Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Joan, I'll be thinking of you this morning, however, it is four hours later with you and I hope the results were good!

Farrah has had some breakthrus, she stays in the living room mostly, is still very alert however and actually played a bit with a feather toy once she saw me holding it. Her play was only for a few moments, but I was so proud of her!

She doesn't meow or rub against you, or rub/mark against objects nor does she seem to want to be close. Yet she will stop by my chair so I can rub her back and she licks my hand. In the morning, she follows me very carefully, just out of reach, until she sees me fixing her cat food.

She is making great strides in small doses and slowly learning to trust that I will stay within her prescribed boundaries and she may trust some humans. Seeing this in only ten days is amazing and gratifying.

MaryAnn, I'll bet Kendrick was glad to see you and be back inside!

I hope everyone, everywhere, is having a wonderful day and hope the rain and sunshine go where needed! We are plus 55 now, due to reach 76 later.

Holding the most positive thoughts and saying prayers JOAN!  I hope your report will be a good one.

LARRY, that is the problem, Mark does not have a job right now.  He has feelers out and must get a position at a golf club to continue his PGA Certification.  He has had offers in the past couple of months that he did not accept as he was dedicated to this job.  Problem is the seasonal ones have been filled already.  He has excellent references and a title that is necessary, so with any hope he can secure something soon.  The head pro at the club he worked at here has hand carried Mark's resume to another exclusive private club in the area and he is hoping to get a call as one of the pro's has a medical issue that might prevent him from continuing.  I do not wish this guy bad luck, but it might just open up something for Mark.  Thank you for asking!

JANE, you should be on the road by now and I am so excited and happy for you.  Safe travel.

PATRICIA, so pleased that Farrah is showing signs of being more comfortable.  She is a pretty kitty.

MARYANN, your little fur ball has a wonderful set up there for him to be out on the deck and be safe.

Enjoy your day, EVERYFRIEND!

Lloyd, your part of our cyber family, and we do worry about you.  take care

Patricia, I know your new kitty will come around with the loveing tender care you will give.  Taffy, after all these years is still afraid of noise, she don't like to hear the garbage truck, mowing the lawn of course thunder etc.

June Drabek

Have a great nap Bis, and I rejoice along with all the others that love you. God is so Good. He answers our prayers, and brings Joy back into our lives. Thanks be to God !

Well, I have done all that has been suggested to get me back on my grocery ordering and nothing worked. I am too tired and disgusted to pursue it any further, so I will just forget it till I get my energy back. I started to get too disturbed so took a "peace" pill which makes me sleepy so I am just going to be housebound for another day and try to relax. Time for a nap…..June
As long as we are here, let's dance.

Hi

Has Jackie posted today.

Kelly

JeanneP

Jackie.

Lets let some of the ladies read a little by Pam Ayres.   We don't seem to get her books in libraries here.

       FIFTY SHADES OF GRAY....

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY - (a husband's point of view)..................By Pam Ayres

The missus bought a Paperback,
Down Shepton Market way,
I had a look inside her bag;
... T'was "Fifty Shades of Grey".
Well I just left her to it,
And at ten I went to bed.
An hour later she appeared;
The sight filled me with dread...
In her left she held a rope;
And in her right a whip!
She threw them down upon the floor,
And then began to strip.
Well fifty years or so ago;
I might have had a peek;
But Mabel hasn't weathered well;
She's eighty four next week!!
Watching Mabel bump and grind;
Could not have been much grimmer.
And things then went from bad to worse;
She toppled off her Zimmer!
She struggled back upon her feet;
A couple minutes later;
She put her teeth back in and said
I am a dominater !!
Now if you knew our Mabel,
You'd see just why I spluttered,
I'd spent two months in traction
For the last complaint I'd uttered.
She stood there nude and naked
Bent forward just a bit
I went to hold her, sensual like
And stood on her left tit!
Mabel screamed, her teeth shot out;
My god what had I done!?
She moaned and groaned then shouted out:
"Step on the other one"!!
Well readers, I can't tell no more;
About what occurred that day.
Suffice to say my jet black hair,
Turned fifty shades of grey.

With 2 days hitting 70° here the heat is already building up inside. Have the fan in here running now just to be comfortable.

KELLY  only occasionally I have trouble sleeping. Most of the time I get at least 7 hours of good sleep every night.

JOAN  thank God you are “clean”. I pray it is always that way now.

Have a good night everyone.

Hi JeanneP
I did not like the idea of Pam Ayres using the 'that naughty paperback  book'  about shades of gray.

As I had to look it up to and find out what the book was about and oh dear!!

Beverly

Joan - I came in here tonight hoping for good news and here it is! I am so happy for you!

Molly

JOAN - when I went shopping earlier today, I bought some Hershey packages since I trusted that your health test would be POSITIVE today.  And so it was!  Thus, I just ate a tiny two bites in your honor!

RE my tests to determine what has been causing my excruciating headaches:  It will be about two more weeks before my appointment, so I'm trying to be patient and we all know that is NOT one of my best features!  I wondered if any Friends here have experienced the intense head pains like mine?

Lloyd Hammond

Good evening everyone. thanks for all the good wishes thoughts and prayer. well hall I did not sleep in late tho I wish i
had. when I went to bed i sat down on bed and turned around put my feet in bed and laid back,as soon as my head hit the pillow my eyes roled back light flashed and i went out for a minute. i then settled down and slept until 3 AM. i woke up for a nature call set up on the tide of the bed ,started to lean forward to get up and instead flopped back on Nancy head spinning. I sat up for a minute the after business i went back to recliner until  6:A M. I called the HP and went up there,spent the day. they did some more scans and tests,changed some meds. and sent me home wore out.so good night everyone sweet dreams.
