That was a polar bear in my winter illusion, post #3728.  You said you had seen a mother and cubs, which is why I asked. They don't come down this far either, but with less ice and seals to hunt, they're moving further south for food and mixing with grizzlies, creating hybrids that might.

Bubble, I was listening to my car radio on Wednesday, a classical station, and heard a gorgeous piece of music:  Anton Dvorzak, the "Romance" symphony for violin and orchestra; violinist (one of my favorites other than Itzak Perlman) Anna Sofie Mutter.  If you correspond with Don, tell him I heard this and thought of him and the wonderful Sunday music program.
I miss him and the program.

Here I am!  I am back having  take a long rest: I cracked a rib while transferring from car to wheelchair and I can tell you it is really painful.
I am better now.
