Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Hal, I have to put in a plug for my Ohio River, one photo and putting a slide show in that discussion.

halkel

Jack, sorry about that.  You have contributed.....all I have is a water hose in the backyard.

Shirley

I've enjoyed the colorful sunsets from Jack, the many shows from Sachiko, what a delight to have you back, Sachiko.... and another gorgeous flower from Sato... Makes me feel guilty that I haven't helped in here.  I do have photos on the camera but have no luck resizing & cropping on this computer.  Have downloaded them to the old Vista computer but problems getting back to working with them.  This RV problem is taking up all of my time this week.  Jack, that is a beautiful view of your river.

Sachiko, the "highway" people have uprooted the trees where herons & egrets nested the last few years, the developers have wanted the farm property (within the city limits) for years.  I see the big birds now & then but not like other years, so makes me sad and angry that greed has taken away such amazing creatures.  I have years of photos to show you when I find time.  Thanks for sharing your worlds.  Shirley

Haha.... and you do have a funny trigger in your brain, Hal!

jackwv

Hal, seems to me you would forget the hose and try the River Walk, how close are you to it?

JeanneP

Sato.  Now I think you mean to send to JeanneLee when talking Photography. Me as JeanneP cannot use a camera of any kind other than on my Ipad and even then I dont know how to get them into Senior and Friends.  Enjoy looking at all that you people post on here though.

You have spent quite a long time in the hospital. Hope you get home soon. You must miss going around with your camera. But as long as they are taking care of your problem it will have been worth the stay.

Jack I am quite aways from the River Walk. And I don't relish fighting traffic and finding a place to park.  Expensive too.

FlaJean

beautiful view of the Ohio River, Jack.

JeanneP

As long as they have all those darn birds flying around on the River Walk I don't want to sit  down there again. Got covered with POOP. Eating there was awful.

Good morning!

Jack, halkel, Shirley, thank you very much for your comments about my photo!

Jack, I just enjoyed your video of Ohio River. I understand the state of the coast, too. There is pathos in your photo and your photo is splendid.

jackwv

Sachiko I have very little video, and the river near me does not have the rapid flow and the wild life like the Ashida.

Jack, the Ashida River where I take photos flows through the country. But when it goes to the down stream, it drift to the downtown of Fukuyama, and the scenery changes. But unfortunately it is difficult for me to take downstream scenery of the Ashida River now.

Sachiko3

At last I found a suitable video “Ashida river & Flowers”. I made this video on June 23, 2008. And I posted it in "Photo Slide Shows and Home Videos".

We live in an area of arboreal forests and many rivers, five just in or close by town, but they are known for hazards, swift water, whirlpools or debris under the water so caution is always stressed.

Patricia, a pretty site, but I would not go into the water.

Lindancer, cute photo, looks like how I watch tv. :)

JeanneP

Cute. Looks like it was enjoying TV about as much as I do.  Nothing worth watching anymore.
Was it reading a book also. ?
JeanneP

Lindancer

JeanneP, that is where she lays when I am posting.  Sometimes she sets up, and I have to try in look around her.

Jack, my neighbor is not here to help me, so I am trying to send a picture on my own.

This is a rabbit eating my flowers, just after I planted them

Gloria, you did well in posting. I wonder if the rabbit is thinking, "Uh oh!"

I can't believe how much Taffy reminds me of Farrah, in looks and in manner.

jackwv

Gloria, you did good.   We have rabbits but they only get grass in my yard.

Lindancer

Patricia, I have always known that Farrah, would come around. Taffy, still will go in the bedroom when a women comes in. she like s men, comes running in when Gene from next door comes over. Maybe it was a women who abused her.

Jack, my neighbor put  some pictures on desktop, and showed me how to send them from there.

Gloria there is a code under the photo, and I find if I right click and open I get the larger photo.

Good morning!

angelface, beautiful area! I remembered the neighborhood of our villa.
I also would not go into the water.

Sachiko3

Gloria, wonderful photos!

Taffy seems to watch TV.

To eat the flower which you just planted! You would be disappointed. But it was a nice timing to take a photo.

JeanneP

Gloria.  You did good posting that Picture of the Rabbit.  I am just going to have to try harder to get photo's on here.  Like I say I can get them onto my IPad. From there to a E-M on my desktop. Then Stuck there. I need to work on it.

Gloria it looks like our JeanneLee did an adjustment.  JeanneLee I see you are home, take care and hope you are regaining your strength.

Sachiko3

My husband went to our vegetables garden this morning. And he harvested 4 tomatoes, 6 eggplants, one cucumber. The cucumber is still only one. The cherry tomato was produced in our garden.

JeanneP

Sachiko.

Nice looking Vegetables. Now what is you husband planning on making with them. Have the makings of a nice Salad.
JeanneP

Lindancer

Sachiko, Your garden and vegetables look so good.  I love tomatoes, think I will have a BLT sandwich for lunch.

Jack, thank you for help, I will try the R.click  maybe to day.

JeanneP, go ahead and try, the folks in here are nice and helpful.

JeanneLee, thanks, and hope you keep feeling stronger.
