Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Yes. He is going to be a Heartbreaker when he gets older. I don't remember if we have seen a Photo of his father ever. Now is he also a handsome man? I know his mum very pretty. Such Hair. A girl would love it. I remember mine being same colour and curly. I wanted it straight.

Bubble, Aviv has lost that baby look and now has the look of a boy, very good looking as you know and he seems to have a sweet personality from his photos.

I also noticed a very nice looking rug as well! Its good to see Aviv again.

Turn off the news and find a spot like this to sit on a park bench and enjoy the silence and beauty.  Taken this evening.

Mary Ann

Jack, that is such a peaceful place.

Bubble - Happy photos of your family.  Rafi is a handsome man, and Aviv looks just like him!

Jack - When I first looked at your photos, I thought the deer were statues!   Beautiful, graceful animals.

Bubbles, your grandson is adorable.

Jack, Such good photos---very peaceful.  We've been looking at a lot of Netflix lately!

JeanneP

Bubbles. Yes, a handsome man. Now is he Son or SIL?

Jack does live close to what I would think of Garden of Eden.  I imagine it is Cooler later in the day.  Have to keep your clothes on there Bubble.  Would not let you and Don jumping around in their Pool.

Even the UK. France, Germany all up in the 90+ deg. right now.  Most with no A/C . World weather is really changing.
Someone came up with a idea of people just being able to drive their cars to work and back and only allowed to use them so many hours a week. Thinks auto's the problem.

JeanneP sorry for the bit I add to the warming.   When the walls close in I get in the car and drive.   Once or twice a week I drive to a favorite cafeteria, that is 10 miles from my home.  That is 20 miles round trip so less than a gallon of gas and added to the price of the meal is still a bargain.  I also drive to the park almost daily.   Long time since I had a long drive from work and was stuck in traffic.

JeanneP

Jack.  the food must be good there if you drive 20 miles to eat it.  I have to get out of the house every day also. (Not doing it until late in day right now) Just to hot.
I maybe do about 10 miles a day only.  Use to drive to friends a lot about 35 miles away almost 4 times a week. Just don't seem to do it often now.

Even my area is just bumper to bumper cars anymore. Also have 2 main Interstates surround me.  But looks like more would come from all the planes in the air. When you realize about how many  thousands fly out of airports daily. I often wonder where all the people go now. Both driving and flying. Remember when people just left town a couple times a year. That was us. Twice a year. On vacation, to see family at Christmas. Things have changed. Now people have to be on the go all the time.  Think nothing of just getting into their cars and driving hundreds of miles. We have them here just drive up to ball games and things in Chicago. (137 miles) like they are going to the corner shop. I think it would be a help if they kept the price of gas higher. Its like in UK where there a Gal of gas never seems to get less than $5.  They don't waste it. Here they will complain but never stops them from going.  Think in town now I saw it for $1.72 a gal. But then I saw cigarettes being asked for also in the gas station at $5.15 a pack. So go figure.  Crazy place.

Bubble, your family looks warm, interesting and gorgous! Great family photos!

Bubble, I love watching Aviv grow up.... I'm sure we compared ages with him & my GREAT-gr-son, Jace, who just turned 6. (I thought he was going to be 7.)  Jace has straight black hair like his father... and his mother is almost white-blond.  They have another baby girl due in the next 7 days, Amelia, his sister, was 2 first of June.  Thanks for taking time to size & post Aviv's photos....  is his father or mother your "baby"?  Good looking parents & nice they live close.  Rafi looks a lot like my oldest son & my son-in-law. My son has the least hair... my father and later brothers, lost their hair early as did most of my nephews, don't get to pick the genes!

Aw, Jack, what beautiful shots of those babies.  I agree with all the comments, that is a spot of Heaven.

JeanneP, gas was rationed (Suez Crisis) when we were in England.  Not sure if it was rationed or just expensive the first year or so (mid-'50s).  My husband needed the car to get back & for to the base so I didn't drive often. Besides, they drove on the wrong side of the road!   :2funny:

It is miserable hot here.... over 100 today & much worse because of the humidity.  Everything is wilted, even the cats.  They prefer being outside to the AC.  I didn't even walk down to the river today....

Sachiko3

Bubble, what a pretty Avi is! I hoped he did not get a stomach out of order. Enjoyed your photos very much!

Sachiko3

Jack, what a splendid place! It is quiet and peaceful. Those photos are beautiful.

Thank you, thank you for admiring Aviv and his dad.  Yes they are wonderful to watch when together: the little one admiration for his dad and the careful attention from the adult to this precocious child. Aviv  was four in May.
Illy is my elder, Tany the youngest of my two.  Tany lives in UK these last three years.

Terribly hot here too.  I am lucky to have some sea breeze getting in from the main big window.

Vanilla-Jackie

I can see the resemblance but he has moms hair.... ;)

I bet little Aviv had no trouble blowing out those candles, bless him...

Great picture Sachiko.  I think I recognize corn in the background.  Is the ground plant zucchini?

Sachiko3

Bubble, It is pumpkin.
These are parts of today's crops.

Ha ha, yes agree, shape of a duck.....Just doesn't everything look so ripe and healthy....Sachiko you have a very healthy lifestyle....

Sachiko, I am not familiar with Edamame beans, nor knew of boiled soy bean...

I have to remark on how pretty you look in your ( Birthday ) morning summer dress, you look very well and relaxed....I have never seen you without a smile, which is always a pleasure... :)
