Hi everyone on another beautiful South Carolina Day.  It is going to be warmer getting up to 89 degrees this afternoon.  So far the only thing on the schedule will be the Wednesday night dinner at church and then Scott's visit following.  I will probably go to the grocery store today for a few items.  Pat has been dealing with extreme tiredness and didn't feel up to going to the Senior Luncheon and program yesterday.  We had a good meal and a good program dealing with the history of Camellias in South Carolina and in particular those at one of the bed and breakfast places where a number of new varieties were propagated. I won't be planting any however as the lady said they are very slow growing and won't flower much before 10 years of growth.  She said there were over 400 known varieties of these flowers.

Sandy, you have snow yesterday  and our forecast for Friday is 95 degrees, way to warm for this time of the year.  However, I wouldn't want the snow. 

deedee, I wouldn't like to have to pay and administrative fee to have a bank account after all of these years.  We use the Credit Union for our banking and the one I have belonged to for many years has a free Senior's Account and free online bill pay. 

Kelly, I find it a bit difficult to believe your statement about Raquel Welch--now really!

Hi guys & gals!  I made it!!!  I will have to go back to the beginning to see what is going on.  In the meantime, Danny had a stroke while we were on our bus trip to DC, but he got taken to a hospital as soon as we got home and he is now home and recuperating.  Be back after I catch up.

It’s a beautiful day here today with the temperature about 60 degrees. 

Since the weather has settled down a bit, we buried Norm this morning.  Dot, Tom, Terry and Jan, Jan’s parents and I were there.  Both Jan and Tom are ordained ministers, so both read passages from the Bible.  A cemetery man put the box in the hole and covered it, after which we left.  In Norm’s memory, we went to Mr Burger, aka Cholesterol Pit, for lunch.   Norm and his friend, Gordie, also now deceased, used to go there weekly for lunch.  It is the same place Dot and I go after church on Sunday.  It was a nice little ceremony and I know we all are happy that Norm is at rest.

MaryAnn, I cried. I miss his humor, kindness, and photography. Above all, I miss my online friend and all those online friends who went before.

But I know that is but a drop in the bucket to your feelings and the rest of his family's.

Patricia and MaryPage, thank you both for your sentiments.  We all miss Norm in different ways.  B&T people saw a different Norm than we did at home.  But it had to be that way.  Dot found a nice box for Norm's ashes, it had some ornamentation on it, but was very masculine.  He is now resting in peace.
