The sun is shining here, too but we had frost overnight!

Sun was shining  here but now we have liquid sunshine.

Well,we knew it wa coming and now it is here...SNOW! Not a lot just a light dusting of it that will soon be gone once the sun gets out of bed.
Cancelled our flu shot for today ,tomorrow may be a better day.

Not sure what will get done but will make a go at getting something done.

Well, we had a low of 28 degrees overnight and it's all the way up  to 30 now!  Do you think winter is on the way!  Cooper and I just got back from our morning walk and it's COLD out there!

I have to make a quick trip to DAVY'S store sometime today or tomorrow.  Just need a couple things and Cathy said she needs to go too and will pick me up.

Starting out at 26° with rain later on today. Managed to get 4 doz buttertarts made yesterday and will take some for the staff and  will drop some off at the garage for the folks there.

Need to corral dust kangaroos before we go and do a bit of laundry. You know all those fun jobs that don't seem to stay done!

Good Morning Everyfriend!  And also Good Night, Everyfriend!  I've been up to my ears busy since Cooper is here!  He's already in bed for the night tonight.  Tomorrow will be a busy day.  I have some special company coming by in the afternoon.  Our new priest at church is taking time to visit all the parish members and tomorrow afternoon is my turn.  It's been a long time since we had anyone who did that but it used to be something they all did.  I'm old fashioned and looking forward to this visit.

I don't know if I'll make it in to say Good Morning but I'll try!  Sleep peacefully tonight and wake refreshed.  Tomorrow is yours.  Do what suits you best!  Good Night my friends!

Looks foggy outside and it is a lot wamrer wih the temp at 52°.

Need to pick some tarps at the lumber yard to cover some of the trugs. Trying something new this year, with these covers being black it may warm up the soil faster come Spring???

Rick, we lost gimpy the goose , thinking maybe a fox got him Wish we could have caught him and taken him to a wildlife sanctuary. Still feeding the chippies there?

I'm all ready for my visitor today and I don't plan to do anything but read the paper, eat lunch and take care of Cooper.  I'll be a lot less nervous when this visit is over.  I will enjoy it when it comes but getting ready (I wonder if my house is neat enough) is a chore.

Haven't seen a chipmunk for a couple of weeks, but there signs that they are around. - Holes here and there. Most of the summer wildlife seems to have disappeared. Sparrows, doves, and some blue jays still here, and they'll probably hang around all winter. I don't know how they do it. Also some squirrels..

Rick, we have Jays,doves chickadees and wrens. Jays are rather quiet and not their noisy selves for some reason?? The odd time we may see/hear a raven go over but often than not it is the geese we hear and see. I miss the crows

Hello my friends.  We still have some birdies around here but I never see them.  I think it might be because Cooper is here permanently this week.  I know they're there because the seed in the bird feeder is being eaten. 

Our weather made it into the low 70s today!  It must be time for winter to show it's face and the weather is giving us a break before it does. 

My visit went well today and I think I was ready for it.  I really like our new minister!  He's on the ball!

I'm off to the haystack pretty soon.  I have one more eye drop to get in my eyes. Then I'm I'm off!  I wish you all a peaceful nights sleep and a happy tomorrow.  Make the day your own in every way!

good evening everyone. it is 10 until eight pm in the evening, it is raining here now. I went to VA and got my eyes tested. one eye is still about the same but the other is needing change. well my granddaughter came over and got this Laptop fixed where i can get on line and visit with you all again. I read all the posts but my memory is too short to remember what I read and post. so I will just say good to be able to be able to post again. good night and see you all again in the morning.good night and sweet dreams.

Starting out at 59° at the moment and heading to 68° by late this afternoon. Work around home after pick a few things up at the grocery store.
Managed to get all but two trugs covered and will go bak for two more tarps to finish off the job.
Guess the day won't get started with me jst sitting here..better get at it.

Good Morning Everyfriend!  And welcome back LLOYD!  It was a pleasure to see your post this morning.

Cooper and I have almost finished our week together!  I'll still have him days while Frankie works but my bedfellow will be gone!

Our temp right now is 51 degrees and heading for a high of 78!  Winter is on the way!  It's giving us a break and then it's going to hit us.  I think this high is for the kids who will be out halloweening tonight!

I better get busy or nothing will get done around here!  I wish you all a great day.  It's yours!  Grab it and go!

I got a lot done today and I'm waiting to see if I have any halloweeners tonight.  They have to come between 5 and 7 p.m. but there aren't a lot of kids around this area.  Have a good night and I hope you all had a great day!

We are having a gentle rain, putting a damper on the trick or treaters. We don't  get trick or treaters here, they usually  head into town where there are more houses.
I am being held down by a 105 lb. dog in my recliner . One doesn't need  a blanket to keep  warm.
Saw a robin checking out the Mountain Ash but there are very few berries on it for him to
eat.
