Hi everyone.  We have had a couple of hours of heavy rain early this morning and a good chance for more today and tomorrow. We got to almost 70 degrees yesterday and 65 is predicted for the high today.  A little while ago I picked up an online order of groceries from Walmart and also got a half-dozen items at Aldi's.  On the way back I stopped at Advance Auto and had my battery checked.  It needed replacement so now have a new battery in my PT Cruiser.   Those are the big activities of the day.  Yesterday morning my former coffee group of men friends called me from McDonald's via a video call and I had the opportunity to speak briefly to each of them as we shared season's greetings.

Shirley, I don't remember you ever mentioning your Yamaha Chappie.  I can just picture your racing down the street on it like you did with your motor home when you got stopped for speeding.

I am happy to make this connection.

Soon leaving for my last of the year MS social meet up....think tonight is going to be a young choir, followed by some sort of a buffet....I am looking forwards to it even though the lack of sleep is going to be a problem, plus my top of right leg is playing up and my walking is not too great, more shuffling than walking...but then its almost door to car - car to door, just as well as a lot harder for me to walk in the dark...

I'm home from work and happy to see that we are all gathered again.  I missed you all this morning!  I wonder if this will post?  There is something weird on my screen. 

Do not know what happened  this morning but S&F was not on. Got a page with ads for all senior things and at the bottom it said the name had run out.  Since no CNA yesterday they sent one today. Good she went to the pharmacy to get the one med that was not transferred. Ny GERD capsule. Have had misery since Sunday. I called and they filled it and did not send it so called again after the CNA came and asked if she could pick it up for me. Wonderful and I took one already and the burn is easing.
Back to starting to feel alive already. Glad I decided to check back here.

PHYLLIS like you I send JL ecards to most people these days. They set up a box in the lobby for Christmas cards. Has 3 separate places for 3 floors. First year I was here I wrote cards to everyone here. Last year I did for the ones I got one from. Have not checked for 2 days but I do have some already and need another box of cards. CNA can go and get me one or 2 tomorrow. Nice, no stamps to buy. Have some new people since last year that I do not even know their names yet. Call me cheap too.

CALLIE  seems we all know people who like to get together as long as they do not have to arrange it. Like you, been there, done that but no more. 

PATRICIA  just think, you would be able to have a picnic anywhere in the neighborhood and a place to sit.

JUNE  I was 5'1”  but now am 4'11”  I was 135 for many years then went up to 150. Now under 90 and look like a wrinkled old prune except my skin is whiter than ever. You are one of the few to thank the card makers for the cards. It was a lot to find something that fir the person the card was for and never a thanks. I know I got tired of it.

SHIRLEY  I gave up doing family gathering on holidays about 39 years ago. 3 rooms made it much too crowded and the family did expand some.

JOAN  I see you made it in early today. Wonder now if it was something trying to get me to click  on a link in that page that came up. I just hit the X and went to my email. That page showed up on google and IE, too. Like the Pet-Pet Peeves. Like all your goodies today, thank you for the hours you spend looking for all you post every morning.
I see now the site was down.

Thank you to the ones who got us back up again. We would be lost without S&F.

VON just left,she cleaned hubby's PICC line and was thorough and good at it. Hope we can get this young lady again as they will be coming twice a week now.

Many on the east coast saw a note saying the domain was for sale. I could bring up the site and post but never another poster.  It was very odd.

The only way I can get in is with my iPad.

Warm sunny day here with coughs to keep me on my toes.  Wife is still under the weather too.  Lousy cold.

I couldn't get in,  then I did get in after talking with Pat...   

But I do not think that everything is working as it should be.   

But I am sure that they are working on it.

I went out a little while ago and it is beautiful  out... I was dressed for winter with warm shirt and a down vest.     Very Nice.  More cold expected the end of this week.   

I hope that people check in and let us know how they are doing getting in here.

I finally got in using my computer and not the iPad.

When I first tried to sign in, I got a purple screen that read the domain had expired.  That was about 8 am.   I did other things until around noon when I tried again and it worked.  I have had no trouble since.  It doesn't come up slow or weird.

Strange things are happening!  Thanks to everyone working on the site to get us back together.

Hopefully, we will all get in the SS tomorrow and enjoy one another.  Right now I am waiting for my daughter,  Linda, to arrived.  She landed OK in Orlando and then gets a rental car and drives here to Melbourne--a little over an hour's drive.

I came home from work today more tired than I've ever been and was rejuvenated when I discovered that I could join my friends again.  A long nap added to the rejuvenation and here I am with no trouble at all! 

My lines alll had pleasant, happy shoppers today.  I think Someone knew that I needed friendly faces because I had not been able to communicate with all of you today.

I'm trying to decide what to have for supper before I get into some project for the evening.  It's snowing again so maybe a good day for soup?  I'll think about that.

My MS social turned out different to what I was expecting....I was thinking it was going to be a young choir singing Carols but it was more lively with a small young group, just half a dozen of them tonight, called WOW Youth Musical Theatre, based in Weymouth...they sang and danced to stage musicals, they were very good........they can be found on Youtube....LINK.....This is a compilation mix which gives you some Idea of their talent...

My granddaughter came over and helped me get this going again. Somehow my computer updated and wiped out all of my bookmarks and reset my computer to factory condition. She had to reinstall everything.

Here is her story.

I was walking in to go doe hunting. I kept hearing something walking, but I couldn't see it. I heard the steps come closer and closer and the squirrels starting going crazy. I texted my husband that I was pretty sure I was being stalked by something, but I couldn't see it anywhere. I hear it come all the way up behind my blind and my heart was beating like crazy because I couldn't see it anywhere. My husband told me I was just being a chicken and it was just squirrels. I really didn't think it sounded like squirrels or a deer or anything I had ever heard before. I said I think it might a bobcat. He told me I was crazy. I kept looking out each of my side windows trying to see what is was. Finally I saw creeping out beside the blind and sure enough it WAS a BOBCAT! My heart dropped and I decided I didn't want it to follow me out so I shot it.

Here is my newest great grandson. He was born on December 9 th. He was 7lbs and 20 inches long. They named James Bradyn Lee.
