...i would have loved to have met them in Surrey but, i am now housebound and dealing with other personal and medical issues that are hitting me out of the blue...

Jackie, we are all getting to that point. If I go out it is for medical appointments, I haven't visited my daughter in years now because it requires too much effort and even with the wheelchair I fear falls. For Don it is the same, I wonder if he remembers when was the last time he was out in fresh air.
But we can dream... that is freely accessible, so come and join us!

In france it is very cold these days, below freezing temperatures. My cousin sent me a phto of her kitchen these days - with her 3 cats and 3 dogs.

The desert of Judea on a winter morning

Thanks, Bubble. It's interesting to see a photo of a historical place that you've heard so much about.

For those of you who wondered what minus 41 looked like. These were taken about 11:50 this morning. The exhaust freezes and shows as smoke & those pigeons have to be extra hardy...

Oh my, those photos make me shiver!   I start complaining when our temps drop into the +40's.

I was truly in awe watching those videos.  I have a few friends who have visited the Holy Land and the pictures they shared were amazing.  I can't imagine living in this place and seeing it daily.
