Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Beverly, Wesley sure is a cutie and I love his curly hair.  I've mentioned, I know, that our twins have red hair (so do both parents) and one has curly hair, one does not.  One is more reserved, one likes everyone!  They are not identical, obviously.

Beverly, what a sweetheart Wesley is, my son also bears that name his middle one. Love the verandah, can imagine sitting there enjoying the sounds sights and smells.

Bev, I'm Irish, Scot, and Welsh, so almost everyone in my family is or was a redhead, including myself. My maternal Irish grandfather was five foot seven inches tall and had black hair with a red beard and chest hair! He also had a mouth that could cut someone down to size without using one swearword.

Of course, after my generation, we had more nationalities coming into the family, including Ethiopian. My daughter's father was French Canadian and German.

People, in my family, went from red hair to both white and grey. I went white around the ears and temples to grey elsewhere.

Farrah not only lost her orange-red coloring on her belly to her grey dots and dashes markings becoming hidden under a gray overcoat.

My Maternal grandmother was of Irish descent.  She was also a red head when she was young but when I knew her, her hair was dark steel grey.  She must have been the exception that proved the rule.

My mother wisher her red hair on my two sisters and me when we came into the world but the closest any of us came was my sister's auburn hair.

Beverly

Thanks for all the nice comments on Wesley. He'll be four in a month.

Mary Ann - Wow! An entire family with red hair! I mentioned once that Chape's sister is expecting twin great-grands. Both are girls. My brother-in-law had very red hair (when he had hair ) :)  so maybe they will, too!

Beverly, when James was small he had carrot red hair but as he got older, his hair darkened and is now more auburn.  His wife, Alicia, has the same orange/red hair that the girls have.  Her hair is straight as a stick.  She just had her long hair cut and gave 12" to some charitable organization.  I have not seen her since the cut, but I have seen a picture and it's very attractive.

Cool Canines solutions

1- Yellow flower (on the floater between the two dogs) turned green

1- Beach ball flipped

3- Black dog's sunglasses turned pink

4- Black dog's tongue is shorter

5- On the floater (left corner of the image) blue dot added

6- Floral collar added to the white dog

Vanilla-Jackie

Hm two i missed, the shorter tongue and the extra blue dot...

To satisfy Farrah's predatory instinct, I put her kibble in this ring so she can puzzle it out.

Shirley

I haven't been able to sit at the computer long or my leg locks up... think it is now 3 weeks + since it started this misery & 2 weeks since it gave in completely. Can't get comfy to sleep so changing my life.

Beverly, I was in earlier & saw that darling little boy's photo & was wishing I had a photo of my great grand-dtr about the same age... with her same red-curly hair, only her eyes are blue-blue.

Love your world, Patricia..... and now I'll share mine. Tonight when the cats & I came up from the river, feeding the fish, Callie is always in front of me leading the way. For whatever reason, she went straight over to the fence where the pit bull next door comes to bark at the cats every day. She was sniffing the grass when the dog moved in closer so she took that little white paw & swatted at his nose. Dog backed off & I was laughing so hard I couldn't get the phone up... but if you look closely, she has her ears back & that dog had backed up from the fence. She stood her ground & few seconds later even stipped over the fence into the dog's yard. By then I was worried the dog would realize it was much bigger than that cat! She did the same in the front driveway when the lady down the street was walking her German Shepherd... dog wanted a closer look at Callie so she took a swipe at it's nose & drew blood. Dog's mama did not think it funny so I tried hard not to laugh. Callie has such dainty paws & looks so sweet...

Shirley

Bubble, I never did see that extra blue dot until you explained.
