Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Ended up down a Liszt rabbit hole on YouTube tonight. Here's a nice lively one played by a 20-year-old conservatory student. How one gets proficient enough at the piano to be able to play anything by Liszt at 20 is beyond me, but this is very well done.

On today's episode of "people with entirely too much free time", I present to you an entire piano concerto style arrangement of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up". This is what happens when someone takes the joke one step further...

This had been one of my favorite short pieces when I was a youngster. I just loved the sliding trombone and the xylophone. Jazzifying it hasn't detracted from its allure. Check out the comments below the clip. They are giving me a great morning chuckle.
