".  LOL

I have a doctor's appointment this morning, which my son is taking me to.  It is harder for my DIL to leave work in the morning.  If my son knows ahead of time, he can manage some time off.  I am so grateful that it works out that way.  Transportation is my biggest worry.  Our little town doesn't have any public transportation.  They have several private bus companies, but you have to go on their time schedule.  They don't go out of the county and it is hard, sometimes, to schedule your appointments around their time schedule. So, I am grateful that I can usually work things out.

I hope everyone will have a wonderful day.

LLOYD, I only take the dogs meds if I get confused.  Hopefully, that doesn't happen too often or they'd be sick....maybe I would be, too.

I'm off to get ready for Wally World.  Enjoy your day, Everyfriend!

Hi Everyone.  We are in for a mostly sunny day and getting back into the low 90's this afternoon with humidity.  It will be a busy morning as the housekeeper will be here, I have to go for a pacemaker check and on the way home will stop at Costco to pick up a few things.  I plan to eat my lunch there as know by the time I get home I will be ready to rest.  I slept good last night until I woke up at 5 this morning.  Yesterday was a full day with going to Walmart, downtown to coffee and resetting my laptop computer and then restoring the various programs I use on it. The reset removes applications but leave personal files and settings.  However, I am careful to have those backed up just in case something goes wrong.  I think I about have everything back to where I want it.

Jane, it is nice to be able to think back to the our growing up years and our relationships with grandparents.  Unfortunately this isn't the case for many children who are neglected or abandoned or abused.  While I know some of this has always been the case I can't help but think the drug epidemic has greatly worsened the situation. Glad you had a good report on your eyes.

Gloria, only a couple of times have we had four generations of our family together.  It was a special time.  We are to have a few days where the mornings will start out in the high 60's but will be awhile before we start into the 50's.  Glad you avoided the wind from the Hurricane even though you got quite a bit of rain.

June, nice to see you are again planning on joining in the choir practices.  Yes, the heat and humidity we have been and currently are having is very normal for our State.

Jenny, I can't even imagine trying to keep up with all of those phones.  I also have found that blocking most numbers really doesn't stop the robocalls.  I am just hoping when the election is over some of these calls will stop.

Amy, with those high winds expected today it sounds like you will need to have your generator gassed up and ready to go.  When you mention Timmies are you talking about Tim Horton's?  Pat has had Kcups with their coffee and really liked the blend.  We don't get rusted out muffler's very often here in the South as don't have to deal with the salt on the roads.  That is not the case where I grew up and in some of the places Pat and I have lived over the years.

Lloyd, I doubt that your doctor at the VA will be pleased that you have gotten off your meds for the blood pressure and sugar.  I hope the doctor doesn't spoil your day.

Joy, I have worn support stocking for several years and while probably not as tight as those we get put on in the hospital, they still can be a challenge.  It does help keep the swelling down in our legs and nice to read your legs are appearing back to normal and that you are feeling so much better.

Gloria

Good morning everyone, I was outside several hours yesterday. Felt  so good with sunshine and just warm enough to really enjoy it. The wicker chairs are still on the porches and the front porch had several other enjoying the sunshine. I sit on my rollator and leave the chairs to the others.

CAROL  I am surprised that was only a bit over 2 inches of rain the way it was coming down. There are  places in this state where it will flood with any time it rains. It always has but people built in the area and now every time it rains and it floods they want the government to buy them out.

JUNE  Now that my daughter lives in Arizona the weather is very dry with even less rain than in San Diego. They love where they are now, no noise and traffic. I would not like that, I do like some rain and I would miss snow even more.

JENNY  we now have coyotes here. Bears have been seen around at times, too. No more walking in the woods like we used to, never know what you will run into. My son found a coyote den in the woods in back of his orchard a few years ago.

JANE  looks like your son should have called you instead of telling Kiran to tell you about hem going out. Kids are known for forgetting important information.

AMY  darn cars always seem to mess up when we need them.

LLOYD  at  times I wonder if all the meds doctors prescribe do any good for us.

JOY  glad each day finds you feeling better.

LARRY  it was 58° when I got up this morning. I love those cooler nights.
