Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Oranges is one I particularly like,  You did great!
I wish I had more time to p lay these days but with my caregiver in holiday abroad, every task and chore takes three times as much time as it should.

Thank you Bubble, I do like the simple ones such as Orange Reflections. We'll just forget about that s in the wrong place....

Your Oh! was particularly well done. I think I strained my eyes looking back to see what she had! Ornamental Curls made me think you were using one of the panopticum filters? I have five of them. However, I really like either the fire3 one or the ice pattern.

What did you think of my first lesson, reply number 1256?

so_P_bubble

The wine without label? lol
I don't know... it did not speak to me, maybe because I did not like the framing.

Marilyn

Angel I really like the Orange one too. In particular I love that tube.

Hmmm. Imagine instead, a lighter blue and a little girl poser in a raspberry jumper, looking out with those soulless eyes. I quite liked my version. The framing was part of the lesson.

Did you use panopticum in yours?

Thank you, Marilyn. I really liked the tube, but not the tutorial it came in. I had deleted it or else I could send it to you.

so_P_bubble

No I used something else, I don't think I ever used Panopticum.

angelface555

I'll have to send you information on the filter. It's along the lines of eye candy or flaming pear in style. However, different filter sites list it only by name and when you download, you never know which of the five filters you have until you unzip it.

I am posting lessons 88 through 90 and they have stepped up their game with multiple filters, effects and really different settings on selections, 3D shadows, and offsets.

Lesson 88,

[attachimg=1]

angelface555

This lesson,89, supplied everything and boy is it ugly. However, you used multiple filters, three separate filters for tiling and different offsets and settings as well as selections and masks. One of those where you keep checking back with the lesson's picture for comparison.

Lesson90. I used a older male tube for the tube of men's items. They used a young male on a motorcylce which didn't fit in.

I wish he had a stool or a tree stump! The levitating makes me uneasy lol
I liked that unusual 88 frame. great idea!
You are right, ugly for 89 but if it helps to learn new stuff...

:) Bubble, they used a eyecandy5 perspective shadow which would have looked fine with the guy and his motorcycle. But....I didn't think the pipe and stein went with the younger man! Anyway, I needed the shadow for the lesson.

Do you see the curve in the lesson? That one used selection, two filters and a bit of the lesson telling us to decide what colors to go with the curve, using those little bottles of color. Remember those from our early lessons? Then a layer duplicate and offset.

Lesson #89 was a long and busy one. I would love to see what Phyllis decides to substitute with. There is a lot of work for that tutorial! Lesson 88 also had its share of go here and go there bits, but the end, to me, was lovely!

I liked the cheery colors used in Spring Delights and Waxy Mosaics! Were those letterhead tuts?

so_P_bubble

Yes, I like to do those letters papers so as to learn about their backgrounds effects.

angelface555

Bubble, I know Gloria did many of them and so have I just because I liked many of the designs and I sometimes incorporated them into tags.

I asked for dragons and fireplaces at one of my groups, "Nothing Cute Here," and not only did I receive a lot but I had asked for no religious, AC or SAC and I got that too! so I am slowly building my tube library back to what it was in 2005 through 2009. And I am finally finding on the web, more and more of guys with their clothes on, and isn't that a funny sentence if you didn't realize I meant PSP tubes.

The next three are lessons numbering 91, 92, and 93.

This is another complicated one but without that space frog! The fox tube I had worked and it was nice to use your own tube. These later tutorials are certainly becoming more complex.

great pairing of tubes in the last one! The blending on the first is very delicate and smooth. That is a hard thing for me to do but you are an expert in it.
The bubble pattern in the space frog one looked almost like a fractal. Less so in lesson 92.

angelface555

The fractal was gradients, three separate tilings, six filters and selections and masks, no fractals. Since Dropbox is leaving my tubes for last, all the ones I've used are from Malackatubes. And my email groups. All the guys and gals are from her.

Blending isn't hard for me and using arithmetic is the same. It's those ones that you need to use perspective and depth perception that I can't do. And those filters that use the little sliders! Why won't they just let you write the numbers in?

I really liked the one with cats, Criss Cross Plaid. It is a sort of butterscotch plaid. Amigas2 is a bit busy, but not too much and I like the moon and cityscape!  The evening dresses are nice too!

so_P_bubble

"those filters that use the little sliders!"

I found that sometimes the arrows left or right make you correct the sliders if you are off a little on either side.

angelface555

Thanks! I'll try that because with arthritis, its hard to be precise on the sliders!
