Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

Cute Bubble. Some bunny likes Christmas!

I received some ornaments - so here they are near the ceiling!

Nice ornaments Bubble! My favorite gift has to be the men's ten pairs of black and ten pairs of white socks! I'm shaking my head over that one and biting my tongue!   :-\   :)

Actually I would have preferred socks to baubles...

What happened to your tongue, Angel? lol

Bubble, what a lovely card and sentiments. I do hope that in 2021 we WILL be free again. Thank you for sharing.

I agree, such a lovely sentiment and idea!

I wanted to ask what her husband got! Here we were opening and texting as we did, the whole group of us and I was a bit taken back by the men's sizes. I texted back nice socks, and people started texting back if they had patterns or cartoon figures and jokes like that. She only texted thanks, so I dropped it. I have to say, I've never received socks quite like that.

Shirley

Cute Bubble Bunny.... and love those ornaments. How about the Santa clips holding them???  Do hope 2021 we will be "free again". Neat card.

My brain is already asleep tonight. Busy days ahead, daughter got into town & seems the 3 "kids" plan to set up some techie stuff that involves all the iPad/iPhone/computers & whole house wi-fi. Naturally that means I need to hurry & dust, run sweeper in those corners where this fancy clock (just ask it what the temperature is) plus the Google thing like Amazon's Alexa.... my head is aching from thinking about learning how to use this stuff. Enough problems with trying to find all the gadgets in the car!  I know they mean well, but I really could do without some of this stuff. We'll see how this goes.

I'll let Shirley explain them for you

Shirley

I thought I posted a complete run down of the photos... guess I forgot to post. Can't believe I did that~  Bubble, first of all, thank you for resizing & posting. Lots of work for you.  :-[

First photo is that tree stump with red interior.... my SIL found what it is (Google) & I already forgot the name... will come to me later, is a type of maple & the red is caused by some kind of fungus. Box Elder.... !

2nd photo is ground cover that turns red late fall every year, enough to notice as I go down the hill.

#3 is the poor surprise lilies coming up already.... guess who gets the surprise when winter returns. The leaves are long & skinny, they die back & then shoots come up with blooms that remind me of Amaryllis flowers. I do think this is the earliest in 31 years that they have popped up.

#4 is to show you how tall those stumps are so must be a large beaver to cut them off that high, wouldn't you think?

#5 is my path down to the river. When we first bought the house I checked with the shopping center down river & happened to talk to one of the original builders. He said these houses are high enough that if the dam broke we are safe because the water would spread out on down, we are 12 feet higher than downtown Wichita, no flood insurance needed. In 31 years water has never come even a quarter of the way up.

So this is my life on the Arkansas River (pronounced... R-Kansas in Kansas)

Bubble, how nice they're out for a meal! Looking good and hope they're feeling a mite better! I wish them and you a healthy, happy, sane, new year!

Shirley

Aw, I feel like I really know that pair & would be difficult to not give them a hug! When did they get the dog? They do find plenty to do... such a fun looking mother & son. Thanks for sharing with us.

Wishing all a Happy New Year in case I don't remember tomorrow. We heard reports of snow starting tomorrow night, of 6"-9".... but one weather person said they didn't think it would be 9". Tonight they are singing a whole new song so have to wait & see. I did get the snow blower out of storage, gassed up & in the garage...just in case.

They got the dog Sunny one week after Aviv's dad died.
She is not well trained and when visiting here barks too much and tries to attack when someone gets near too fast to Illy! She is very protective!

Shirley

That's the kind of dog I want... bark & protect. These cat just run & hide!

FlaJean

After almost 5 years, my Christmas Cactus is still blooming.  It just sits out on the front porch from year to year with an occasional watering.

WOW! I have never ever seen a cactus with that many
flowers!  It must love its location and the tender care!

MarsGal

Your Christmas Cactus is gorgeous, Jean.

For JaneS

These are my great grands  Emma almost 3 and Mikey  2 months.

Tomereader1

That picture of Mikey tells me he is going to be one headstrong, opinionated little boy.  See those folded arms and the lips in a tight line!  Oh, my. At only 2 months! Lots to look forward to.  But they both are beautiful!

Thanks Bubble for posting this for JaneS.

patricia19

Seriously cute Great Grands, JaneS; but I believe Tome shouldn't count Emma out just yet!

Shirley

I sat here cackling like an old hen at the picture, Jane.... could have been my Andy's grands with those expressions. Now they are a few years older & still call that little boy "the wild man". Thanks for sharing the photo, they really are cute (but I didn't need to tell you that, did I?) I still have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.... they will have their hands full. Tell them I enjoyed every moment of those years when mine were bouncing off each other & when my grands had their turn and now the greats!  You triggered all those memories with that photo, thank you!

Lloyd Hammond

Shirley they are pretty, Now you can understand why we are so happy having our grands and great grands living with us. all of them are great, but the two year old steels the show most all the time, some times I will ask him come here and set on my lap. he will renege. and Nancy will tell him don't you get on grandpas Lap, and he run's and he comes and climbs right up on it.

Lloyd

JaneS

Emma is the spitting image of her mother at that age!  If you put the pictures side-by-side most people would not be able to tell the difference!  And she has a mind of her own.  If Mikey has half of what Emma does, my granddaughter is going to have her hands full!  Fortunately, Emma's determination is mostly fun but when she was learning to move around on two feet, they blocked off the stairs so she wouldn't try going up.  they found her better than half way up the outside of the railing one day!   And that's about 12 feet off the floor!  They have very high ceilings! And she wasn't even 2 yet!

JANE  looks like your granddaughter has a busy time ahead of her with those 2 adorable little ones. Love that smile on Emma, looks so false and Mickey looks like he is thinking why don't you staop fussing with the camera, don't you know I need a diaper change?
