Hi Larry, it is good to hear from you today.  I hope rest will give you more energy.

We are having a sunny day and might get up to 70 degrees.  Later this week, maybe over the weekend, the temperature will be down in the 40s maybe even into the 30s with rain and possible snow.  We don't need that!

Robin did a good job of cleaning yesterday but she puts things back where I can't find them.  I think she doesn't think "short" when she puts things back.  Today I wanted to make some Instant Breakfast and I have everything except I can't find the packets.  I know there were two or three last time I looked.  I hate to ask Tom if he knows anything about them but I think he may have been in the kitchen at the time.  Oh well, there is cereal to use up some of the milk!

Do you realize there were no posts between Joan's at 2:26 pm and Larry's post of 9:40 this morning?  (Both times are my time - EDT).  I like to have something to respond to in making most of my posts so that is why I didn't write anything.

Good Morning...MARYANN and ALL💐💐

Your are right, it is hard to respond if there is not much to respond to.

I, too, have the same issue about not being able to reach things, especially in the kitchen cabinets.  Seems I am always calling for Bob to come help me😢😢

We have a new cleaning service coming this morning.....however, they did not text me the day before, as stated that they would, so who knows of they will show up?

MARILYNE, best of luck for AJ today at the dermatologist office.  Bob had a few procedures done last year and they all looked awful and we thought sure they were infected.  Thankfully we have our son, Dr. Dave and he looked at them and made suggestions and it turned out well.  Bob has some doozy of scars, but thankfully the cancer is gone.

Have a good day.

Another beautiful day.  It is 71 degrees and we will have a high of 74.  Made a trip to the library yesterday so will see if I like any of the books I got.  I don't waste time on books that I don't like.  I don't read many digital books as it causes pressure in my eyes even when I change the color to beige.  I take two different eye prescriptions for the pressure so try to be as careful as possible.

Larry, you have low blood pressure and I have high blood pressure.  Well, I wish I could help you out and give you some of my high blood pressure. 😁  All kidding aside, I do hope your day gets better.

Patricia, hope your weather improves soon along with your health.  The long sunny days should be there soon.

Marilyne, I'm thinking about your husband and hoping the doctor gets that infection taken care of.  My LarryJ had two cancers removed from behind his ear area and has regular checkups with the dermatologist.  He always comes back with something removed on his face or neck.  I never had the patience to lay out in the sun for suntans when I was young and didn't often go to the beach—-too many jelly fish in the Chesapeake Bay where we swam.

Life is very quiet here with just a dog barking.  Our new neighbor that moved in next door has two bull dogs, but they hardly ever bark.  The neighbor on the other side also has a quiet dog.  We will be keeping our daughter's two little dogs in August when she and hubby go on vacation.  One of the dogs is a barker so we will be having plenty of noise then. 😊

Mary Ann, are most of your neighbors older?  I hope you have been able to sit out on your deck and enjoy some warm weather.

I love reading everyone's post and think of you all even tho I don't mention each individually.  Have a good day, everyone.

Jenny and Marilyn, I've had a couple of skin cancers and had the same doctor both times, several years apart, and there is no scar and no one would know I had anything done.  I don't have other things that must be taken care of, in fact, I don't go for checkups, but I do know who to see in case something unusual crops up.

Yes Jenny, you are fortunate to have a doctor in the family.  I have a nurse who is a big help.  She is Terry's widow and any time I have a question, I either call or e-mail her and get a prompt reply.

Jean, I have high blood pressure and take a med for it.  My BP is in the 120-130/70 range which satisfies the doctor.  I will go for my yearly checkup in May.  I played in the sun when I was young and in high school I'd go to Grand Haven with my Sunday school class and lay in the hot sun and get very sunburned.  My dad once told me I could get the same results by putting my arm in the oven and I think that struck a chord and I did not sunbathe after that.  I didn't stay out of the sun, I just didn't try to get a tan and I have pretty good skin, few wrinkles at my age.

Jean, no, most of my neighbors are younger, in fact, I think all of them still work.  At one time I was the  youngest, but that is no longer true.

Tom located the Instant Breakfast for me so that will be my brunch.

Mary Ann

Marilyne

Good Morning everyone.

The dermatologist said no infection in the area that was treated.  There was a drainage, but that is to be expected from a area so large.  It extends along the ear fold, and then over the top and back behind the ear. An incredible amount of stitches!  I was glad I went with him, because the nurse showed me how to make a nice secure bandage to cover the area.  It has to be changed every day, and it's a difficult area to bandage.

Jenny and Jean - AJ also has lots of scars and areas on his face and forearms, that have been treated over the years.  He has a fair complexion. Although he was born in Minnesota, they moved to Southern CA, when he was only six years old, so he was raised there . . .  where the sun shines 360 days of the year!

I grew up there too, and back in those days, we played outside every single day, in the blazing sun.  It's no wonder we are all now paying the price, with skin cancers on our faces and everywhere else as well.

I spent all my summers at Long Beach, in the water, or lying in the sun.  No hat - no sunscreen - no beach umbrellas, and no wetsuits for the surfers.  My brother was a surfer, and he was also a blond with fair skin.  He ended up with the same skin cancers that AJ and I have.

Jenny - I had to laugh when you said you call Bob to come and help you reach things out of the high cupboards.  Same here!  I used to be able to reach those shelves, but now I can't!  I especially need his help with opening cans, jars, and plastic containers, as I have no strength left in my hands, and cannot seem to securely grip anything!  He also cleans up the mess
I make when I drop something on the kitchen floor - which is just about every day!  ::)

Well, I've certainly written enough today . . . better stop and start in on the daily activities.

Denver

hahaha, MARILYNE. Same here, I also have to call for help to open things up and I, too, drop stuff and make a mess all the time.  My hands have no strength in them at all.  Thankful for our hubby help!  It makes me feel so much better that I have company with all of my "needs" all the time.  We had a house cleaner come in today.  Tried one about three weeks ago and she was no better than I can do, and that is NOT MUCH!  There were 3 ladies, and I am very pleased to say they did a wonderful job.  It is pricey, but it sure makes me feel good to know that my home is clean.

Very happy to read that there is no infection in AJ's wound. Sure is better to go have it looked at than worry about it.  My hubby was raised on Panama City Beach FL. and it is a miracle that he never had any skin issues until last year....and he is 74.  Thankful that I was not one to sit out and suntan, but I did play outside all the time, and of course we did not have sunscreen nor did we cover ourselves.  Both Bob and I are very light complected also.  Every time he goes in to the dermatologist for a check though, she is cutting or burning something off.  Seem one you get started, it is an on going issue.  Two of his things were melanomas so he will forever be getting checked now.  Do you mind me asking where you are located in Cali now?  I L💓VE California and would be more than happy to live out there for the beautiful weather.  We have one son that lives in Paso Robles.

JEAN, it appears your hubby has plenty experience with dermatology also.  We, too, keep Grand dogs quite frequently, but thankfully neither of them are barkers either, but they do let us know if something is around!  We do not have any close doggies in our neighborhood either, so do not have an issue with that, but we do have coyotes and they sure get to raising cane every so often.  My one thing I do not like at all when we are at a beach is jellyfish either....

MARYANN, happy the lost was found and now you can have your Instant Breakfast!

I worked so hard watching the new cleaners clean; that I am too tired to fix a meal, so we are going out! Hahahha

More later,

Jenny

Mary Ann

Jenny, the reason I wanted the Instant Breakfast was that Tom bought me some milk the other day and I have to use it to get rid of it.  I had cereal yesterday and I could have had it again today.  I also had a banana to use up and it was a bit ripe for cereal.  I have enough liquid Instant Breakfast now to last at least another day, if not some for another day.

Dot made some bean soup, enough to feed an army so now she must get rid of some.  Tom is going to get a container from her and that will be my supper = because - when Tom came home, he had a Mc D's malted.  I still have salad that Dot made too much of and the bad part is that I bought a salad bag and I have to use that up.  I'm the only one is my family that things I should eat more salad.  I ordered some tomatoes "on the vine" and instead of four, the store sent five.  I'm working on that.

I'm surprised I don't have more problems with my skin because I was outside a lot.  We didn't have much shade except from the houses but we climbed trees which provided some shade and we played in an empty house where the sun didn't shine.

Tom has left to pick up the soup from Dot and that will be my supper.  Dot also gave Tom a camera Norm had that is too heavy for her.

Hi Everyone.  We are supposed to have a cloudy and light rain morning and then this afternoon it is to clear out and we will have some wind.  We will get only into the high 70's today.  Yesterday was another lost day for me in that I was up only 2 hours in the morning and then 3 hours around supper time.  I wasn't sleeping during this time but too weary to stay up and spent the hours with my eyes closed and listening to my audio book.  I am hoping today will be better but still pretty weary.  I plan on spending 2 hours here in my office as have some things that I would like to get done or at least start on.  I don't have anything I need to leave the house for until next Tuesday when I have another doctor's appointment.  Scott was here again yesterday afternoon late and spent a few hours with us.  He helped his mother in the kitchen in fixing the mac and cheese with ham in the Instant Pot and it was delicious.

While I don't feel up to trying to make comments to everyone I will try to offer a few comments today.  I read all the comments since I posted yesterday before I got up this morning using my iPhone.

Jenny, so happy to see you found a cleaning service who does he job you want and are satisfied with their work.  Several times over the years we have had housekeepers where two of them worked as a team.  It is well worth while and Pat can relate to your being tired when they finish even though they do the work.  You still have to let them know what you want done but if you get the same crew every time they will learn so it will be only a special little something that might be needed that is a bit out of routine.  We usually went out to eat our main meal either at noon or the late afternoon on housecleaning days for two reasons, Pat was tired and it was nice to not mess up the kitchen at least for one day.

Jean, have you tried listening to audio books?  I know it is not the same as holding a book but it sure is easier on the eyes and having a professional reader adds a lot to the story.

Marilyne, certainly glad there was no infection for AJ.  I did have a carcinoma on my upper lip that was removed by the MOHS procedure and that left no visible scar and no re-occurrence.  I did have a couple of spots taken off a couple of years ago but the dermatologist was surprised I didn't have more spots since I grew up on a farm and was exposed to the sun a lot and am very light skinned.  I am beginning to have a few age spots and those barnacles but not bad for my age.  Bandaging an ear or certain other places on our face are not easy to do. It is a bit humiliating when you no longer are strong enough to open some bottles and have to ask your wife to do it but reality is reality.

Mary Ann, we love bean soup with a little ham in it from a ham bone.  We usually use those bagged salads and occasionally have to discard some of it.

Mary Ann

Larry, I am sure it is frustrating to be awake but too tired to do anything but lie down.  That is how I felt about a year ago when I slept all day.  When Tom took me to the ER we found I was low on potassium.  I'm not suggesting that is your problem because you know how your health goes - some days up, other days down.

We are at 56 degrees now and I think we'll get to the high 60s today.  The sun is shining and as I've said before, that makes it a nice day.

I saw a couple of ships on the St Clair River this morning and one was Paul, headed toward the Soo but it will take a while because Lake Huron is next.

Mary Ann

Marilyne

Larry - Nice to see a long message from you this morning. Now you can relax for the rest of the day, and watch TV, or listen to an audio book.  AJ had the Moh's surgery on his other ear, and was supposed to have the same thing on this ear.  However, it was too large of an area, and too deep, so the doctor preferred to do stitches only.

Mary Ann - Sorry I keep missing Paul. Maybe I can catch a glimpse at The Soo?  I guess he'll be heading back to Duluth, which is the best place to get a good look, plus all the bells and whistles!

My outside thermometer says 56 right now also, only we're expected to get into the mid 70's today.  That sounds good to me, because once it hits 80 degrees, I am worthless!

Jenny - I'm wondering if you and Bob are hockey fans?  If so, you will be watching the Colorado Avalanche, play the San Jose Sharks, tonight!  AJ, and our son Brad, are both hockey fanatics!  I like it too, and always watch when, or if, the Sharks get in the Stanley Cup playoff's.

We live just outside San Jose, in the small town of Los Gatos. Well, it used to be a small town, but is now becoming a large and overly crowded town! The Tech Industry of Silicon Valley, as changed everything here in the Bay Area.  I am familiar with Paso Robles!  My niece lived there for years, and I used to drive down to see her, on my way to my dad's place in Southern California. I really liked Paso, and all of the surrounding areas. At the time that she lived there, the San Miguel Mission was being restored, and I used to like stopping there to watch the progress.  Also, one of my favorite small towns near there that I especially like, is Cambria.  We talked about retiring there many years ago, but it was just too far from our kids and grandkids, here in the San Jose area.

Mary Ann

Marilyn, Paul has just reached the bottom of Lake Huron on the way to the Soo and the icon says he/she is headed for Superior.  If you catch him at the Soo, it will take approximately two days to get to Superior and/or Duluth.

I've been retired nearly 33 years and yesterday I received an invitation to the retirement of a woman I worked with a short time before I retired.  From info on the Internet, it looks like she went to the head office in Jackson, which I did not know.  I would like to send her a card and I guess I'm going to have to send one to the company Human Resources Department because I doubt I'll want to go out to the building to the party.  The Internet only gives the city where she may or may not live and I don't want to send a card and have it go back and forth in the state trying to find her!  Her retirement isn't until late June so I've got time.

Tom has left to teach and then will go to Holland to spend some time with one of his lady friends.  He has been busy this week and says he feels it.  I felt very neglected this past week as he was gone most of the time.  He's got to slow down, but only he can slow himself down.

We're up to 60 degrees now.

Mary Ann

Mary Ann

Marilyn, I was checking the Duluth times and noticed Paul is due tomorrow at 3 pm.  The Soo icon says he's headed for Superior.  I wonder if the left hand knows what the right is doing!

Mary Ann

Marilyne

Mary Ann, Looks like I'll miss Paul again tomorrow.  Three PM Duluth time, would be 1:00 pm here, and I happen to have an appointment to have my hair cut, at exactly that time! :(  One of these days, I'll be in the right place at the right time!

Mary Ann

Marilyn, be sure to check the time tomorrow because we both know how they change often.

Lee Tregurtha just went north at Marine City and while they were in view, another ship - Harbour Fashion - went the other direction.  There is another ship due shortly so I'll wait for that before I do anything else.

I made an appointment the other day for a dentist appointment in July and Tom said I have a haircut appointment that day.  It is easier to change the haircut than it would be to change the dentist date.

I think I'll check the mail, then I may take a nap.

Mary Ann

MarsGal

It has been raining off and on all day today. Since I didn't feel like lugging grocery through the rain, I stayed home and have just finished a book that I was able to send back to the library before time ran out in three days. I see it is pouring out again. Oh, and now thunder. Tomorrow I hope to mow the lawn. Darn!

Last evening I saw a ship called Algonova. It must have just gotten a new paint job because there isn't a scratch on her, at least not on the other side which is the side I saw. Pretty and bright. considering the cargo she carries, I guess they want to make sure others see her coming. https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:381689/mmsi:316013209/imo:9378589/vessel:ALGONOVA

Mary Ann

MarsGal, I saw the Algonova and also saw a ship AlgoCanada.  Both looked in good condition.  I noticed the Algonova was built in 2008 which makes it a fairly new ship.

It's too bad it is raining so you can't mow.  Even if it doesn't rain tomorrow, the grass might be wet enough to prevent you from mowing.

Good evening raining again

Jenny to night I just dropped a whole box of dry cat food, it even reached the dining room :o  I really do not have the energy to pick it up as breathing is very bad

Larry all of a sudden I have low blood pressure, Problem has always been high.  Nurse has been here 3 times this week and she is only suppose to come once a week. Aide was also here to day and washed my hair. A volunteer was here yesterday a lovely person, who will take me out once a week if I have to go somewhere.

Marry Ann. our new IHop on the corner from me, has and add saying you can order on the computer, and your food will be ready to be picked up I think I might try it. I will try there sausage and biscuits.

Sandy, my grandson and his companion are moving to Main. I forgot to ask where.

Gloria, that is a great convenience to be able to order meals from IHop and how nice it is close to you.  Our IHop is not too far, but it is not near, either, maybe three or four miles.  If we wanted it, Tom could get it.  We have a few restaurants within a couple of miles where we eat once a week.  I usually bring home half of my order, regardless if it is a sandwich or meal - I usually get a sandwich when eating out because it is easier to eat in a restaurant for me.

I hope you are getting along OK but it sounds as if your low blood pressure is not good.

Mary Ann

Denver

Good evening.

Getting ready to watch our Colorado Avalanche (hopefully) beat the San José Sharks!

I have just read your post, MARILYNE.  OH YES, as you just read we are indeed Avalanche Fans and are watching the game with your team right now. I do not know if I will be watching the entire game tonight as I am already having trouble keeping my eyes open.  We really like Paso, too, and would consider a move there but our son may not be there too much longer.  Sadly, the golf club he is the pro at is for sale and it thought that anytime a club is purchased they generally want to bring in their own professional.  He is looking at a couple of jobs in the Carmel Valley, and we would like that area if it were not so expensive.  I, too, love Cambria.  One of my cousins lived there until she passed a couple of years ago.

GLORIA de, I am Happy that you are getting care as needed now.  It appears you have some very caring people that are coming to see you.  If your nephew moves to Maine will he be closer to you than he is now?  How nice to have a new iHop near you.  It sure would be nice if they could deliver an order to you.  Sorry you dropped the box of cat food......I hope some one can come and help you get it picked up.....you sure do not need to be bending over!  I do hope your BP settles down to a safer number. HUGS to you.

LARRY, I forgot to use the excuse for eating out after the house cleaners were here was to not mess up the nice shiny clean stove!!  I sure slept well last night.....I think I have been a bit stressed about the new cleaners coming, and I felt so good about how it went that I could totally rest well last night.  I appreciate the comments you made about it being easier after a couple of times of them coming that they will know what to do automatically.  Take care and keep resting as needed to help you get through the day.  I am sure happy that Scott is there and can help you and Pat as needed.

We have received weather warnings tonight and I will say the wind has been really strong and concerning, but so far there is nary a drop of moisture as they predicted there would be!

Pleasant dreams to all,
Jenny

A good Saturday morning to all !

I have been missing for a few days,  Just nothing exciting to talk about.

It is a sunny morning, but still a little chilly. The big pine trees across the driveway from my window, are really blowing. We had a bad thunderstorm  yesterday afternoon, but nice and sunny today.  I almost turned the thermostat up a little, but decided just to bundle up a little more.  I am still wearing my winter robe and it feels good.

As I mentioned, nothing exciting happening in my little corner of the world.

I am expecting a grocery order a little later this morning, so I need to get dressed and clean up my breakfast dishes.  Then, I will have that "fun" job of putting it all away.

Larry, I hope you have a better day today.  I can imagine how frustrated you are with feeling so tired all the time.  Glad that your son is able to help you out.  I know that is much appreciated by both you and Pat.

Mary Ann, I hope you will have a wonderful day today at your birthday celebration, along with some of your family,  I know how special you are to them, and I am sure they will show you a lot of love today.  Plus, you will have a chance to see the twins again.   Have fun!!!

Hope everyone else will have a nice, enjoyable day.

The best laid plans of mice and men - just got changed.  Tom has been calling the country club all week to make the reservation and they did not call him back.  So we are going to Timbers, a restaurant north of us that we like very much.  Tom is in the process of calling others to let them know of the change.  Fortunately, there are only four people to call.  Dot will ride with us and I mentioned it to her.  We've taken Dot there for her birthday a couple of times so she is familiar with the place.

Larry, I'm sorry you are still weary and I wish you would have enough spunk to hold up your head.  I am sure it is tiresome feeling tired all of the time.

I've just gotten out of the shower so I don't know what anyone's weather has been overnight.  Jenny, you were expecting a lot of wind.  It was windy here yesterday and one of our deck chairs moved a few feet.  They're too heavy to be blown away.

It is about 40 degrees here at 9:45 am and we are expecting bad weather this afternoon into tomorrow morning.

I've developed a crick in my left leg just below the knee.  I'll ask James' wife about it because she is a sports trainer.  I hope there isn't too much therapy involved.  I can walk, but it does hurt a bit.  It's an age problem - and I have the age!!!

Hi Everyone.  We are going to have a gorgeous day here in South Carolina with clear skies and a high into the low 80's.  It was so nice yesterday that I spend an hour or more sitting on our front porch yesterday afternoon as it was in the mid to high 70's with a nice wind.  I did have a good day yesterday and hope for the same today although my shower and getting dressed left me very weary and by the time I got to the kitchen I couldn't keep my head up again until I sat down and rested.  Pat mentioned getting a hair cut today and if I am up to it I may go with her as I sure need a haircut.

Mary Ann, my potassium was checked this week and it is ok.  I have been retired 25 years and a number of the trainees I had over the years have now also retired.

Marilyne, I did finish one audio book and got about half way through a second one last evening.  It is only 6 hours whereas many of them are 10 hours or more.

MarsGal, the library where we did live had no fines for those over 65 but that isn't the situation over here.  I now check out only audio books or ebooks and they automatically are returned at the end of the three weeks so no danger of having to pay a fine.

Lindancer, glad you didn't try to pick up that dry cat food as it isn't very important and sure the next person who comes by will gladly deal with that for you.  It sounds like you are getting good and attentive treatment.  I have been eating very little these last months since my health failed and I can still add a pound some days and then it is gone the next day.  I have lost almost 25 pounds since January and could stand to lose a lot more but sure never planned to do it with a lose of appetite.  Maybe your cat brought some of that dry cat food into the living area for snacks later.  :)

Jenny, never too late to use that excuse to go out to eat on Housekeeping day.

Joy, if I had to have something exciting to write I likely wouldn't even post.  I think we are interested in what our normal lives involve on a daily basis and often our days are repetitive especially when one seldom leaves their home.  It is frustrating to have so little energy as I expect many of us can relate to.

angelface555

Good morning from the Interior where we are back into snowless fifty to sixty degree days and sunshine. All is the same here, still recovering but I am feeling better. I'm glad to see you posting more Larry.

Mary Ann

Larry, you are so right about nothing to write about when/if we don't leave our homes.  I sometimes go to the mailbox and that is my only outing until the temperature gets a bit higher.  Right now we are at 43 degrees and that is not "sitting on the deck" weather.  Besides, the cushions are still in the storage room.  If I had to wait until I had something exciting to write about, I'd never post.  And you can see from the number of posts, I've written about nothing many times.

This morning I looked at the Soo map and Paul was heading for Superior so I saw most of his trip through the Soo.  I saw Paul yesterday afternoon on the St Clair River so I'd say at takes about 20 hours to get from Marine City to the Soo.  On the other hand, Paul might have anchored someplace.

Time for brunch and to get dressed for this afternoon's festivities.

Mary Ann

Marilyne

Mary Ann - I agree with what you said - "If I had to wait until I had something exciting to write about, I'd never post"!  As it is now, I usually mention if I happen to go grocery shopping, or out to a restaurant for dinner.(Yippee!)  Other than that, nothing of much interest is happening here!  Occasionally we have a visit from one of the adult kids or grandkids, but that doesn't happen every week!    Today will be a good day for you, so we expect to hear all about your birthday luncheon at Timbers.  :)   Sounds like most of your family members will be there to celebrate with you!

Oh - almost forgot!  I have the excitement of a hair cut appointment this afternoon! Ha!  Actually I do like to go, because I'm friends with Josie, the woman who has been doing my hair for about 25 years.  We exchange all the latest news about our families, and I always feel good when I leave.

Patricia - Good to see you here this morning, and glad that you're feeling better.  Soon your ever changing weather will settle down, and you can look forward to those long summer days!

Jackie - We haven't heard from you in a couple of days?  I hope that things are still moving along, and running as smoothly as can be expected in a situation like this.  Keep us posting on the funeral service, and all of the other details that must be addressed?

Joy - I noticed that you were missing for a few days also, so good to have you back.  I hope that you now have the webcam for Marine City??  I like that cam a lot, because we can read the ongoing chat, to the right side of the screen.  The people who chat back and forth there, know so much about all the ships, and I like to read what they have to say.

Gloria de - sounds like you're feeling reasonably good, even with your kidney and heart problems?  I surely do hope that your nephew or your dil comes to stay with you?  You do have some very thoughtful neighbors, and I know you are grateful that they come to check on you.

Jenny - Happy as I am that the Sharks won last night, I feel bad for the Colorado Avalanche. :(   They seem like such a nice group of players, without the mean-streak, that some of the teams have!  Be thankful that they didn't have to play the Las Vegas Knights!  Oh dear, that team is just plain vicious!  As you might have heard, three of the our players were injured very badly in the last game. The Sharks captain, was deliberately knocked to the ice, and has a fractured skull.  He will be out for whatever games are left.

Denver

I only have a couple of minutes to say HELLO as we are going to go meet our oldest son and spend a bit of time with him before his flight back to Boston.  He came in Tuesday, and he and the youngest son spent time at the oldest son place in Vail.  They recently had the kitchen remodeled and some flooring and he wanted to check on that and have the youngest son help him with some cable issues.  Anyway, he needs to run a few errands and we have offered to drive him around then we will have a bite to eat before we take him to the airport.

MARILYNE, we really did enjoy watching the game last night, and yes, I did make it to the end.  I was sorry the Aves did not win but the Sharks did play well and we are in a for a exciting series.  I am aware of those nasty Knights, and I am not fond of dirty playing where injuries are intentional.  I am sorry the player That is out for the season with that serious of an injury.  It is just sad he misses playing in these games.

I want to say more but I really must go.  I WILL be back!

Have a fun time at your Birthday Party, MARYANN🎂🎂

Patricia, I am happy to see a post from you today.  If your weather settles down maybe you'll start to feel better.

Jenn, for some reason I thought Dr Dave was your oldest son, but the son from Boston is not Dr Dave.  It is hard keeping track of families.

We don't have a large family and only Geoff from CA and his family will be missing, however, we will be able to talk with him and his darling Isaiah, two years old.  I am sure I mentioned this previously, but Geoff married a Chinese/American woman and their son looks very Chinese and has dark eyes and back hair.  We expect Tim's daughter, Paula, her husband, Eric, their daughter, Avery, from the East Lansing area.  Tom has masterminded the affair and his son, James, wife, Alicia, and twins, Johanna and Eleanor, are next in line.  As far as I know Annie/Cate will be alone.  Jan, Terry's widow, will come with daughter, Erin and her SO, Andy, from Indianapolis.  And that leaves Dot and me.  That should total 11 adults and 3 children.  I don't mind going to Timbers instead of Reds; we've been there before and liked it

Talk about having nothing to say -

Just been looking at Richards calendar in his bedroom and saw he had written Petra ( my dog) for the 11th April with a 10 circled, meaning it was 10 years to the date that I lost her...I had always said it was an Easter Saturday but Richard always went by the actual date...Well it was 11th April when I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis 4 years ago, and it was 11th April the day Richard died...I am now always going to remember that date of 11th April and not for nice or pleasant reasons...to say that date is bad luck and a bad omen..
