It's fun visiting new areas, though the problem now is I'm running out of amusement parks within a day's drive that I haven't visited yet. Next year I plan to head to Missouri (St Louis and Branson; possibly Kansas City as well but I don't know if I'll have time since I want to spend a couple days seeing the sites in Branson)

Meet my second granddaughter - names Pailin (sapphire in Thai language). She is 5 months old today

so_P_bubble

I think there is a lot of Tany's looks in her : the high cheeks and nose.

Bubble, how exciting! Two granddaughters and a grandson! Tany and his wife must be so happy Pailin's here and such a happy, lovely little one!

so_P_bubble

Yes I am blessed. Tany and family are planning on a week-10 days visit in October - if situation permits and planes are still flying. Here it is all so unsettled that I am not getting excited yet.

Marilyne

Bubble, I agree . . . Pailin looks very much like Tany!  She is a beautiful baby.  Hope to see more e photos soon.  Also more of Lynn and Aviv.

Amy

Bubble, beautiful happy baby!!! What a sweetheart! Yes, she does look like Tany..
Thank you for sharing..

The latest fad of Lynn: wearing her brother t-shirt!
But I must admit that she looks good in it.

Amy

Bubble she does look cute in it! She also seems pleased that she can wear it.

She has changed so much just since the last pictures!

Ohio's famous Marblehead Lighthouse. About three and a half hours from where I live. I was in the area the past few days visiting Cedar Point amusement park and always have to stop by Marblehead when I'm in the area.

I went to a garage sale today and couldn't believe what they had and at what prices!

And this smaller one framed under glass as well.

Nice, Patricia. Are they prints or the actual artwork? Somewhere in my still unpacked boxes is my green glass "violet" vase. My Mom had one while but it disappeared eons ago. I found the one I have at a flea market. A reminder of my kiddiehood. My sister has or had Mom's blue blown glass vase with wall hanger. I'll have to ask if she still has it.

Today I am off to see the dentist to see why my teeth on one side of my mouth have decided to become sensitive to cold drinks. It is just about time to make an appointment for Oscar's yearly checkup and shots.

MG, they're prints of course, but by a well known Alaskan artist and professionally matted and framed which is why I asked him if the prices were correct, and he said he was moving outside. There were a number of similar paintings, shelving units, secretaries and other woodwork.

I loved the sound of those vases and would have loved to have similar, but as a military wife, we moved several times crisscrossing the South, Midwest and East coast bases. I shouldn't have bought what I did, as I already have 25 paintings from when I worked at an import store. I was able to purchase on time and with a discount. Now, I'm supposed to be cutting back, not adding to.

One item I would have loved to have room for was a wood-topped wheeled metal shelving unit with a magnetic strip along one side of the wood for knives. There were two silver six foot metal units, one wheeled, and a smaller silver metal wheeled rack.

He just had so many good quality items and such ridiculous prices.

MarsGal

I'm supposed to be cutting back, not adding to. Oh, you mean like me and my books?  :study:

patricia19

Notice I didn't mention books. Besides two shelving units, my Kindle is bulging at the seams... and this is after donating some. But books are important, both need and necessity. So there you go.
