Domestic Goddess: Is this correct, if one would like to post/share a recipe, we do so here?  If so, was searching to see if there were separate recipe categories?

As they say, no room at the Inn....I'll just have to go and find a comfy dog bed then...... ;D

They got up there before we had a chance to put the sofa cover on for the night...

Edited, I took this photo quickly as its very rare to see them laying together on the sofa.....

Larry there are three patients doing physio at the same time, so it's pretty well a one-to-one ratio between patient and kinesiologist

This link shows my "backyard." I live just to the upper right of this small park right at the edge of town. You can see a bit of the foothills that surround the town and help keep out the bad weather and moisture.
They rarely turn the fountain on anymore except for holidays and special events.

I thought it was a photo, until I saw them moving....

That is a stunning view....

I think we have a small park in each neighborhood  or close. That was part of a bow in the Chena River, part of five rivers that intersect the town.

The copper panels situated around the fountain list the founding families in 1903 and "illustrious" members.

Callie--Hiring a steward would be a great idea.  Hurrah for Miss Emily being on TV.

Janie--When are you starting out? :)

Vanilla-Jackie--They look so comfy on the sofa.  Did you chase them off and cover the sofa?

Radioman--Here I don't think you'd get one on one therapy unless you went to a private facility.

angelface--That looks like a lovely area.

If he's driving, who's gonna serve us "refreshing beverages" while we're cruisin' along enjoying the scenery between gigs?
I don't think we need to start rehearsals until we get some bookings.  Anybody interested in being our Agent?  Maybe  :snoopy: is available.    :2funny:

Patricia,  I remember enjoying a "cruise" on the Chena River while on a tour of Alaska.  I think we saw an Athabascan Village and the home of a woman who was a champion dog sled racer.

(If I weren't so tired from putting 6 cups of freshly snapped green beans, 3 cups of diced potatoes,  and 1 cup of diced onion sautéed in the drippings from 6 slices of crisp-fried bacon (to be added later) in the Crock Pot,  I'd hunt up that trip album and verify my statements.   ::)  Maybe later.....)

A good Saturday HELLO to EVERYFRIEND.

Thank you for the goodies today?

We have been outside working away....well, Bob is working, I am supervising and giving my two cents worth!  Got the patio fountain up and running.  Love listening to it...so soothing.  We were going to put up lights around the patio, but decided I really did not like them....too professional looking.  Bob trimmed off dead branches on the tree.  Moral of the story...we are plum worn out and are in our chairs trying to recover.

JACKIE, I sure enjoyed seeing the picture of the doggies on your beautiful sofa....loved the lamp.....I just plain love seeing pictures!  How is Toby Dog getting along eating now?

DON, I forgot to congratulate you on your walking on the treadmill and how well you are doing.  Good for you.

PATRICIA, l enjoyed seeing the camera at Golden Heart Plaza.  I watched it for awhile and plan to go back and have anorexic watch.  Thank you for sharing.

Nice to see your post....JUNE. It appears you are getting back into the swing of things.

Missing Kelly and Sun.  I do hope they are both doing OK.

CALLIE, nice you got to see a shot of your granddaughter on TV.

Rest time is over.....best get busy and get something else done!

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Callie, he can get the refreshing drinks ready before we leave and we can loll in the back, drinking ice tea (or something stronger) and cracking jokes for practice.

I'm about to collapse.  Or maybe not!

Patricia, you are correct in all you say about our diets. I used to love all food levels, but when I got bleeding diverticulosis I found that white bread had to be my choice. I could have the crunch grain breads any more, any thing with seeds is out of allowances. Darn. So, no matter what the heart assoc., diabetes and cancer folks dictate, it could be a killer for some of us now.

Callie, you should have seen what I stuffed down my gullet today..an oriental chicken salad. containing strips of chicken breast, chinese noodles, chopped what looked like pimentos, fine sliced red cabbage, chopped lettuce, a giant size glass of orange juice, a cup of coffee, a small glass of ice water, a cup of rich soup, and I brought home a glob of cottage cheese, chopped water melon cantaloupe, pineapple chunks mandarin oranges, so that may be my supper tonight, along with some cheddar cheese that i have on hand. For some reason cheddar cheese was not advised, and at the same time I am supposed to gain weight. To me cheese is almost a staple food. It must have been a thrill to see Emily on the big screen today. Our kids and grandkids and gr. grands are the pride of our lives.

Vanilla, beautiful sofa, I would like to joint the pups and give them both a big cuddle. They appear to feel right at home there.

Patricia, what a beautiful view you have and what an expanse of the sky…I love it.

Bis, I don't know of another care facility that offers all the amenities we have here at Rowntree Gardens. I think because it is owned by a religious organization, they can do things their way, they don't have a big corporation telling them what to do. I just had a phone call from our clinic downstairs asking how I was doing. Another girl poked her head in earlier today, and one did the same about 9 0'clock last nite. Just checking up. God Bless them !

Jenny, things are going very smoothly and I am so happy. I feel better and better as the hours go by. Thanks for caring dear friend !

June,  that all sounds delicious but I don't see any "stick-to-your-ribs" items - like good old Meat & 3  (beef or pork with 3 veggies, one of which is potatoes).   Love you!
I'm so impressed with the caring attention you're receiving.  That's real "assistance".

Jane,  I do "lolling" very well.  In fact, that's what I'm going to do right now.....

Sleep well, Everyfriend and have sweet dreams.

Denver

CHIA, it is working!  Thank you so much for the heads up and continued support.  All I did was re-type it all and bingo, it was there😍

JUNE, I am so thankful you are feeling so much better.

Dear Ones, If you had seen me tonight you would not believe this 91 year old just came out of the hospital two days ago. After supper we had George Rossi playing and singing for us, and of course I had to come out dancing with my cart. Then I behaved my self till the last song.."Pretty Woman", and that beat got me back on my feet, and i just enjoyed the dance. Crazy !!!

Callie, they (the hospital)recommend very little or no meat. Chicken and fish is their choice. I am not a real meat eater anyway so that rule doesn't bother me. For supper tonight I had a fried drum stick and half a baked potato, plus the cottage cheese and fruit I did not eat for lunch, plus a big glass of apple juice....then on to the entertainment. I am still full. Tomorrow I will concentrate on more vegetables.

I will going to bed soon, as all of you good people are sleeping or ready to sleep, and in addition to all my other foolishness, I don't want to add "talking to myself" to the list.

I pray you all have a very peaceful night and wake rested and eager to face the day. God Bless you each and everyone. I send you love, prayers and big hugs. June
As long as we are here, let's dance.
