Teasel: used primarily, now, in dried flower arrangements and crafts. Formerly, teasel was often used to comb wool and raise nap. A few wool crafters still use it today. In the US it is considered an invasive plant, but in Europe it is sometimes planted to encourage birds like the European Goldfinch.
