I've been AWOL for most of the week but have kept up with the posts.

Jackie - Glad you saw the GYN and hope you get some relief soon.

We've had hot weather lately but it always seems to cool off later with a thunder shower. Today the thunder has been almost non-stop and we had a downpour around 7:00.

Jenny - I hope your brother's surgery went well. You've had one worry after another! Today, with laparoscopy, gall bladder surgery is much easier. Those portable oxygen devices won't work for your sister-in-law? That's unfortunate. She must feel so confined to home.

Mary Ann - I made a version of a tuna melt for supper tonight using an English muffin, tuna salad, sliced pineapple and Swiss cheese. I got the idea from a restaurant in Vermont where it used to be on the menu. Mine didn't quite compare but it was pretty good.  :)

Jean - I get along well with the vest but I think the one I have is too large. They've shipped a smaller one to me. I do think it helps.

Marilyne - A while back you asked if I live close enough to my daughter to spend time with her. She lives in Vermont and I'm in Florida. We talk often on the phone. I'll be up there for two weeks in September. Her biggest problem so far is fatigue.

Good night all.

Hi Beverly - and anyone else who looks in.  It has been warm here too and the a/c has been running often.  I just came in from sitting on my deck.  It gets dark sooner, but I enjoy sitting there as long as it is comfortable.  The cat spends time out there with me.

Tom is with two friends, had supper in Newaygo and I don't know where they might have gone afterward.  One of the friends lives in Phoenix and both of his parents died a couple of weeks ago.  He is here for another week, getting rid of stuff as they have sold the house to a neighbor.  The other friend  lives in Grand Rapids and Newaygo isn't quite a half-way point, but it takes an hour to go from here to Fremont where the AZ friend is at present.

When you go to Vermont, Beverly, will you drive or fly?  That is quite a distance to drive, but it's nice to have your own car.  I plan to go to Indps in late October and two Toms will meet in central Indiana and I'll switch cars then we will repeat the process a few days later - a long weekend.

Beverly, your version of the tuna melt sounds good.  Ours doesn't have pineapple in it.  I think everyone who makes it, uses different seasonings.  Even the same chain as where Dot and I eat has a different taste at another location.  It's our "standby"!

Mary Ann

Thank you for the many nice comments regarding my brother.  He is doing well, but did have to be opened up VS it being done laparoscopically.  He should be released to go home tomorrow.

BEVERLY, my sisters-in-law needs so much oxygen that she pretty much does not have enough unless she is on the big home concentrator.  If she uses the old tanks she goes through them in just over one half hour.  As you probably remember our DIL's issue was the total fatigue that she has had to deal with during her chemo.  I certainly hope your daughter will feel much better as she progresses.  Do you know how many treatments she is scheduled to have?  Michele was scheduled for 12 treatments every other week.  In addition she has to take 8 pills a day X 2. Your Daughter is certainly in my thoughts and prayers.

Pleasant dreams to all.

Good morning.  Kind of quiet this morning.  I do see where Jenny was here in the wee hours of this morning.

I am just marking my place.

I wanted to say Good morning.  Too early for me to have any exciting news. It just takes me so long to get moving in the morning.  It looks a little cloudy, but the sun looks like it might be trying to make an appearance.  It is still quite warm tho.  Supposed to be a nice week end coming up.

I will check back later.

Have a great day.

Joy
BIG BOX

Mary Ann

I was here earlier but probably did not leave a message.  It's too early for me to have anything happen, exciting or not.

Tom said he had not seen Dot in some time, so we invited her for lunch tomorrow and we'll decide then where to go.  My choice right now is a deli out at Cannonsburg, about 10 miles NE of here.  Their full sandwiches are $9 and humongous and include a pickle and a bag of chips.  I eat half of the sandwich and bring the other half and the chips home, sometimes I eat the pickle or bring that home.

Tom took a neighbor/friend to the doctor this morning.  He doesn't charge her but she always gives him some money, maybe $20 (I do not know because I don't ask).

Today will be another grocery day.  >:(  We got lots of stuff last time but not any food!  It seems we spend more on household items than we do on what we eat.

Not much going on here besides the HOT weather, but, thankfully, we have AC so don't suffer as long as we are housebound.

Marilyne, after mentioning Paul arriving yesterday, I got busy and completely forgot to check the webcam.  I guess Paul is supposed to leave tonight around 8pm.  With my memory I'll probably forget to even check the departure.

Beverly, good to hear that the vest is working out and will be even better when you get the right size. :)

Jenny, it sounds like your brother is doing OK?  My husband, oldest daughter, and our son have all had gall bladder operations. None seem to have had any noticeable problems after the operations.  Our son's was especially bad as he had a lot of gallstones.

Mary Ann, sounds like you are enjoying a little outside time with Kendrick.

Marilyne, I know this has to be a very tiring time for you.  Sounds like your "patient" is doing well.  As we get older, it takes longer to recover from anything and everything, I have found.

Patricia, good to see you checking in--even if it is just a glug. ;D
Hi, Joy!
Have a good day, everyone.

Marilyne

It sure is quiet around here, with Shelley and Claire gone.  I also miss Shelley's help over the past ten days.  She did all the grocery shopping, and kept the kitchen and bathrooms sparkling clean!  She insisted, and I let her go ahead and "spoil" me! ;D LOL!  I'm going to have to get back in the swing of things, so this morning I went out early, and drove to Sprouts, for some fresh fruits and veggies, vitamins, and other stuff.

Yesterday AJ got the OK from his doctor, so he is anxious to get back to his usual routine.  I'm feeling confident that he will continue to get better, if he doesn't push himself too hard, which he is prone to do.

JENNY - good that your brother is doing well, and will be going home tomorrow.  I hope that Michele is not as fatigued as before, and will get through the next 12 treatments without too many side effects.  Also, your sister-in-law sounds to be in very bad shape, what with needing all that oxygen.  Adding your father to that list, you do have a lot of loved ones to worry about.  I'm glad you had a chance for some vacation time in Boston.

JEAN - I missed Paul's arrival yesterday, but will try to catch his departure later today.  For me, it will be approximately 6:00 pm, which is not a good time for me, as I am either preparing or eating dinner at that time.  Our temperature is supposed to hit 100 degrees today, so I'll stay inside for the remainder of the day.  We have plenty to eat, and lots of time, so we may choose to watch one of our many recorded DVR movies this afternoon.  AJ wants to see an Alan Ladd oldie, called "The Glass Key", with Veronica Lake. I can deal with that, s I always liked them both.

BEVERLY - Good that you will be able to visit Donna in Vermont, in September.  Fatigue is hard to deal with during chemo, so I hope she has some help at home?  In the meantime you have health problems to deal with too.  I'm glad you have a smaller vest, that works better for you.  I'm looking forward to trying your recipe for the Tuna Melt!  I haven't had very good results, from the ones I've tried so far.  The English muffin sounds good.

MARY ANN - Your lunch tomorrow with Dot, sounds like it will be fun for everyone.  I just love those big deli sandwiches, that can be cut in half and saved!  Tom sure is nice, to drive friends and neighbors to places like the doctor or the airport!  Seems he is often dropping someone off, or picking them up at an airport.

PATRICIA - I meant to comment on your message yesterday, about the salmon being shot out of the cannon-like device.  Sounds and looks scary, but Dept of Fish and Game, also uses those for stocking lakes and rivers with trout, bass, and other fish.  I saw the truck roll up once to a lake in the lower Sierra foothills, and blast those poor fish out of the "cannon". They were definitely stunned when they hit the water, laid here for awhile, and then suddenly came to life and swam away.

JOY - Good to see you checking in.  We like to hear from you, whether you have anything going on or not.

I think I've written enough,  ::)  and had better sign out for now, before I think of something else to say!

Mary Ann

How nice to find some nice messages here.  Patricia, glug, glug back at you.  If you were in Marilyn's area, you might be glugging something cold and tasty.  I do have some root beer in the refrigerator, also a orange drink.  I might put some ice cream with the orange, another version of a float.  I love root beer floats.

I did some genealogy looking for Tom's friend, Robin, and I found some info on her birth father.  I was going to send the info to her from my second laptop but I had such a time signing in, I decided to come to this one.

I forgot all about Paul yesterday and probably will do so today too.

My lunch today was half a radish sandwich and it tasted so good, I made myself another half.  I like the crunch of the radishes.

Yes, Marilyn, I'll bet it is quiet around your house what with both girls gone.  I know how quiet it was be after Tom and family would spend a weekend with me.  It was just dead around here.

Jean, while I am happy with the produce we've received by online shopping, I'd like to go to a farmer's market (none near) to see what is available.  If I don't see a picture of something in the ad, I don't buy it and won't find out how it tastes.

Evidently we have a lot in common with Florida. Here nine rivers are or about to flood and many of the fire refugees asre back as flood refugees.

Heavy Rain Could Trigger Flooding From Florida to the Southeast Coast Through Late Week
Soaking thunderstorms will impact parts of Florida and the Southeast coast into late this week.

Special Weather Statement
Weather Updated: Aug 14 3:39PM
Issued by the National Weather Service
For Middle Tanana Valley, Alaska
SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT UNTIL 12PM AKDT THU ...HEAVY RAINS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY... ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF THE INTERIOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THIS SYSTEM LOOKS TO BRING MORE RAIN THAN TUESDAY'S SYSTEM. MUCH OF INTERIOR WILL SEE AT LEAST AN INCH OF RAINFALL THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE AREA ALONG A LINE FROM CHENA HOT SPRINGS TO FAIRBANKS TO DENALI NATIONAL PARK WILL LIKELY SEE AROUND 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL. MANY INTERIOR RIVERS, INCLUDING THE CHENA, CHATANIKA, SALCHA, AND GOODPASTER WILL ALL SEE A SHARP RISE IN WATERS FRIDAY AS THE NEXT ROUND OF RAINFALL MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. HIGH CONFIDENCE IN FLOODING ON THE SALCHA, GOODPASTER, AND UPPER CHENA RIVERS HAS PROMPTED FLOOD WARNINGS FOR THOSE BASINS. WATER IS EXPECTED TO RISE ON THE CHATANIKA RIVER TO NEAR FLOOD STAGE FRIDAY, THOUGH SOMEWHAT LESSER RAINFALL AMOUNTS FARTHER NORTH WILL KEEP THIS AREA AS A FLOOD ADVISORY FOR NOW. LARGER RIVERS INCLUDING THE TANANA WILL SEE SLOWER RISES IN WATER LEVELS, AND HIGH WATER THERE WILL LIKELY BECOME A CONCERN SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. RISING WATERS ALONG RIVERS DRAINING THE BROOKS RANGE INCLUDING THE KOYUKUK AND JIM RIVERS UPSTREAM OF BETTLES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY. THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL MAY BE SUFFICIENT TO CAUSE MORE ROCK AND MUDSLIDES IN DENALI NATIONAL PARK. IN ADDITION TO THE RAINFALL, WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE ON FRIDAY. THE GUSTY WINDS MAY BE SUFFICIENT TO CAUSE ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES IN THE FAIRBANKS AREA.

Mary Ann

Patricia, it looks as if Mother Nature is going to take care of all of us in an adverse way.  Fires and floods seem to be the order of the day.  If the foreign countries that want to destroy us will just be patient and wait, natural disasters will take care of it - and us.

I'm fortunate that I don't live near the river, but I do live on a pond and in 1986 September it rained every day and water was within a couple of feet of my patio slider.  I probably would not have lost my life, but I could have lost my home.  Every time we have a heavy rain and the pond rises toward the top, someone will call it a "100-year rain" and we'll show them pictures of 1986 to prove it isn't.  Nature isn't always kind.

I've been doing some genealogy work for a friend of Tom's and I'm finding all sorts of information.  She has heard of some of the names, but has not delved into her genealogy at all.  She will be pleasantly surprised.

Well, something new to worry about, Jackie. You are right to keep an eye on your neighbor. Some people take advantage when they can. On the other hand, she may be a compulsive neat-nick and can't resist reorganizing things. That may be a bit of a leap, I know, but there are overly-helpful people in this world too.

Picton Castle, after about an hour and a half prep, cast off from Algonac at 6:18am headed for Kingsville, ON on Lake Erie. Just after turning onto the main branch south, she passed CSL Tadoussac which was heading north. Lovely dawn shots.

Lucy has taken a turn. She is spitting up about 3 hours after eating and is at the point she wants to eat, but can't quite stomach the idea. I have to wait till the vet opens at 8am to make an appointment. Her thyroid medicine seemed to be working fine for about a week at half dose, so I am not sure that is what is upsetting her stomach. Over the last two days, she has spit up a small hairball, and several small pieces of plastic. No matter how I try to keep plastic out of sight, she manages to find some. So now I am worried that she has a blockage on top of her thyroid problem.

Mary Ann

Thursday morning and the mowers are here.  They do a good job and it can't be helped that there are mower noises.

MarsGal, I got up a bit early to see any activity on the Picton Castle, saw none and then did a bit on the computer and went back to bed.  I had to get up anyway and not for the Picton Castle.  I got up again at 8 am just as Tom was walking in from breakfast.  I heated water for my coffee, then came in here to backtrack a couple of hours plus to see activity on the boat.  I was on the computer, watching things until they left.  Now, back to normal?

Jackie, it sounds like your neighbor is "casing the joint".  Are you not able to lock the building?  It seems like every time you turn around, you have a new problem.

Lucy came back from the vet with some special cat food for GI problems, a shot to settle her stomach, and something he rubbed in her ear to increase her appetite. I just tried giving her the food, but she stuck her nose up at it. Either she isn't ready to eat, or she doesn't like the smell. Will try a little later. Meanwhile, I am not to give her any of her thyroid medicine for 24 hours unless she eats and doesn't spit it back up.

Mary Ann I am glad you got to see the Picton Castle leave. You are right, I think that is pretty much it for tall ships. There were several new to me cargo ships I missed over the last week. I am hoping to catch them when they come by again. PS: We'll still get to see a few tall ships go by when they get done playing around on Lake Superior. Denis Sullivan, Pride of Baltimore and the Niagara will need to pass by on their way back to home ports.

I bought a foldable computer desk similar in style to several of my book shelves. The goal is to separate out the tangle of wires that are now all in one place and that Shan gets tangled in and occasionally pulls loose. So my project this afternoon is unpacking it and putting it together.

Marilyne

MarsGal - sounds like your vet is a good one, and knows just what to do to help Lucy feel better and start eating again.  I've forgotten how old she is?  I think Oscar is your oldest?  Anyway, I'm hoping she gets over this upset soon.

Shelley brought both of their cats with them, for the ten days that they were here. (Too expensive to board them, and we enjoy having them here.)  Their old cat, Jerry, is now about 16 years old, and is not in the best of health.  However, he doesn't have any specific illnesses - just old age!  He sleeps most of the time, and stayed in the downstairs bedroom where Claire slept.  The younger cat, Lily, is about two years old.  She is full of energy, and explored every inch of the house.  She especially liked to sit on the window sill in the bedroom, where she could look outside at the trees and birds, and also watch the occasional comings and goings of the neighbors behind us.

Jackie - I'm hoping that you can contact your NHS, and request a special dispensation to get into housing for seniors, ASAP.  It's too difficult for you to be living alone, and so far way from the help and companionship you need. Being as your neighbors are not that friendly, and you're a bit uncomfortable around them, I hope you can move soon.  I know you feel you should sell the house first, but under the circumstances, maybe you could list it right now?

Mary Ann - Enjoy your lunch today, with Dot and Tom.  I wish I could join you, as I would like to get away from this miserable heat!  Yesterday it hit 100 degrees here, and today is supposed to be even higher!  As I mentioned before, our AC unit is old, and doesn't do a good job of keeping the house cool.  Single pane windows don't help either.

Hope you all have a nice day.  I hope to get back into the swing of the webcams again.  I looked at them all a couple of times yesterday, but nothing happening anywhere.  I don't have the cam that you were all talking about that showed the tall ships?  I would love to have seen the Picton Castle.

Mary Ann

Marilyn, do you not have the cam for Algonac?  That is where the Picton Castle was shown.  It was in Algonac from Monday afternoon until this morning.  It was not a special cam.

We had a good lunch at the Cannonsburg Deli; we all had sandwiches.  It's funny, in a way, but I think they change their menu board each time I've been there.  They used to have a board with a listing of all the breads available, all the meats, cheeses plus a pickle and chips.  Today the board had a listing of sandwiches to be made and it tells what is in each sandwich but I couldn't read that part.  I had a Cannonsburg Club and I asked about the layers of bread; it turned out they use a long bun, so there were only two layers, which is what I wanted.  They flattened the sandwich so it was more like a panini.  A good time was had by all.  Dot and I both brought home half of our sandwich.

Today is overcast and on the cool side and Dot and I both wore sweaters.  I like it that way.

I feel the need for a nap and I think I'll head that way.

Mary Ann

Vanilla-Jackie

Marilyne...
...i cant legally put this place on the for sale market yet, not while this solicitor business is still ongoing..so for the time being i am well and truly stuck here..
" There is no present like the time "

Mary Ann

Marilyn, I was just at the Algonac cam and found if you put your cursor at the very beginning of the lower red line, you should see some of the Picton Castle sailboat.

Mary Ann

Beverly

MarsGal - Sorry that Lucy is having problems. Eating plastic can't be good for her! I've heard about both dogs and cats eating strange things.

Marilyne - The way I make my tuna melt is to split an English Muffin, top with tuna salad and a slice of canned pineapple, broil it till hot, then add a slice of Swiss cheese and broil it just till it melts. You can't eat it like a sandwich. It's more of a "knife and
fork" meal. Not everyone may like the addition of pineapple but I do. Donna's husband is a great support for her. She lives about an hour away from the hospital and he drives her to all her appointments and stays with her for the chemo treatments.

Jenny - Donna has seven more treatments to go, one every other week. Today she said she's been having a lot of body aches for a few days. Fortunately for her, there is promise of a possible cure with this.  How is Michelle doing?

Today Donna began a 5 month medical leave (with pay) from her job. Her husband can be with her when needed because he has a lot of accumulated sick days. They both work for the state. This will make things easier for them.

Jackie - Tell your neighbor you are willing to sell the things she wants in the building. That way she might not "borrow" them. I hope you can resolve your issues with the house soon.

Mary Ann - We will be flying north in September. I meant to mention your radish sandwich. I used to love radish sandwiches and haven't had one in years. Another favorite was sliced onion and ketchup. If I were to make one today it would be with the sweet onions.

Almost time for bed.....Good night all.

Marilyne

Mary Ann - I looked at the Algonac cam, but I wasn't able to see the sailboat.  It seems I'm always, "a day late and a dollar short", when it comes to getting the best views of the ships.  I did see a couple of the tall ships on one of the cams a couple of weeks ago, but they were a distance from the camera, so I didn't get a good close-up view. It's close to 8:00 PM here, which means you and all others who post here, are most likely sleeping.  I think Jenny is two hours ahead of me, and Patricia is one hour behind.  Joanw and I are the only ones in this time zone, I think? We haven't heard from her in a long time - either Joan or Shirleyn.  I see them both posting on Facebook.

Beverly - How wonderful, that Donna gets a five month medical leave! She will need it.  Also sounds like she has a loving and supportive husband. That helps a lot during treatment.  I plan to try your recipe for the English muffin tuna melt.  I always eat my sandwiches with a knife and fork - even hamburgers!  :D  I have problems with TMJ, and can't open my mouth wide enough for a sandwich or burger anymore.

The days are passing much too quickly for me.

My brother is still in the hospital.  They are giving him some physical therapy as he is having a hard time getting up and moving around with the pain in the incision.  Not sure of they will release him to go home tomorrow or not.

BEVERLY, I think the fatigue from the chemo is the worse for most every one.  I do know people that continue to work during this time and I sure do not know how they can do it.  Michele has two more chemo sessions then they want her to wait at least two weeks before she starts some radiation.  She is expecting 3 weeks of that, but will find out tomorrow what the radiation oncologist recommends.  She had a MRI on her brain yesterday and we are praying there are no new tumors seen🙏🙏. She will find out next Monday when she goes for the second to last chemo.  Michele lost all of her hair and she has had horrible acne for months now that bother her so much.  They are very red and pussy looking....she does not want to go out where she is seen.  This is on her face, in her hair on her chest back and tops of both arms.  The doctor has given her steroids for this and it has not helped one bit.  Continued prayers for Donna.

JACKIE, it seems the worrisome problems just continue for you.  I can certainly understand why you are leary of what this ladies motives are.  Be strong and do what you feel you have to do to keep her at bae.  I am so sorry you are having to deal with this.  I do hope you are feeling better and the cream seems to be helping.

I hope you all are doing well.

Pleasant dreams to all.

Very quiet here in Northwest Florida.  Not much to talk about, "another day and another dollar".

Marsgal, sorry to hear about Lucy's medical problems

Our daughter, Gigi, is taking her two miniatures to the vet today.  She thinks the oldest one (about 14 yrs old) will not live much longer.  We do love our pets, don't we.

Have a good day everyone.

CallieOK

I was able to rewind and watch the Picton Castle getting ready to leave and sailing into the sunrise.  Tried to follow it on Marine City and Port Huron cams but never could find it going through either one.

Have been trying to catch-up with genealogy of hubby's family.  I needed to make family charts for the new generations, who are "proliferating" faster than I can keep up with!  Was glad to find forms on-line that I could fill out and print.

That, reading e-books, doing Daily Challenges in 4 solitaire games and keeping up with ships are about all I'm doing these days.

I like the Turkey Melt (with spiced bacon) and Swiss/Mushroom melt (on a hamburger patty) at a local restaurant but never thought about making my own.
I used to really like tuna salad but haven't found it all that tasty recently. I do like pineapple and Swiss cheese so may have to try Bev's idea.

Hugs and Good Thoughts to each of you dealing with relatives' health issues.

Off to get to the grocery store before the Heat Index goes over 100ยบ.

Mary Ann

My eyes are bothering me today so it is hard to read fine print.  I do appreciate posts that are bold.  Jackie, I could not read much of your urls because they are too light.

MarsGal, I was able to watch the various scenes of the Picton Castle and I enjoyed the short piece about the castle itself.  It is not as elaborate as many castles are.  It was nice to see the ship with sails up.  What a beautiful scene.

JENNY - I'll be thinking about Michele, and praying that her MRI brain scan will show that there is nothing new to worry about.  I feel so bad for her, that besides the chemo, she has to also suffer with that terrible acne. I don't blame her for not wanting to go out, where she would be seen. She must be very depressed.
I'm sorry your brother is having a painful time with the incision. It will eventually heal, and he will feel like himself again, but it may take a while.
I hope your Dad, is doing well?  Have your grandchildren started school yet?  Schools started here this week, on Wednesday. They sure start earlier here than they used to.  My kids didn't start until after Labor Day.  Keep us posted on all of your family members?

MARY ANN - I'm sorry you're having trouble with reading the messages. Is this something that can be addressed by your eye doctor, with new computer glasses?  Like you and Beverly, I also like radish sandwiches!  Cucumber sandwiches, are good too.  Either plain cucumber with a little mayo, or cucumber and peanut butter.

MARSGAL - Thanks for all the great videos of the Picton Castle! No wonder you're all talking about her!  The link to her biography is very interesting. A fascinating history, from 1928, through WWII, serving as a minesweeper, and then called, The Liberator of Norway!  I like to find out little known facts like that, about WWII.

Hello to Jean, Beverly, Jackie and Callie.  I hope that Rammel/Rick, will come back and join us again?

Mary Ann

So many of our groups have family with serious health problems.  I know much of it is due to our aging.  But if we didn't age, we would not be here.

Then there is Jenny, who along with family health problems is flitting all over the Denver area carting her grandkids here, there and everywhere, along with trying to live a normal life.

Marilyn, it was thrilling to see the Picton Castle.  I've seen sailboats on Lake Michigan for many years, but nothing like the PC.  I kept hoping I'd see the Bluenose but I was always too late.

My eye problem is progressive and there is nothing more my optometrist can do about it.  I have glaucoma.  I hope I can continue to see what I see, which is about anything that doesn't involve a close up because details are hard to make out.  Other things are more positive; I can walk a short distance, I can hear, even if I can't make out what is being said, I can see my darling 2x great nieces and nephew.  I feel capable of going to Indps at the end of October so that is a plus.  It's irritating to not be able to read fine print, but that is only a bump in an otherwise smooth road.  The pluses outweigh the minuses.  I have no trouble, yet, of reading the bold posts.

We are headed for a warm day, probably in the mid-80s.  Soon it will be September and unless it rains a lot, the temps should be more comfortable.
