Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Oh, they are adorable.

I also liked the sign I saw on the back of an Xfinity truck on Monday. It had an illustration of a van and a double-pointed arrow <-> and the words "Thank you for social distancing - 10 ft." Special for the tailgaters, I expect. It gave me a chuckle.

It is amazing how much some companies are making from this Virus
Lots of mask everywhere but now more Novelties than once that ate
for saver use. I have been trying to find a good Surgical one as what I
have really hurts my ears. Can't find on other than one that the want $34
for. I would need 2 as you can wash these. Same with the hand wash and other
things. Prices really going up on the good stuff and lots of the cheaper
not good to use. Just all kinds of things now on LIne.
Those with the animals are cute. But I have to be careful of colour in cloth even on sheets and others things. Only white or Light colour underwear and shirts.Thank goodness now lots of Laundry soap and body soap is on the market. Use to be had to use all the baby stuff. Still do use their No additive

Headstone of Russell J. Larsen in the Logan City Cemetery , Logan , Utah !
I wonder if he died knowing he won the 'Coolest Headstone' contest?
His five rules for a happy life are at the bottom.

FIVE RULES FOR MEN TO FOLLOW TO A HAPPY LIFE:

1.. It's important to have a woman who helps at home,
cooks from time to time, cleans up, and has a job.

2. It's important to have a woman who can make you
laugh.

3. It's important to have a woman who you can trust,
and doesn't lie to you.

4. It's important to have a woman who is good in bed,
and likes to be with you.

5. It's very, very important that these four women
do not know each other.

I have retired neighbors who go back to France on a visit every six months, they check their house there, visit the children etc.

They remind me of our Shirley: whenever they arrive, the pair of  wild turtledoves from the garden come to greet them and settle to eat in their hands. You can hear them coo, they are totally tame, but in the wild.
They seem to prefer the husband to the wife, but land freely on both of them.

Love it, Bubble, and I am 100% in favor of letting them be free because they will come back if they can trust you. Our "Missy" robin came back 8 years and returned to our front porch to die. It was a peaceful death, all day long she went into a deeper sleep and I watched from the window to make sure no cats came to disturb her. I have not made bird friends since the cats adopted us, their instincts are natural born and I don't want to change them.

Thanks to your neighbors for sharing the photo with us. You made my day!

Bubble.
Good that your neighbors can get back into France . The don't seem to be wanting people from the U.s. Into any country right now. I don't blame them. I am try ing to stay away from any of them here. Their  place looks nice there.
Hope you are feeling better now.
A few of people I know in  the UK.have bought homes in France.  It must be a cheaper place to live.

Here's a photo I took at a local fishing lake last week. This is sort of a local hidden gem - it's buried at the end of a sleepy residential road off a major highway - you'd never know it was there if you weren't looking for it.

Beautiful!!! Such a peaceful setting..
Perfect shot!!!

Love to live close to that place. Looks great. Love fishing. Now is it good there.
Do they let you camp close. We use to have some good quiet lakes but for some reaso
they don't stock then anymore. Would have been a great place to have at this time. I am
getting so stir crazy now. Was O.K for couple months but now getting to me.

Wonder how Bubble is doing. We all are having computer problem. Mine are a mess
but can't let anyone in to fix. I have comcast and their service bad on everything TV. Wi Fi
Internet.

That is a lovely scene, Oldiesmann.

Michael, that's a neat shot! One time I had a photo of geese in a local contest and the city naturalist asked where it was taken. He was surprised when I told him "in the heart of Wichita". The Arkansas River runs through Wichita and my house backs up to it near the downtown area. No danger of flooding and since rivers change course constantly, I've made my part a whole new hide out. I've posted photos of it over the years, how it has changed and remained wild.

Last night when I went down to feed the fish (catfish & carp) a fox came to see what I brought the land critters. I talked to it softly in hopes it won't be so shy. The cats were not really afraid but two had their fur up to look bigger. Only time I saw them race for home was when a pair of fox were playing and my thoughts were that they could get trapped with two were around.  Love being "in the outdoors".  Is there a "pull off" so cars can stop (like you must have?). Thanks for sharing a piece of your world. Shirley in KS

According to Google, the nearest campground is about 25 minutes south of there. There really aren't too many campgrounds in the area given that it's more suburbs than country (this is about 20 minutes south of downtown Cincinnati).

Bubble. Looking good in the photos. The masks bother me more than anything.try to stay home so that can go without . Not had anyone in house for 4 moths.
The young seem to not be to upset about wearing them . The are making so many fun ones for them now.

Bubble, you are welcome. Glad they were alright for all of you. Thank you for the photos!! What a handsome young man Aviv is....a heart stealer for sure!!

So happy to see all of you together, Bubble!!!  Love your hair! Still looks nice & thick & you have some color in yours yet. I am jealous. Is Aviv getting to attend school yet? Some of my great grands are able to go & love seeing their friends, but others are learning at home, think they are rotating them in most schools. I can almost feel the love in that hand on your shoulder.... :smitten:   Aviv has the fingers of a musician, does he play an instrument?  Thanks for sharing your family.

so_P_bubble

Yes Aviv goes to school: the first 3 grades have classes 5 days a week but shorter days. Each of these classes is divided into two "capsules" with no contact between, even at recess, to minimize the risk on Corona.Higher grades learn two days a week in rotation and the rest of  the week online. Very hard for those without computer, only a small tablet or the smartphone. There is always one or the other of the boys coming back with Aviv for lunch and play... Illy does not mind the extra kid/s.

Aviv is not a musician, but does listen to classic music. He prefer wrestling of climbing every opportunity he gets!

FlaJean

Enjoyed those family photos so much. 😊

Patricia - Cute pictures.

Bubble - Great pictures of you and your family with your new masks. I love your hairdo. Do they have those indoor rock climbing places where kids can safely climb? Some of my grandkids loved them.

Oldiesmann - That looks like the kind of place where I could sit and forget the problems of the world.

End of the Long Trail hike

My grandddaughter, Erin, her husband, Keith, 11 year old son, Brody and 21 year old stepson, Kaleb. They hiked the entire length of the Long Trail in Vermont, 250 miles. (Kaleb joined them half way). They completed the hike yesterday. Erin said it was a great experience but she could do without the 35 lb. backpack!  :) It took them a month.

Beverly, thank you for that picture of the "end of the trail hike".  Reminds me of "A Walk in the Woods" by Bryson.  (book and movie).

Beverly, 35 lb backpack-----ouch.  Good victory picture and something to be proud of.
