I think I've seen Boarshead ads but I don't get a newspaper now and I don't do the shopping.  I doubt my supermarket handles it, but Meijer who is much bigger might.  Tom likes Meijer and occasionally shops there, but I like the Spartan stores.

We do not have Fred Meyer, just Fred Meijer!  (pronounced the same)

Mary Ann

angelface555

MaryAnn, the Fred Meyers stores are owned by the Kroger brand, and I think most of the Eastern ones are called Krogers. I had purchased the meats, mustards, etc. at the downstairs deli with my groceries but always believed that upstairs was simply seating. It was only last month or so that I discovered the Deli counter, sales, and seating among the plants upstairs and it is kept clean. For now, I'm enjoying the space and the sandwiches! We don't have a Pantera here, but it sounds enjoyable as does the Cracker Barrel stores, another outlet we don't have here, but I've heard about.

Wow! your day has been packed! I bet you will sleep well tonight!

Hi, Beverly! I have never really dreaded the time change as they have messed it up so bad here, changing three time zones into one, the better to do business with the lower 48, that it seems meaningless. I am, however, dreading the aftermath of the election that has brought so many crackpots out of hiding and with candidates saying there will be violence if they don't win and the election must be rigged if they don't win,I just want it all to go away. I have never heard of the Wegman stores.

Our local supermarket, that is to say, the one that is to be found in our section of Annapolis and only a couple of minutes away, is Giant, and they carry Boar's Head products, as well.  In fact, in their Deli section, that is the only brand they carry.  I like them, but find them a bit more expensive than some brands I can do with just as well, especially in the matter of sliced cheeses.

Mary Ann, I am afraid I have the same perspective as Patricia in that I have always thought of Subway as an assembly line sandwich shop.  Our local Subway shop does not have room for eating in;  at least, not that I can remember.  I haven't been there in years, but Chip drops in occasionally to get himself a sub.  I have never cared for their bread, and having found some of the ingredients offered quite spoiled during a visit eons ago, well, that is why I give them a wide birth.  I much prefer the subs at Potbelly, Jerry's, and Capriotti's.  Capriotti's has the best bread, Potbelly the best ingredients and a very good bread, and Jerry's gives the most for your money.

Daughter Anne turned 65 today, and I am spending an awful lot of time thinking about back when she was a little thing.

Tomorrow, sons Rob and Chris will come to greet my daughter Pam, who has been at a veterinary conference in Washington, D.C. and has stayed over the weekend to see family and will fly back to Arizona Monday morning.  A bunch of us will have lunch with her here, well, at a local seafood restaurant called the Blackwall Hitch, as Pam always wants seafood when she comes back home.  We'll have several hours of visiting here and then she will head to my granddaughter Helaine's in upper Montgomery County to see a bunch more of the family and spend the night tomorrow night.

Mary Ann

MaryPage, I think we have a Potbelly here but I'm not going to go 10-15 miles for a sandwich - unless my retiree friends choose to eat there.  They do not want to come north into my area where we are getting many new restaurants, however, all of them expensive.

Grand Rapids is not a large city - +\- 200,000 and we are not on the road to any large city - 150 miles from Chicago or Detroit.  I'm too old to be traveling around the state looking for places to eat.  I am satisfied with what is available.  And I do like the subs from Subway.

My activities of today were very unusual for me; I usually am not that active on any given day.

Tonight I watched Keeping Up Appearances.  I had not watched that program for years because I was getting reruns.  Now they seem to be new, at least for me.

MaryPage, our local Fred Meyers is the one I support over Walmart and Safeway. Safeway has good personnel but their prices are high and their stores small. Walmart, to my mind, the less said the better at least to the super one here. Jane's may be wonderful. There are two Fred Meyers here, east and west and the one I use is double the size of the eastern one.

In one area, they have the bakery, two aisles over is the deli with a number of brands and yes, Boarshead is not cheap. Across the aisle is the cheese shop and there are two counters, foreign and domestic with a manned tasting counter set up between. That testing counter is what I blame for my last stubborn five pounds! Beyond that is the elevator to the upstairs deli or more accurately, sandwich shop I suppose.

i have never heard of Potbelly, Jerry's, or Capriotti's. I should Google them.

Anne is my age and believe me, my youth seems further and further away each time I awaken with snaps, crackles, and pops! Wish her a Happy birthday from me! Also, I always forget to tell you how much I love the name, Helaine.

MaryAnn, Grand Rapids sounds large to me. We are just over 100,000 and Anchorage is around 300,00 or larger. The next largest is Seattle, over a thousand miles from here.

Subways are franchises so it really depends on the local franchise holder. Quiznos just had the same old, same old and folks quit going.

If "Keeping Up Appearances," is the PBS show with Hyacinth, I loved that show!

Larry - I hope you enjoyed all the college football today? My husband and son went to the Stanford/Oregon State game, at Stanford. They were there to support OSU, where grandson Jake, is a senior this year. Unfortunately, OSU has had a bad football year, and they lost once again today.  As soon as hubby got home, it was time for the LSU/Alabama game, which is still in progress.  Granddaughter Jessie is a senior at LSU, so of course we are rooting for them to win.

I was home alone for the entire day, and intended to get a lot of things done, but not much was accomplished.  This afternoon I decided to drive to the Tuesday Morning store, and get some bathroom rugs that I'd seen there a couple of weeks ago.  I was surprised to see signs posted, announcing that they will be closing forever on December first.  I'm so sorry to see them go.  It's a great little store, with a good variety of quality merchandise.  It's a nationwide company, so I'm sure that some of you have a store near you?   I don't know if they will all be closing, or just this one?

Mary Ann - Looks like you had a very busy day today. That's the kind of day I like best, although it's getting harder and harder to keep up the pace. Around about 12:00 noon, I start to fade! I've never been able to nap, so my early afternoons are spent reading or on the computer, and then later in the afternoon I usually go to Safeway or Whole Foods, for food, or other necessities.

larryhanna

Hi everyone on this beautiful cool 44 degree Sunday morning here in South Carolina and only to get up into the mid-70's this afternoon.  I am almost ready for church but it will be a little while before time to go.  I did remember to set my clock back last night before I went to sleep.  The three college football teams I follow won their games yesterday.  I will watch some Pro-footfall this afternoon.  Nothing of note to mention regarding yesterday as it was a quiet day.

Mary Ann, it sounds like your community is almost like ours.  Our little town is around 22,000 population and just across the rive Augusta is around 250,000 but the entire area called the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) is over 700,000 and includes all of the smaller towns as well.  Fortunately most of that population is across the river in Augusta, Georgia and its surrounding towns. When I was growing up we had both A&P and Safeway grocery stores in the town about 6 miles from us.  However, those stores have been closed for years along with the JC Penney and Sears store.

JeanneP, we had a number of different grocery chains in the Atlanta area when we moved there but most were replace by Publix and a North Carolina chain called Ingels.  Here we have a Bi-Lo and Food Lion stores plus the Aldi's and of course the Walmart and Target grocery sections.

Sandy, I know you must have been frustrated to find the Thrift Store closed.  It sounds like you will find a lot of unused space with all that cleaning out.  Five hours is a long time to work on a project so no wonder you were tired.

Joan, hope that Dan enjoyed his ride in the Parade.  Was this a Veterans Day parade?  Your daughters surgery sounds very serious and sure hope she fully recovers.

Patricia, where Stacey used to shop at a Kroger's close to her apartment they had an upper area where the pharmacy was located but don't remember whether they had a little cafe up there or not.  The store closed after a few years and she had to ride the bus to get her groceries or have a long ride in her wheelchair. I think you are right that every State has a unique beauty.  A lot of people in the Midwest have cellars for storm shelters.  I know we had one on the farm.

Beverly, what your your New England boiled dinner consist of.  I know what a shrimp boil is but not the New England boiled dinner.  I had never had the shrimp boil until we moved to Georgia and then only two or three times. The Boars Head history was most interesting.

MaryPage, I always liked the Giant supermarket and all the bulk foods they have or had.  It has been many years since we lived where we had a Giant supermarket. Do you have a Firehouse Subs in your area?  I like just about any sub but the ones from Firehouse Subs I consider the best.  We have Subway, Jersey Mikes and other sub stores around here but I prefer the Firehouse and often go there after church to bring something home.  Pat likes their Hook and Ladder salad.  Nice you could be with your daughter Pam and family over the weekend.

Marilyne, I did enjoy all of the football I watched as my teams were winners.  LSU really give Alabama a struggle before losing to them last night.  I didn't watch that game as Georgia was playing Kentucky and they had a tight game as well.  I haven't been in a Tuesday Morning store in a long time.  However, I just checked and they have a store in Augusta.

Good morning! I have an extra hour to get ready for church this morning but can't think of any other reason to be happy about the time change.

We have a Tuesday Morning store here and it's a fun place to browse. Never know what you might find.

Larry - The New England boiled dinner is cabbage, onions, carrots, potatoes and ham (sometimes I use smoked sausage) all cooked in one pot. Chape loves boiled onions so I make it with a lot of them. My mother always made it by boiling a smoked shoulder for hours and then adding the vegetables. I do a lower fat version.

wjoan

Larry, I think so.  Anything to do with Veterans he is there.  :)

Thank you, Patricia.  Helaine is the 2nd oldest of my 13 granddaughters, and was named for her daddy's sister, Elaine, and her mother's mother, Helen.  Now, her mother's mother sounds like it would be me, but Helaine is one of my step granddaughters, and is the blood granddaughter of my best friend, whose name was Helen Suzanne, but she was always, without exception, called Sue.  She was my Bob's first wife.  I can remember mail coming to her house for Helen, because mailing lists always use first names, as do all of the authorities.  I was always very close to Elizabeth, Helaine's mom, and saw a lot of her  that summer of 1966 when Helaine was expected and later born.  We are very close, Helaine and I.

Yes, Larry, there is a Firehouse sub shop here in Annapolis, but it is over in the Festival at Riva shopping center, which is at least a 20 minute drive away, and when we go there for any reason at all, we always make a plan to eat at the Chinese restaurant over there, which happens to be my number 1 Favorite Chinese in town, or, if we are not in the mood for Chinese that day, we go to Cheeburger Cheeburger, which I love not only
for the special drinks, but for the fact that you can order any SIZE hamburger you want, and I do love a small one.  I call their hamburgers "just right!"  So the result is, I have never yet in this life had cause to go to the Firehouse shop for a sub.   Chip and I keep saying that "one of these days" we will!  But I DO so love the Hot & Spicy Shrimp at Hunan!

Okay, Beverly and Larry, I knew what a New England Boiled dinner was and have made it often. But what is a shrimp boil and is that where they lay paper on the table, sometimes outside; pour the shrimp or other crustaceans on that paper and serve other sides to go with the main course?

MaryPage, I have seen Helaine used in Medieval times and the English version of the name means "light." So that fits in well with her being named after two other loved ones.

There are no real sub shops here other than Subway. We have a whole slew of restaurants, sports bars located within other restaurants and a few top of the line places. There are some pizza places like Dominos, and a couple of McDonalds but many franchises go broke here. People become excited about a Red Lobster or Boston's here, and within a month or two, they are just gone. The two Walgreens here also seem to be going that route. We have a Dennys and some Cafes that put new meaning into greasy fare. Safeway, Fred Meyers and Walmart all have places for shoppers to eat and there are two Kentucky Fried Chicken places here.

What sets this town apart and seems to thrive here ae the Ethnic restaurants, many are family owned and run. We have various Asian, Hawaiian, East Indian, Mexican, Israeli, and Tunisian. There are a few Alaskan places that serve local foods, one of my favorites is the "Loose Moose." Tourists always seem to gravitate there. Two of their Alaskan hot sauces won first and second place in 2014, at Avery island's yearly contest,(of Tabasco fame); over all the US state's entries plus eleven countries!

Yesterday it snowed again, and it was wet snow, about two inches. As it was dense, it may stay this time. The local weather guru said, "With clouds in short supply over Fairbanks in the past month, precipitation was nearly zero; the October total liquid equivalent was 0.02", the lowest for the month since 1914.  The thin snow cover from the 20th has mostly sublimated or melted away, and the airport's snow depth measurement has been down to only a trace for several days.  However, there's variation from place to place; a downtown webcam showed a thin snow cover today, but the ground is basically bare on UAF's West Ridge and up at Cleary Summit."

Farrah and I are becoming used to everything either out on the balcony or loaded up into Rubbermaid crates. She likes springing around the room from table to counter to a crate to chest and back again between four to six feet up. Since her toys are packed away, I figured this keeps her mind engaged and body exercised. I have only my computer or my tablet; everything else is packed away. I will be so glad for the end of this! It is like being stuck moving, yet never getting anywhere.

Good Morning from the cool and partly cloudy,  rocky coast of Maine.

I turned my clock back and now have
to look forward to it getting dark now
before 4:30 PM in the Afternoon....

I really hate this,  because my vision
gets worse at night  (after daylight
retires),   but......   I am just going to
have to get used to it and be grateful
that after Dec 22 the daylight starts
to get longer.

I wish everyone a good day.

Mary Ann

Today is turning out to be a beautiful day.  It was 50 degrees when I got up and is to go to 67 today.  I did not need to wear a coat to church, just my sweater as outerwear.

Our new minister got carried away this morning.  Our one-hour service was more like 1 1/2 hours.  I think they had too much scheduled for today and I think it won't always be that long.  We always have Communion the first Sunday of the month, but we also turned in our pledges for next years.  And because he is new to us and he did tell us changes would be coming, as the church was "built on the Rock", he had us bring rocks, some painted, some with our names on them, but all to represent being "built on the Rock".  He is an interesting man and I hope our attendance increases because of him.

As to the New England Boiled Dinner, I know what that is and I'm wondering if the Shrimp Boil is similar to the Fish Boils I've had on some of my tour trips.  I can't even remember where I had one; I can see it in my mind, but I don't remember the location.

Mary Ann

Mary Ann

PS I'm thinking the fish boils I attended were on trips to the Door Peninsula in Wisconsin.

Mary Ann

Beverly

You've made me curious so I looked up Shrimp Boil. Similar to how you make a boiled dinner, but no cabbage and adds corn on the cob, some spices, etc. They use the same sausage I put in the boiled dinner. I think I'll try it. We both like shrimp.

Mary Ann - I looked up Fish Boil and you are right......one of the places known for it is Door County in Wisconsin. After looking at the recipes, I think I'll pass. Uses too much salt for my hubby.

MaryPage - We really like the Firehouse subs. Funny you should mention Cheeburger Cheeburger! It's my grandson Colin's favorite place. I'd never heard of one till our family went out to celebrate after Colin's college graduation here in Florida. That was his choice of a restaurant! He's even been known to travel the 3 hours from his home in Vermont to Montreal because that's the closest one to him.  ::)

After church a wave of ambition hit me and I did some sorting and reorganizing of kitchen cabinets. It's gone and I'm thinking about a nap! ;)

Mary Ann

Beverly, the fish boil on these tours is not made in small quantities.  There is a huge cauldron and they boil the water with a fire below, then put in various vegetables - corn and onions are two I remember, then at a certain point, they put in the fish chunks and the water overflows and I know it doesn't take long for fish to cook.  Then the fish is distributed to the guests.  I'm trying to remember - and I don't - whether the bones were removed beforehand.  Oh, you had mentioned salt and there was a lot of salt put in the pot before the veggies were added - I think.  I don't recall what fish were used but there are whitefish in Lake Michigan so that could be the fish, but there also are coho salmon.  It's been many years and I went to Door County with a friend, long before I started traveling with Jim.

This root canal business really sucks. My face is swelling again, but with not much pain this time. I've have to call the Endodontist as soon as they open this morning. I sincerely hope that it is indeed the tooth and not something in proximity. Otherwise, the root canal redo is a waste of money I can ill afford to spend.

Meanwhile, it appears that failed root canals are not at all uncommon. The latest revelation is that my next door neighbor has had several redone. I need to look into tooth implants. They are more expensive but, as it turns out, I am almost spending as much for the root canal and its redo. My sister had an implant and has had no problems.

This morning I had a real treat. When I Iooked out the window, the sky was extra clear and I saw tons of very faint tiny shining dots in the sky - even with the street light on. Amazing! I don't think I've seen so many stars in a long, long time if ever. Right now, when I get up Orion is right in front of me. Just after dark the moon is in sight along with Mars. Sadly, Saturn and Venus are down in the trees most of which still have their leaves.

larryhanna

Hi everyone on another bright and soon to be sunny morning starting out at about 51 degrees and is to go only to about 71 degrees this afternoon.  My schedule is light today with only my Monday noon meeting on the agenda.  However, I may make a trip to COSTCO and be there when they open as we need to restock our refrigerator with some meat.  Thankfully this is the last day before our big election day tomorrow.  I will need to rest up so I can stay up later and watch the returns.

We had a very nice Church service yesterday as it was All Saints Sunday and as the names of those who had passed away from our congregation were read one by one a bell was sounded and as the service continued until the end when four bells were run in different corners of the church. The rest of the day was quiet and enjoyable with some listening to Don's musical program, taking a nice nap and then watching some football.

Beverly, the New England boiled dinner sounds good.

MaryPage, I hope you will try a Firehouse Sub one of these days.  We always get one of their hot subs.  I prefer the Italian but the beef brisket with cheddar cheese is delicious as well.  They also feature sandwiches.  I have never heard of the Cheeburger Cheeburger but they sound interesting.

Patricia, the shrimp boil that I have had a few times is potatoes, corn, shrimp in shrimp spices cooked in a big boiling pot.  It is all right but not one of my favorites.  I looked up the recipe and I had apparently forgotten about the sausage and onions.  One recipe said you added beer to it but have never had it fixed that way.  My wife's aunt, that we visited several winters in Pensacola Beach, Florida, would fix several pounds of large shrimp and then pour them out on paper on the table.  I forget what else she served with them but the emphasis was on the delicious shrimp freshly caught from the gulf.  There were many ethnic restaurants in the Atlanta area and I am sure they exist here in the Augusta area as well.

Sandy, it was nice to see the dawn around 6 am, when I usually awake for the day.  I don't mind the early darkness except when I have to drive in it.

Mary Ann, yesterday must have been the day for longer services.  Our service usually ends at noon but yesterday it ran over 15 minutes or more.

MarsGal, so sorry to see that your root canal hasn't gone well.  I have very straight roots and the couple root canal procedures I have had done had no problem.  However, my wife says she will never had another one as she had a terrible experience with one she had done years ago.  I am usually not out at night to see the starts but sure remember as I was growing up on the farm that on the cloudless nights you could see so many stars.

Mary Ann

We have the start of a beautiful day.  I understand we are to get to 67 degrees which is 10 degrees higher than it is now.  Tom went to the store for us this morning so we have things to eat for another few days.

Larry, our church service yesterday should not have been so long.  Our new minister will have to do some thinking.  We always have Communion the first Sunday of the month and the other two special things did not have to be done yesterday.  But a new broom sweeps clean and we know there will be changes made from previous services.

MarsGal, I think I had one root canal over another but as I recall everything went OK.  I have a lot of crowns and I think at least one of the crowns was replaced by another.

I'll be so happy when Wednesday comes so no more political ads or phone calls.  I don't answer the phone for those calls, but I do have to look to see who is calling; it might be a call from a friend.

Mary Ann

MaryPage

Larry, I am sure I will get a Firehouse sub one of these days.  As for your personal choices, I am not much of a meat fan.  And, being picky, I have an absolute distrust of meats put in sandwiches by other than my own very picky hands.  I detest fat, gristle and such.  So I have never had a cheesesteak sub or anything like.  I have had some really good Italian subs in my day, but my favorite remains a tuna sub.  Or a vegetarian.  Or an eggplant parmesan.  Capriotti's carries a famous signature sub which amounts to a Thanksgiving dinner.  They roast their turkeys in house, and they are the Real Thing, complete with dressing & cranberry sauce.

This is yet another beautiful day on the gorgeous Chesapeake.  Temps in the sixties.  My cleaning ladies have just left.  Rubia tells me her entire community plans to take time off tomorrow and go to vote.  Made my face feel all fizzy and sparkley with pride in my country.  Rubia was born in El Salvador.

I had four of my children with me yesterday, and was struck dumb staring at them gathered around me.  I look at them and see them as they were  when they were little.  We went to the Blackwall Hitch (named for a knot), and we all had seafood.  Pam was in Heaven, and we had a lot of laughs.  We came back here and talked for hours; mostly about the election and the state of the country.  Rob is the oldest, and, being both a lawyer and a CPA, he pontificated a lot.  We don't stand for much of it.  We hoot him down.  But we love him dearly, and it turns out that every single one of us had already voted.  And all for the same candidate.

Rob has promised to come on Wednesday and take me out to lunch.  I told him to wear something like a sweatshirt in case I need to cry all over his shoulder.  Actually, my tear ducts atrophied back in 1990; but my children and my cleaning ladies all assure me I will be happy come Wednesday morning.

Well, Chip is going to take me to the post office to mail a package.  I have a set of the entire Season 2 of Outlander to binge on tomorrow night.  Cannot bear to watch the returns this year.  Which reminds me of the very first election I became involved in.  I was 11, and living in Fort Knox, Kentucky, which was way over crowded and bustling that summer of 1940.  The Army was preparing for the war that most of our population did not know was coming.  We had the very last horse parade on that post that summer, as did many other cavalry posts.  The tears ran down our cheeks.  That was the 13th cavalry, and it was a parade to remember forever afterwards.  Then, when the horses left the field for the very last time, we heard an ominous rumbling come down the streets running along two sides of the parade ground.  The First Armored Division clanked along.  That autumn, the Second Armored was also born at Fort Knox.  Well, that was the summer I listened to a convention on the radio, and it went on forever.  And ever since that summer, whenever anyone does something good, I call out: "Give her (or him) a Wilkie button!

Good Afternoon.....

This is the first year,   that my
children and I are voting for the same
person....   (as 50%  are Dems and
the other 50% are Reps)   ....

But this year we all agree on Her....

But of course,  we will not know until
tomorrow night,  who will be our next
President.

I have to admit that it is nice that
we all are in agreement.
But I am sure that it will be the last
time.  So  I am enjoying it while
I can.....

Have a good day,  Everyone.

Patricia, I am wondering if you ever read Two Old Women by Velma Wallis. If you have, I am curious to know what you thought of it.  It is about two old women (hence the title) who were turned out of their tribe during a brutal winter. It is based on an Athabascan Indian legend. Perhaps you have heard the legend? We will be discussing it over on seniorlearn.org starting Nov. 14.

angelface555

Yes, I have heard of it. There was a long-running debate here and in the newspaper about the book, with many feeling that she was  scorning and shaming her people and their traditions and telling lies about the people. It was for awhile, quite bad, the reaction to her book.

While there are similar stories told about the plains Indians, especially the Sioux, no one has completely denied or verified these stories. I am familiar with the idea and that story because of the controversy even if I haven't read her books. She is from Ft. Yukon, just 138 miles N.E. of me and is frequently in Fairbanks.

Thanks for the info, Patricia. I'll keep that in mind as I read it. Maybe I can do some Googling about the controversy.

Sandy

MarsGal ...

I hope that you tooth issue is resolved
and getting better,  and healing nicely.

I don't go to Subway any longer...
As Mom said,  "I don't like their bread"
either.   And I am still very upset that
Subway put up with "Jared"  who
was into child porn etc.

IMHO,  they knew that he
was a pervert and let it go on
too long,  because he was
making them money.

I do like subs though,  so
when I get back to eating them
someday,  I will have to find a
good place to buy them.

Have a good Election Eve...

MarsGal, there are many different Native tribal members here but the majority are either Athabaskan, (Gwich'in); or Inuit, (Eskimo). Both types are very proud, very traditional and have a lot of rules for behavior. One example is that you take no photographs without permission. Another is that men are more dominant, hunters, fisherman, etc. And the tribe as a whole is more important than individuals. Ancestors are not so much worshiped  now but they are still revered. It is with this   background that Velma Wallis wrote that book.

MarsGal, I remember that book and the reviews very well.  I found it fascinating, but never bought and read it.  I was afraid I would be depressed by it.

But I am still a totally stressed out wreck.

I'm up and maybe atem now.  I voted the other day so I have that out of the way.  Tom isn't old enough yet to vote absentee so he'll go to his old Middle School to vote.  And he will vote!  Sandy, you won't like his vote but I won't tell you what I did!  Tom is a dedicated Republican, right or wrong.  I will say, like many of us, he doesn't like either person.

It looks like nice weather so there should be a good turnout.

When I'm really awake, I'll write more.  Right now I'm enjoying a cookie and a cup of flavored coffee.

A lovely, lovely morning has dawned here on the bay.  I have to work on a stack of this month's birthday cards and try to reorganize my address book in my new Xfinity email account; a truly tedious project.  Outlook Express crashed last week, and cannot, after 18 years, be restructured.  It faithfully followed me along and served me through 4 computers, and now has disappeared into Old Programs hell, wherever that hangs out!  After my chores are done, or I get bored to bits, whichever comes first, I am going to settle down to Season 2 of Outlander and binge on that all through election night returns.  One of my kids will let me know when it is all finally over.  Rob will come tomorrow to take me out to lunch, and daughter Elizabeth plans to come down to spend Inauguration Day with me.  They have it all figured out.
Have a beautiful day!
