Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Stephen Foster was a composer and song writer. His most well-known compositions included Beautiful Dreamer, Camptown Races, and Oh, Susanna. I remember singing plenty of his songs when I was a youngster.

I had no idea that he was born in Lawrenceville, Pa which is along US 15 at the border of PA and NY, just a short ride from where George had grown up. Foster also studied at private academies in Athens and Towanda. George taught high school in Athens. I don't remember going through Athens, but I have been through Towanda. This all has set me off on reminiscing about George and our frequent back-road travels up along the northern tier area of PA and across the river into NY.

Oh, and the Camptown Races was a real place in nearby Canonsburg, PA. Just saw that. Didn't know that either.
