Jeanne, many emails have setups that you can use to read all of your different email on their site. Is it possible that you have set up more than one email account to read all of the email accounts?

Jane.  I think I have really messed up my Gmails.  Done all I can think to do and can't get it back the way it  was.  Believe it was me thinking that When I was having a problem with the GMail acct the the other day. I went in and open up a different E-M address with them. Used one I had a long time ago and deleted it. That wasn't going to work and so I deleted it out. Then tried my one again that I had working good up to last week.  Just changed the Password a little.

It seems that I can send out E-M but can't receive.  Was told that if you Cancel out a Gmail acct. then they will not accept you opening it up again or any other using a Address lot like it.  that must be right because I have sent out E-M to the usual people I do daily and no one has answered.
Think I am going to have to get someone in to Redo  most all the E-Mail Accounts  as I have giving that Gmail one to most every thing I do on the Internet
Now Internet works fine.
I will just sent a E-M out again to you. Using the  gmjeannep2@gmai.com account . When you have time could you send one to that address and we will see what happens.
Can't do it with friends as I have sent and I know they would have answered but I just don't get them.  Will try a couple of people on S and F and see if they will send one also.
What a mess.  If it was a Internet problem Comcast would help me but they won't for other peoples E-M programs .

Jeanne, could you possibly contact someone directly at Google to see if they can help you?

Mary.  I have never found anyway one can contact google. I have looked for Tel. No. or anyplace that says Service where you can send them a E-M.

Try asking a question just on the google home page?  Something like "how do I consolidate multiple gmail addresses?"  You might find others who have had the same problem.

JeanneP --- I did get an email from you. Did a reply to and it did NOT bounce (yet).

Rammel.  Spent 2 hours with Comcast Monday. (They have a office close to me). The then passed my problem onto A tech later to try and figure the problems with the E-M accounts.  Seems that they did work on my computer internally.  I let them have my Password.  Does seem to be working better. 
Going to send out some E-M to friends to see if they can now send to me.

Only thing is one thing is coming up now when I am on the Internet.  I have Firefox for my browser. (Think going to go back to Int. Exp ) late
Now what happens is.  On every Web site I go in now this message comes up along the top.

Concast don't recommend Firefox at all. says lots of problems now. They  Didn't fix that.

Jeanne, in your Firefox settings, there is a box to click if you do not want popups. If you clicked that box in settings, you will see that message.

Patricia, at one time you told me about Adblock and I put that on my computer.  Now I get messages from certain sites asking me to remove or disable Adblock because the ads pay for the site so I can get the site free.  I love not getting the ads I was getting and I am not going to disable Adblock!

MaryAnn, Adblock and Adblock Plus work. I only see online adverts within my Microsoft Mahjong game and nowhere else. Many websites are paid by the ad companies and they are beginning to fight back by restricting your use of the sites unless you remove the  blocker. I agree with you.

Patricia, I haven't been restricted by any site  - yet, but I do see that request often.  I was getting so many ads before I put in Adblock and until I lose ability to use many sites, I'll keep Adblock!

I just got a news alert that Yahoo had a huge data breach, affecting 500 million accounts.  So, if you use yahoo a lot, you may want to check on that.

However, it happened in late 2014!  And they're just telling people in late Sept. 2016?
Incredible.  I'm glad I use their email only for ad stuff .

Jane, that might be one of the reasons why Yahoo went bankrupt and into receivership.

I know that Microsoft and Google took some of the larger pieces, but I haven't heard anything else for a long while.

Indeed, Angelface, I agree. The news said something about the "merger" or whatever and apparently that's when all of this came to the attention of the news media.  But...wow...2014 and they're just now acknowledging it?  Hmmmm...

I know Jane, but many of the items coming out in the news are from events a year or more in the past. I wonder if that has to do with a disclosing rule or procedure?

Just say the news on Yahoo.  I  know a lot of people who have had it for years.  I always had it on most my computers for just to use as a E-M address for things on Line.  Took it off my desktop as a Icon . Still open I think but very seldom anything in it.  Adds once in awhile. I need to close it down. Never seen a place to do that.

Rick, any suggestion where I can d/l a larger arrow <cursor> for my computer?  Yes, I did try the one within the system.  Not large enough.

A friend here had the Yahoo as part of her AT&T phone/TV package and it totally messed her up.  Had to get AT&T to help her get everything straightened out.  Was a lengthy process, she said.

I think I have Yahoo on my Amazon Fire reader, wonder if that needs to be fixed? Anyone here have it on Fire? Let me know what you had to do to "fix" it, if you have already.

Speaking of technology glitches:  Tuesday our TV was working great, Wednesday evening we turned it on, and the little green light was just flashing on the TV, the Dish  receiver lights were on, and I could see TV on the bedroom TV.
Thought my surge protector had gone completely out, put the plug into the wall socket instead, and rcd. TV but with strange channel numbers.  Couldn't access the Dish service. Finally called Dish (they take a long time but can usually talk you thru a problem).  The nice gentleman (from another country) talked me thru, step by step, into "reprogramming" my Remote control. (lots of steps!!) but got 'er done in maybe 20-25 minutes of following instructions.  Had our viewing pleasure back!  Told the hubby, he could probably get along well without me, but take his TV away, and he is distraught, to say the least.
Phew.  If I can remember the steps the guy took me thru in case that ever happens again with the remote...

Jane. Jack.  I have gone into my Profile in S and F.  Tried to change my E-M address in there.  Cant delete the one in.

Now I have tried again.  Went in to do profile over . can type it in but it will not accept my password in order to change it.

Comcast sent me a E-M saying that they have now got every thing in order but I am finding a few changes in the way I have things set up on this Desktop.
I could get into S and F without having to sign in again so they didnt  clean my cookies etc.

JeanneP  you probably tried, but believe S and F   want your log in password, not your email password.   If you tried that and unable to change, may be time for Oldiesman.    I do not even include my email address in my profile, but send it to several in the discussions.

Jack. No I didn't put in my E-M Pass Word. Did the one I have to get into S and F when ever i have to sign in again.  Not had to do that in a long time.  I will just leave E-M out for now.
