A slower paced day I hope today. Light snow yesterday but then temps rose and took some of the snow away. Rain on Sat just may take it all away! Starting temp this morning is 24 ° with a high of 37°.

Inside work to do and get my list ready for Christmas baking.

Jane, I bet your cakes smelled so nice when baking. Did you get them all done?

OLM, I dislike moving! Then trying to find the things you want or need!

Good Morning Everyfriend!  And a special "Good Morning, AMY"  The fruit cakes are all baked and in their storage place with the little jar of bourbon to help season them as they age!  I'm glad that's done.

I had a bad night and I gave Christy a bad night, too.  I got a sharp pain in my right ankle and it hurt like heck!  Christy got up and helped me treat it and after about a half to 3 quarters of an hour, I could go back to bed and sleep the rest of the night.  This morning, I just feel a "twitch" down there but walking is fine.  I took Cooper for his morning walk and it was OK.

Today I'm doing some laundry and having a late breakfast with Christy!  I'll try to come back and see what all of you are up to.  I wish you all a great day!  Make it your own in every way!  See you later....maybe!

Good morning, I don't have to guess if winter is here or not. It's minus 12 presently, with an expected high of plus three. While the weekend will be colder, next week should slowly rise into the teens. Such is an Arctic dry winter. I'm so glad we aren't a wet climate like Anchorage and most of the Pacific Northwest!

Nothing planned for today, meet and greets, morning routines, feeding everyone and coffee is done.

I'm hoping everyone, including Jane's ankle, has a good, warm, safe and sane day.

I think my coffee lost its power, Patricia.  The brain fog won today.

Morning everyone. It is a, so far, sunny but windy day with a few clouds. The weather report insists that it is 53^o but to decline throughout the day. I hope that does not mean the dreary clouds will be back. Yesterday was entirely cloudy, very dark and dreary.

The last few days have been rather nondescript and quiet. On the agenda for today are a few chores and more reading. Nothing major going on this coming week except for car inspection with a chance to check out the new cars. Sue found a new, near to me, Japanese restaurant she is chomping at the bit to try out. We have yet to set a date for a visit.

Starting temp is 26°, no snow or rain like we have had the past two days. Last night high winds and I thought we may lose power but thankfully it stayed on.Busy day ahead ,meals are covered but dessert is needed...either tapioca pudding or Phyllis's baked custard.. Tried a new recipe yesterday and will make it again! Bacon wrapped chicken, lightly seasoned with maple bacon seasoning,garlic and smoked paprika.

Jane, hope your foot/ankle is better.

Good morning, 11 degrees presently, which is actually an upgrade from the past week's minuses.

Nothing new and or exciting here. Morning routines, meet and greets and searching for available home services in my price range still on going. I'm in that unenviable range where I don't qualify for anything and I can't afford anything, which I suppose makes me one of today's middle class.

One can actually see the stars this morning. Starting temp is 23° with no rain or snow being called for. Off and running  meeting up with friends ,doing a bit of shopping then home.

Good morning anyone. Starting off a bit nippy, but bright and sunny. Just some "bookkeeping" to do today.

Speaking of bookkeeping---finally got my online banking back.  Apparently big problem with Cloudflare, huge security company that is used by financial institutions, etc.  My first thought was cyber attack!!!  Couldn't access my accounts no matter what I tried.  I was sure all my money was gone. Hours later I got everything back and all is well.  It was a server error.  Doesn't help my confidence to have a  big security company "push the wrong button".   I am always sure the robots are attacking.   Wish I had never listened to War of the Worlds all those years ago---but you all are too young to know what I am talking about, aren't you?   <sigh>

Phyllis.- Better (Much better) that your account could NOT be accessed, rather than being left accessible/vulnerable to who knows who. It is possible that if their computer is "violated" it will curtail access to all accounts - till verified good. Sort of a "Fail Safe".

Phyllis, yesterday and this morning I was having trouble with my online grocery store order. It took me at least twice as long to get everything ordered. This morning, it was still problematic. Finally, all I got was a site down due to "maintenance" message. Hmmmmm! Fortunately, I got my order on time and with everything there. I am glad your account wasn't compromised.

I briefly had trouble getting into two other sites, not ours, this morning too. Oh, and I did a network speed check. What I got was appalling. 43mbps download and 54mbps upload speed, and it was testing to a site near me. Right now, my download speed is up to 386mbps, but the upload speed is down to 42mbps tested against the site in Baltimore. The farther the test site, the faster it goes?

It was sunny earlier, but as you say Rick, nippy. Now it is completely clouded over. We are expecting "heavy" rain the rest of the day into tomorrow.

I can just imagine the lovely holiday baking smells wafting about some of your houses! 

I'm still in the RV. I got toxed pretty bad when I went into the house a few days ago to do laundry and get supplies. So
I'll be here until thats cleaned up. I'm recovering. This is our first dry day since I've been home. I've been carding, spinning and watching videos today.

Phyllis, I listened to a copy of that radio broadcast a few decades ago. I cannot begin to imagine its impact on the listeners at the time of the original broadcast.

Jane, glad your foots better.

Rick, when it gets too quiet I talk to the dogs or sing. 😁

The main thing I remember about that broadcast was the number of people who thought it was real!

Tad chilly out there this morning with a temp of 14°. No rain or snow today.

Yesterday was a tad busy, today not so thank goodness. Later on today I get my hair cut, it has been over a year so very much needed.

Met with friends yesterday and we both came home with goodies. We are enjoying cookies and they have picles and hot mustard.

Good Morning Everyfriend!  Daughter Cathy is back from her visit to Texas.  She helped her grandson, Isaac delebrate his first birthday!  Amd he's on his feet!  He walked 6 steps alone!! 

Today Cooper is here and we took a productive walk as soon as it was light enough.  Now he's sleeping on the couch and I need to get ready for a Dr. visit.  I think it's going to be a shortie.  I just need to get a shot!

I read all the entries and I really do love being in contact with all of you!  Sometimes I wish (aloud) that some of you lived closer so I could actually meet you!  I love all of you!

Good morning, minus 4 and clear, which means temperatures will plummet. In the summer we wish for clear sunny skies, while in the winter we wish for full cloudy days to hold the heat in. Nothing new here, all routines, chores, and feeding everyone has been done, and I've turned to my laptop to check in on the world.

Jane, it would be nice if we all lived within visiting distance, wouldn't it? Bubble tried to get a virtual trip, perhaps with the magic bus, going in photos, but no one joined in.

29°F and clear on rising this morning. I've logged another injury already today. Kato launched himsef after a ferral cat right as I opened the door. I attempted to restrain him. I lost the battle. My hand, wrist and arm are pretty beat up, scraped and bruised. Homeopathics, herbal salves and ice packs - its doing tons better than I dared hope.

I'm hoping for a quiet rest of the day. 😬 I'm ordering fabric for clothes and tiny house window blankets, as well as continuing carding and spinning.

It was enjoyable getting to read what each of you are doing.

Another brrr morning temp starting at 13°with a slight possibility  of snow later tonight.

Amazing how much better getting hair cut can make one feel.
A few need to do's here then come up with a different pot of soup.

Patricia, the lady that did my hair took in an abused cat...and he is slowly coming around she said.

OLM, as we get older it takes more time to heal.

Spaghetti in the instapot is one of David's favorites.  He would fix it every night.  I like it but prefer a little more variety.

No snow here yet, and none predicted - for the near future. We're starting at around 34° but as the good old sun gets higher it should warm up a bit.

I notice that the S&F site is a bit slow this morning.  Hope it's just that the Net is busy with people shopping.

Good Morning Everyfriend!  I'm up and attem and getting lots of stuff done!  The bucket that I used to keep dog food in when I had my own doggies has begun a new job.  This morning I put all the hats, gloves and stuff that goes outside with me in there.  It's near the door, handy and doesn't look like a bunch of junk lying around!

The dishwasher is on the dry cycle so that will have to be dealt with later.  And then lunch and supper will be on the agenda.

Increased moisture being brought in from the south is expected to bring increased chances for light to moderate snowfall into the Interior beginning Thursday night into Friday morning. Snow showers will likely move from east to west, impacting areas of the Eastern Interior first before becoming heavier and more widespread across the Central Interior Friday through Sunday. Snowfall accumulations may vary but will likely range between 1 and 4 inches, with localized snowfall above 6 inches possible. Exercise caution while driving this weekend.

49°F at present. Partly cloudy. Warm and comfortable inside. My hand, wrist and arm are making good progress. I've resumed spinning. I watch Dry Bar Comedy videos while working.

I've done a few housekeeping chores. One was that Ron brought out a pkg of "dog meat" from the elk he got, and the family pkg during the recent butchering party. The "dog meat" is all the trimmings that aren't fit for people, but dogs 💕. Its ground into burger. I separated it into 3 portions or it gets too stinky by the time we get through it. Its a task that's a little more involved in an RV given that we're so crowded in here. I tethered Kato first, or he would have been right there "helping." He's big enough his mouth is counter height. And he drools!

Good Morning Everyfriend!  No Cooper today but his Mom (my granddaughter, Frankie) said she might be over to give him a bath.  In her apartment, all she has is a shower and he gets away from her.  If she comes, she'll leave him here while she hits the grocery store.  I'm thinking if I need her to pick up something for me.

It's a good day for a walk.  The temp is heading into the 50s this afternoon.  Of course, overnight it was in the 30s.  It's that time of year.  You just don't know what to expect.  Yesterday, we had snow on the ground!  It was just a dusting and the roads were clear and it went away pretty quick but it was a warning.  It said, "I'm coming so get ready for me".
