Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Yes it's active. The first link is for Brookivy who posts certain parts of the live feed. The second one is for the live feed. The third is a live feed for a Canadian foster with a mother cat who has kittens due at any time.

It's been nice and relaxing this morning, to sit and  observe the new Critter Room.  I plan to spend more time there today, and get to know the cats a little better.  Sending the link on to my cat loving granddaughter.

In Canada's British Columbia's Tiny Kittens, there is Grace who just had four kittens on 4/21 and Stella who is on Maternity watch. These cats are from the Happy Forest, an area maintained by the Tiny Kittens group who feed, shelter, TNR, and medically provide for the ferals living there.

From British Columbia's Tiny Kittens, Three feral cats from the Happy Forest were rescued. Grace, gray color, had four kittens on 4/21st. Freida, black, had three living black kittens on 5/7th, and Mercy, a six-month-old, tortie brought in for treatment for a broken jaw. All three cats are from the same group and are housed together along with the kittens. Both mothers nurse any of the kittens. This is a live cam.

While there have been some sporadic reports of house cats testing positive for Coronavirus, note that there is more than one type of Coronavirus. Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) is not the same as COVID-19 though it likewise is highly contagious between cats and it is very common.
Remember though that COVID-19 can be transferred from one person to another via any kind of solid surface which can include animals. Multi-human households should limit pet interactions with someone with COVID-19.

Tiggy is so cute. I didn't realize you have a cat, Bubble.

I've been watching clips from Save A Fox lately. https://www.youtube.com/user/spookelliot
A fox's smile is truly a scary thing.

Tiggy was 12y when he had to be put to sleep with renal failure. He was a loving cat.

Kitten Cam Villagers

"Another Safety Briefing?"
"Are we going over Exit Procedure again?"
"Aww darn it.  I already know where to go!"

Attention, please.  We are getting word that Exit Procedures will begin soon.  Please finish your beverage, and start pulling in your cords and placentas to their proper position.
And let's take a moment to go over the steps during Exit Procedures.

1. Once the pool starts to drain and walls start closing in, you have limited time to Coil up your Cord and Pack your Placenta Parachute.  Don't dawdle.

2. Find your Exit Buddy.  No kitten is left behind.  Do you have your Exit Buddy?

3. Line up and proceed in proper single file and head for the Cervix Exit. (Not the Service Exit) Try not to push or crowd each other.

4.  Past the Cervix Exit is the Tight Squeeze Tunnel.  It is self explanatory, and will be uncomfortable, but just keep moving towards the light at the end of the tunnel.

5.  Just before you emerge, pull the Cord to deploy the Placenta Parachute.  Make sure you Tuck and Roll.  (In the very rare event of a water landing the Placenta may be used as a floatation device)

6. Once you've landed, rip open your protective suit and loudly proclaim your arrival.

7.  Head to the Milkbar for the Celebratory Colostrum.

8. If you have landed, but your Placenta Parachute gets stuck, do not panic.  It will soon pass and you will be disconnected.

9. There might be the temptation to linger around the Exit after landing.  But unless you have a placenta attached, please keep the area clear.

This concludes your briefing on Exit Procedures.  For further questions, please refer to the diagrams on the walls of both uterine horns, or your safety pamphlet in the front pouch of your Amniotic Sac.

Author's Note - Never get tired of having fun with this.  Feel free to share with your friends!

Marilyne

Patricia - That's a very clever scenario!  I was visualizing the entire exit procedure!  ;D

MarsGal

OhhhhhKay, I don't get it. Sorry.

Found out that my new next door neighbor has three cats. Her friend fosters cats for one of the rescue organizations, but she didn't say which. I didn't ask.

angelface555

MarsGal, think of the unborn kittens as having a corporate coach for going thru birth.  The coach is prepping them for the big day.

Wow! What an amazing inaccessible animal with a small population but incredible capabilities.

Lucy lost a tooth the other day. She is going up to the vet to check out her teeth and gums on the 8th. What with the Corona Virus slowing down appointments and more people discovering the new clinic location, I couldn't get her in much earlier so she is going along with Oscar who is going for his annual. She seems to be eating okay.

I am wondering if that was Patricia or Shirley's lap the cats were sitting on!
