Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

...that " show " would be Crufts which reminds me that an elderly Mr Cruft ( from The Kennel Club ) once spoke to me, introduced me to him, when once on holiday ( UK ) as we were visiting a touristy church as we were walking along the pathway with my dog...he asked me if we entered her in Crufts, as he was Mr Cruft, i felt what an honour to have met him...This would have been 20 years ago...the founder Charles Alfred Cruft had two sons so not sure which of the two we had met, either Charles Francis or Cecil Arthur..

Vanilla-Jackie -- always a pleasure to read your posts.
I wouldn't know much about showing dogs; I had a cat (Abby) that once got a silver cup as the best cat in its class (young animal) -- but it was also the only cat in its class  ;D. Also tried to give her a bath before the showing (didn't know much about cats then), so her bottom half was fluffy and the top (which never hit the water) was straight and sleek, as it should be.

...Abbey won her cup for being the one and only bravest for entering a class all by herself, we must give her credit for that.. ;)

Ahh yes, a two tone mixture fur coat cat, no wonder she was picked out to win, a rarity, guess we wont be seeing many of them..

I so remember how embarrassed we both felt when i told Mr Cruft, no we have never entered her into the Crufts show, as she was just a mongrel cross breed dog, meaning not a pedigree show dog, and wondered why he thought she was....
